21 Is this heaven…?

   Growlll!

The tall, bony zombie let out a deep snarl, before slowly turning its head to Blake.

Zombies were sensitive to sounds, and due to that loud shout, it easily noticed Blake.

Growl!

Another growl left its mouth, as it suddenly started running towards the black haired boy, with its arms swaying loosely.

Its speed was quite slow, and its long, draping arms only served to slow down its speed even more.

Blake gritted his teeth in anger, as he stared at the zombie running towards him. "I'm going to kill you… zombie." He muttered under his breath, with his body trembling slightly in anger.

Unbeknownst to him, his eyes glowed red for a second, before returning back to normal.

He could feel a strange warm sensation coursing through his body, filling him with strength. It was the exact same thing he felt yesterday… when he met the large-mouth zombie.

With a thunderous cry of rage, he dashed towards the zombie, his right hand drawn back like a coiled spring, ready to strike.

"Lightning Ball!" Blake yelled. Sparks of blue lightning instantly flickered around his palm, growing in intensity and rapidly forming into a medium-sized lightning ball.

Thrusting his hand forward, Blake immediately hurled the lightning ball towards the zombie.

Blitz!!

The lightning ball crackled loudly as it flew through the air, leaving a small trail of lightning.

Growl!

The bony zombie snarled at Blake, but it made no effort to dodge the blue ball heading for its face.

Boom!

In a matter of seconds, the lightning ball closed in on the zombie's face, striking it with force before detonating into a burst of electrifying blue sparks.

Growl!

The force behind the blast caused the tall, bony zombie to stumble backwards by a few steps, but apart from that, the lightning ball didn't seem to have affected it much.

The zombie simply growled at him, before it continued charging at him once more.

Blake's eyes widened slightly when he noticed this, and a deep frown appeared on his face.

'Damn it! If that doesn't work, then I'll just pour more mana into the attack!!' He exclaimed inwardly, before charging towards the zombie with another loud shout.

"Lightning…" He muttered, halting his steps for a second and stretching his hand towards the zombie.

Veins bulged at the sides of his head as he rapidly poured more mana into the skill.

Sparks of blue lightning appeared around his hands once more, except this time they were flickering a lot more violently.

Crackle!!

The sparks rapidly came together, forming into an even larger ball of blue lightning.

"…Ball!!" Blake shouted, as he suddenly thrusted his hands forwards, hurling the blitzing blue ball towards the zombie.

Blitz!!

The lightning ball flew through the air at astonishing speed, rapidly closing in on the bony zombie.

Bam!!

The hit the zombie right on its forehead, immediately exploding into another burst of lightning sparks.

The force behind the attack was a lot stronger than the last time, and it jerked the zombie's head backwards, causing it to stumble.

A deep, charred imprint appeared around the area the attack hit, and the thin, bony creature growled in annoyance.

After launching that attack, Blake still didn't stop, instead he swiftly released two more lightning ball towards the zombie.

Blitz!!!

Blitz!!

The sound of lightning crackling echoed in the air, as the balls flew towards the zombie at astonishing speed.

They hit the zombie within seconds, each one landing right on his shoulders, before suddenly exploding into blue sparks of lightning.

Growl!!!

The bony zombie let out a loud growl, as the attack jerked his shoulders backwards, leaving another deep burnt mark.

Its thin, bony legs stumbled unsteadily on the ground, as its long arms kept dangling loosely at its sides.

Seeing as the tall zombie was struggling to stay on its feet, Blake immediately dashed towards it, with one of his hands pulled backwards, aiming for a strike.

'This is my chance… to kill this zombie!!' He roared in his thoughts, with veins still bulging all over the sides of his head.

The amount of strength he felt coursing through him was almost twice more than he remembered, and he could tell that this was due to him allocating a good portion of his stat to his strength.

It wasn't just his strength, but also the rest of his physical abilities, which had greatly improved.

Due to how fast he was running, he got to the zombie within a few seconds.

With gritted teeth, he swiftly thrusted his hand his fist towards the zombie's abdomen, delivering a full-powered punch.

Blake would have loved to target the face, but due to the huge height difference between them, he could only settle for its abdomen.

Thwack!!

A dull sound reverberated in the air, as Blake's fist connected with the zombie's belly.

Blake winced slightly the moment his fist hit the bony body of the zombie. Rather than a body, it felt like his hand hit a sack of bones, and his knuckles stung with pain.

Growl!

The force behind the hit caused the zombie's abdomen to cave in, and it let out a low growl, as its back arched backwards.

Its feet stumbled backwards, and it seemed like it could fall to the ground at any moment.

Blake, seeing this, felt like it was another opportunity, and quickly tried to activate his skill.

Roarrr!!

However, the zombie suddenly roared to the sky, before swinging its left at him with insane speed.

Blake's eyes widened in shock, and he immediately tried to dodge the large hand by jumping to the back.

But he was too slow, or rather, the swing was just too fast!

Before he could even react to it, the large palm had already closed in on him, slamming into his side with immense force.

Thwam!!

Bam!!

A loud sound echoed in the air, as Blake's body was flung helplessly to the side, crashing into a small bungalow at the side of the street.

"Arrgh!!" Blake grunted in pain, and blood spurted out from his mouth.

Bam!!

His back slammed into a wall in the house, causing deep cracks to appear on the surface.

"Arrgh!" Blake groaned in pain. Pain stung him at all parts of his body, especially at his back and the left side of his body.

The zombie's palm was large enough to cover more than half of his body, and it felt like all his bones were crushed by that single hit.

He didn't even know how he still managed to stay alive, even after crashing through the wall of a building.

He was starting to get dizzy, and he could feel his consciousness slowly slipping away.

He slowly opened his eyes, however, what he saw instead… was pure white.

'Huh? Is this heaven… am I… dead already?' He mumbled inwardly.

Meanwhile, the zombie growled and then it swung its long arms towards the building, completely breaking down the wall that separated it from Blake.

After crashing down the wall, it slowly stepped into the building, his eyes settling on Blake, whose body laid weakly against a wall.

The boy's eyes were slightly opened, and his body kept twitching repeatedly.

Growl!

It growled once more, with drool leaking from the sides of its lips, as it slowly stretched its long hands towards the black-haired boy.
