A chance

"You… You are still fixated upon that?" Chu Yuechan seemed surprised and asked him with a hint of helplessness in her tone.

Yang Tian sneered in return, "Fixated upon that? Did you think I would forget?!"

"You should remember that you threatened my very life. Moreover, you believed that you could do such a thing because you were at a higher cultivation realm than me. I don't know what you would do to me after using me, probably silence me so that I won't be able to spread the news about this…"

"The only reason you couldn't do it was because of Jasmine. You were scared of her, and that was why you didn't dare to anger me. After having experienced that, I had wanted you to experience what it feels like to be on the other end and take your live-interview of how you felt!"

Chu Yuechan was taken aback as she heard his words. Yang Tian wasn't wrong as he said that. In fact, the more she thought about it, the more she realised just how heinous her actions had been.

For him to forget that matter as if it was nothing… Just how could she fool herself into thinking that?!

She wanted to open her mouth and say something, but the intense look in Yang Tian's made her stop.

Chu Yuechan's heart fell into a panic as she saw Yang Tian right in front of her.

"Do you want to die?" Yang Tian said as his hand suddenly grabbed hold of Chu Yuechan's throat.

He picked her up with one hand, "Maybe I should help you out with it." He slowly squeezed his hand and startled to strangle Chu Yuechan.

"Amph… Eph…" Chu Yuechan felt as if her life was being squeezed out of her right now.

She unconsciously flailed her arms and tried to get out of Yang Tian's grasps.

"Hoh? You are struggling? Does that mean you still want to live? Or is it because you don't want to experience a painful death?" Yang Tian said with a sneer on his face.

Meanwhile, watching this scene, Jasmine was somewhat surprised. She didn't think Yang Tian would take his revenge in such a manner.

Jasmine didn't feel even a hint of pity for Chu Yuechan. Didn't this woman want to kill Yang Tian? This should indeed be the result. She had hoped to personally kill this woman… but her death in such a manner was also not bad.

A cold smile appeared on Yang Tian's face as he released her throat.

This question did startle Chu Yuechan. Indeed… Her profound veins had been crippled, so how she could even move her arms or legs?

"I have connected the veins in your body with my profound energy. You shouldn't have an issue for one or so month."

"And from now, it's your choice whether you want to cultivate or not, but I warn you, the price for that might be a little too much for you." Yang Tian said before turning towards the cave.

This cave was the reason he had even come here.
