AMBER ROSE chapter 29.

The crown prince Alexandro wondered why she ran away. He decided to leave when he saw his mother. "I didn't expect you to be here, mother", he said turning to facevhet properly.

" I saw it. I saw it all happen, Alex", she said annoyed. "What exactly?" He asked expressionless. "You on her, you kissed, you..."

" It was just a mere misunderstanding. Her knot was lose", he said and his mother scoffed. " Lose indeed. It never lose if you knot it well", she said showing her knot as an example.

" Why are you suddenly so interested in my love life?" He asked and she sighed. " I have to be, a weak lady can destroy the kingdom and I would be worried how she'd train the heir"

Like how you trained me? Instead he said, " I hope this isn't about the lady Gwendolyn". She nodded. " She is the perfect person for you", she said and he looked mockingly at his mother.

" Yeah, true" he scoffed her. Queen Thalia looked at him. " She must have knowingly done that to seduce you", she said and he turned his back on her.

"If it was so, it did work. I don't care", he said.

" Good thing you weren't bare chested", she said and he laughed mockingly. " Why?"

" You don't know how many maids you have seduced", she said and he turned to her. " Did I in anyway seduce my mother?" He asked and she gasped at such haughty nature.

" You know I can't go the court looking like that. The rumour would be that the king to be has finally lost it ", he said and she agreed. " By the way, don't interfere with my love life", he said and started walking away.

" I like it when you smile. Your smile's like spring", she said and he stopped and turned to her. " What's your deal?" He asked. The woman laughed. " Everyone says the crown prince knows no woman, but in the past few months, you have been in bed with a woman twice"

He looked surprised, how did she know. Maybe then she knew about the attempted murder by an unknown or maybe...

His eyes were wide.

As if she had read his mind, she said," I didn't push her. I too wonder who did that"

The crown prince Alexandro wanted to leave and she said, " I might have her head". He turned sharply, his beast almost unleashing. "Don't you dare, mother", he said and she sighed.

" You have truly gone insane..."

"I've had a long day, it's almost noon. You know how much I hate morning court meetings _" he sighed and continued, "_they are depressingly boring. I thought you wanted to talk about politics, but turned out to be the fantasy romance you have set for me. It's almost time for my nap, mother, I'll leave first".

As he was leaving, he stopped and said, " And about my love life, if you think it's a total mess, you must leave it alone and do one thing for me". He turned his neck to face her and said, "Scram".

He left without turning back.

As he walked to his room, lost in thoughts, he bumped into the lady who had eyes but never saw. He thought they were actually both blind when walking in different directions but the same lane.

" It hurts bad", she said and without looking knew it was him. Who else would bumo into her. But she was embarrassed over what happened an hour ago. He looked at her .

"It's bleeding", he said. That's when she realized that she was bleeding through her nose. The crown prince Alexandro called the physician and took her to her room.

The physician stopped the bleeding and the crown prince took him out of the room. "You two look like a couple, your highness", he said to the prince and smiled. " She's just staying"

"Seems more like an amber rose to me", he said and for once the crown prince looked confused. "What does that mean?" He asked .

"Powerful and complete. You are good intellectually and require several outlets for your energies. You are not a builder but a planner, and you want others to carry out your plans.You are bold, independent, inquisitive and interested in research. You know what you want and why you want it.", he said.

How can a physician be so sharp.

" I don't think that's her", he said totally disagreeing. "I know these things. These kind of people, you can't tell what their thinking, but_"

" But?" He asked waiting to hear it.

" She seems to like you. I can tell that", he said and the crown prince sighed and went in to meet her.

He looked at her for sometime then decided to ask. " Amber rose. What do you think that means?" He asked.

She seemed surprised but said, " These things have multiple meaning, but if you ask me, I'd say love". She looked at him and asked.

" Why do you ask?" He said nothing.

If it was love, he was sure he was feeling something for this lady, but he wasn't if she trusted him or he trusted her.

" Have some rest", he said and stood to leave ,but she was quick. She dragged him back and once more they were in that awkward position.

"Remember when we did your so called dare or die?" He asked and she nodded." Yes, I remember ", she said.

"I didn't get to dare you"

Ugh this brat!

"You didn't do my dare", she said challenging him. " You stopped me", he said peacefully.

How can he be so peaceful in this extra tensed moment.

" You're right. So what do you want. What is your dare?" She asked and he came closer to covering the distance. She wanted air, she would soon choke and that awkward position could send them straight to hell.

The crown prince Alexandro touched her lips and his expression finally changed. It wasn't to the best .

It was to the worst.

It was as dangerous and peaceful as death yet sensuous.

" I must dominate that lips" . And without letting her object, he kissed her.
