1 Introduction To Earth07

*Year 2100*

"The Dark flowers have bloomed..... Again.

We have failed constantly, For fuck knows how many times now! Look around us! this Arid land, these streams of all consuming magma, this eternal Grim night, which will never see the light of dawn! How many times will everyone we know, DIE! everytime the memories come back, I move closer to passing a blade through my throat ! More so every time…..

This loop of Fate! Do we deserve this? Is saving all life worth enough for us to take in so much sorrow ? Why don't we just give in, we can't get any results anyways, maybe there is something divine that has sealed our fates? and maybe we can never escape eternal doom!?.....

I… I…..don't want to see this gloomy scenery any more...."*Sobs*

The smell of rotting flesh encompasses the surroundings of the great mountains getting stronger and stronger with each passing minute, eerie souls of the now dead conscious beings, screaming. Their Fear, regrets, despair and shattered morality filled the atmosphere. Dark humanoid flowers, blooming from every direction, trying to cover any untainted land.

At the centre of this untainted land, right under the great mountains, in a small rocky clearing, at the center of a circle of mystical runes, stood silhouettes of two people, seemingly lacking limbs and on death's doors.

A shaky voice replies

*cough*

"You might be right…. maybe there is something that has sealed our fate. Maybe an omniscient being has decided how we all go. Maybe all of this is just a roundabout way to die...…

But I couldn't give two fucks about it!.....

We have a way to try again. and again, we will do just that! Fate should just kill me if it is getting late on it's conclusion, cause there is no other way i am giving up , and I know even you think the same, or you would've given up a long time ago…

But if the burden is too much, you could place it all on me…..

I will save all of us by myself, no matter the sacrifices… Though I know you enough to know that you won't abandon me.

The blooming flowers approach closer and closer by the second and are now only a minute away from tainting all land.

There Was No Time Left.

She put her arms across him and leaned forward on his back. A warm Embrace on the edge of the Grim reaper's cold Scythe.

The runes start radiating with a sharp shine in response to a gesture by the man.

"Prometheus."

A last soft sound let out by the women, the runes got brighter and brighter and brighter and then disappeared, leaving behind the carcass of a burnt Vampire.

Without a seconds delay, the carcass got

Covered in Dark flowers….. And was Lost in this Dark Flower Garden.

Present day(year 2075)

Cold breeze constantly sweeps through the ocean's surface, gently carrying the waves that have decided the direction of a boat's destination. The sun radiates it's brightness onto the peo-!

I can hear laughter echoing in the near distance….

*squints eyes thrice*

Ohh! it's just my class laughing…... inside the yacht we were in? …. We…. Wait, Wait… Why can I see the entire body of yatch? Also why do i feel wet, also! why am i feeling another man's embrace!?

"Damn, didn't expect you to be so darn heavy! next time try to wake up early, alright." says an irritated yet joyful tone while swimming me to the boat. It was Sin,short for Sindbad,man's the king of the class when it comes to the ocean. He is one of the best homies I got, though I call everyone the best, hehe…

" it's all muscles! "I claimed, with all the breath I had , which right now, is very less since i just woke up to being thrown overboard

I got my shit together and burst past Sin who had let his guard down and made it to the yacht. Grabbing the cold Handrail the first chance I got, climbing onboard. A cold breeze swept past me, sending shudders down my spine.

"you pieces of shits " I exclaim in a not so enthusiastic tone while meeting eyes with everyone as I am greeted by the majority of my class of lunatics who are laughing their ass off…I said majority cuz a few were doing the hiding laugh and the one I expected to be bat shit crazy laughing, was not even present…

I could figure out that they did this because I overslept. Usually it's expected of a person to go berserk at this point but I find it too troublesome, don't get me wrong, I am kinda pissed, but I don't wanna box everyone on the damn boat, since I know for a fact that everyone was included. Not that I can't, rather, it's just a waste of time… and also I will admit it is kind of funny..….

I see someone staring from inside the yacht with a nasty smile on their face,but as I meet eyes with the person, they fled inside… I am pretty sure who it was, probably couldn't control looking at me like this… let's just leave it at that since i got more stuff on hand*shivers*

"Here, take this you might be getting cold, Dre" says fancy, while handing me a towel with a slightly worried expression all over her face, Fancy is short for Cammile Francis, she is one of the kindest girls I know, and someone every man should treasure…

"Thanks man," while looking down on everyone laughing, I said "at least there is one sane person on board.. ".

The commotion calmed down and I got to the Sauna room to regain my abruptly lost energy for the day..

I was disappointed in Mr Choube, man was supposed to prevent us from going crazy but he was in the VR room playing Morning Musume …or so I was told by Uthpal, but I am pretty sure Uthpal Ilais was not joking…

Anyways, I guess I am overdue for an introduction. I am Dracuv Loreganb. Me, and my class recently completed our 10th grade in the Defence Corps DC special training agency, Nasu. It's an international agency that defends us from the Vampires and other mystic power-bearing creatures who are a threat to Human lives.

We are also the main rescue force against any S tier or greater threats, S tier starts from a building collapsing so the normal S tier is C tier for us because we can easily control it with our Ebony suits that brings me to what we are all aiming to be.

Ebony knights!

the rank given to all graduates of the DC academy. And we basically, just got through our first milestone so we are on a vacation right now, it's some well deserved fun, which the Ebony Knights don't get enough of….

Well... I lied, see, we are not on vacation just yet, the place we are going to is like a ceremonial island to visit after first graduation for every member of the defence crops, peninsula sector 03, which includes most of south India.

It's our main home base, a special island where only members of the corps reside, whilst also being one of the most highly protected islands on the planet. Which it should be, since it defends Earth's protectors.

It also holds special meaning to us orphan corp members, since it is our home and something closest to that of a family…

Most of us in the corps are orphans who get adopted by major families in the Defence Agency, agencies that produce gadgets for the DC to use.

Me and my brother, are also orphans, we were adopted by the Loreganb House. Owner to the Lore manufacturers.

Of course not all of the members are orphans. Anyway-

" OYE! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE ALONG WITH ME!!?" I cried out, startled and hurrying to find a towel

"don't scare me like that, and let me guess it was your idea to throw me overboard, wasn't it? It always happens when u try something stupid, your nose starts running every single time!"

Karan is the leader of our class and also our gang, which is an actual gang that comes under the group that runs the streets in our locality, we call him Kk or Kdot, he is a really amazing leader. Usually having the top 2 buttons off in his white shirt and black overcoat. He is the type who can't hide things, and if he tries something stupid his nose always starts running.

"yeah man… I shouldn't have thought about it, it's divine retribution for me, the gods are watching me and they judged what I did was evil, I am really sorry man! " Karan gets up and starts bowing in a apologetic manner

"That doesn't even matter! cover your ass with a towel first!!!"

"ohh shit, I forgor-"

*HOOOOOOOOO NNNNNNN KKKKKKKkk*

"Damn, is there a commercial ship passing by or something,whatsup with that sound?" I said as we grabbed our clothes to get to the deck

Right next to our yacht stood another yacht, but the size difference made ours look like a joke, It had a certain air of superiority to it that we could all feel..

Atop this giant I could make out a familiar face!

All of us recognized it! It was the prodigy of batch 2, Andrew Knight. His blonde hair wiggling with the fast sea breeze. He has the highest set of achievements in the history of DC's academy till 10th grade.

With the sun getting eclipsed by the body of their yacht, we could see the entirity of the second batch coming into sight and the very sun highlighting them, damn I want to stand there and look so cool!

It feels like we weren't the only ones on our way to the island of Heaven's Sights.

"yooo! Kdot, Hanna and everyone !" says Andrew from the 3rd and topmost floor of his Yacht, getting down in an extravagant and unesacary jump with his ebony gear.

"Yoooo Drewwwvyy! What are you doing out here?! You heading to the Sights island too!? Hanna Tyson yelled. Hanna Tyson, Chinese Brazzilian in birth, is one of the best in athletic capability onboard our ship and she is the queen of our group as she wears a headband.... Don't know how that came to be, but it is what it is.

"nah, that's not what we are here for, sadly, at least not right now"Abella carter, from the 2nd batch declared" we are actually on a side job to hunt a sea serpent round these parts, they've been a real nuisance to the local fishermen and as you would know, they aren't too happy about it. We've been asked to exterminate it..

But it's not really that easy to find a serpent in a ocean, even though it's said to be around fifty-eight meters... "

*mutters*

"ehhe" with a smug smile on her face and an intimidating aura she stares Karan right in the eyes, as if trying to instigate something

I knew what she was trying to do, and without a seconds dela-

"Then let's hunt it together, it sounds like a lot of fun, but let's make it a contest of who finds it first! It would be a good warm up match before the tournament next month between the graduating classes!"

It was already decided that the contest is on without needing any approval from the other party as even if they didn't like the proposal, it doesn't matter if we finish their quest first, we get our clout points regardless. But I am sure batch 2 had this in mind all along

"This is why i like you K ki!" says an excited Andrew "then it's o-"

"Not yet kids!" says an alarmed Choube,

the dude probably got off his VR after that mega honk of their boat

"If it's 2 of the top 10 batches of DC facing off, then why not make it a little more official?"

*switches the outdoor tv on and with a stoic face, utters something into the tv remote turning on a channel previously unknown to us. A person appears on screen in DCS uniform in a security camera room kind of place *

"yo Harambe-! "says Mr Choube before getting interrupted by the man on screen.

"Hmmm,*cough cough* I get the gist of it,so batch 1 and 2 are going to face off against the sea eel or whatever? Well that'd be entertaining.... and probably the last time they could have such a face off since, once you are an official knight, you can no longer interrupt each other on your missions! "said Mr Harambe with a really forced Britanian accent and without any of us having to say anything.

" Damn, he really is something! " Sai starts, with a real look of appreciation

Although he is one of the people who work in the investigations department and anomaly lookout so it isn't too surprising, but it still caught me off guard on how accurately he could say things.. Guess that's what it takes to be an ebony Knight….. " Sai is the medical genius of our group. He and me are probably closest of friends as we grew up with each other, him also an orphan like me. He is also the smartest of our bunch so I could feel that if he appreciates something, it defenitly means something is good.

"Mr Harambe, when did you switch from our TV to theirs?" Hanba from batch two asks with the most dead expression on his face.. Though that's his face all the tim-!

"ehhh!! That means he already knew you guys were on a hunt for a raccoon and didn't actually connect any dots in his mind and come to the conclusion!!? That's not cool at all!!"

"damn use less words if you are surprised Sai! and also where the hell did a raccoon come from! It ain't even a sea creature, I mean I know it ain't easy thinking of long sea creatures, but at least make it look like an attempt, the monster of Nesse would've sounded better! "Chi Le exclaimed, frustrated from Sai's trashy humour, also Sai is now depressed and it would probably take him 5 more minutes to recover.

"...... "

There was some silence as everyone noticed the tension in the air, which wasn't too difficult to notice as Chi Le was staring to my soul right through my eyes, I had to break the tension of this weird situation somehow...

" Yo Chi, wassgood, where you been til-"

" shut up, I don't want to talk to you, you didn't even come see me, even though I played no hand in throwing you overboard"

"I would've If I had time!! Also I know you got some stupid reason for why you are so down today-"

"ERHMM!" exclaimed Mr Choube, letting his presence be known, and bring our attention to the matter at hand.

"well anyways, glad you caught on without much explaining"

"never mind that, but to make things more interesting why don't we make the person to neutralize the serpent gets a, let's just say, an acknowledgement of sorts maybe, hmmm, yea I've decided, the one to deal the final blow on the snake would get two dishes of their choice and the rest of the batch a dinner with one dish of their choice, that's either on me or Mr Choube's tabs, how that sound? "*cough cough*

" hahaha, nah, it's just Mr Harambe paying. I am broke"

*everyone glares*

"... ehh, screw it, alright! if my batch wins, I pay, and if yours wins you pay, cool? "

" oye! Have some more confidence in us" we said in unison and decided it's going to be the opposite way and the losing team buys the winning team

"Alright bois, wish you the best to find the snake, hehe" said a smug Abella, though she definitely didn't mean a single thing she said and was confident that she was going to be the one to kill the snake.

"Alright, let's all meet at the island of sights, after we catch the snake" declared Mr Choube as the 2nd batch left in their massive ride goinf west of our position.

We start putting on our Ebony gears and get ready to catch a fish, Mr Choube gets ready to steer the yacht and switches his DC radio tech, RDC, and let's Sai take over. Sai has his way to work with Doraku tech, so he was the best person to do this.

All geared up, damn does thid boost confidence.... Ohh yea, I have to talk to that person..... Now where is she-, ahh there you are!

"Hey!...... I know I will regret this.. But why have you been so low early today

I caught you starin' and stuff which was kind of weird, did u maybe wanna take a look at me being all wet and stuff.... I wouldn't blame ya, these abs could melt anyone"

"haha nice try, I was just peeping cause I couldn't resist to see you act like a monkey, but that aside, Kenye East was supposed to drop an album yesterday after delaying it for 1 month and he still hasn't dropped" Chi said in a desolate tone as she flaunts her dark hairs with a shade of green

"Anyways I am no longer bothered by it since he does this all the time" she said as she gave me a slight smile before closing her eyes for a second and walkin away.

"MOOOOOOOooohhhhhhhhhh"

"Was that a Leviathan's cry??" Sin asked in a excited tone

"yes, but it is nowhere close to us... it feels like it is extremely close to where batch two is though! " Sai affirmed everyone's thoughts

"damn are they going to get credits for bagging a Leviathan now!!?" a pissed of Uthpal Ilais said, and we all shared the sentiment, because it is relatively easy to get a Leviathan to surrender as compared to the clout it holds, being an gentle endangered creature, It is the perfect animal to bring to safety if you are trying to make a name for yourself, two or three good attacks on it's massive body and it would be a dolphin to handl-

Breaking the water surface tension, the sea serpent got out of the water to our right, approaching us fast. From my guess it is around 20ft or 6 meters tall, almost as big as our entire yacht vertically.

We were ready for it, to go at it on any second's notice.

Sin jumps at it before any of us can, shooting a grapple hook right and jumps fast towards it. Although he made it to the body he couldn't get a good foothold as his feet sank into it and was constantly slipping.

"Arr this will make it!"

Turning his hand guard into a sharp pointy edged spear, Sin Skewers right trough the creatures tail creating an excellent grip and lots more.

In pain and rage the snake turns around going in for a kill letting

Unfortunately for the snake, letting its guard down against us was a mistake.

Hanna, without any second thoughts seized and smashed it's head with a hammer formed from her leg guard! All of us know the snake felt that.

It was now time for the finishing blow.

Turning our hand guards into blades, Me and Karan go in for the Abdomen.

As we are about to finish it off, Hanna turns her arm guard into a hook and pulls the beasts torso out after it submerged thanks to her blow, which broke our good footing and now we have to recentre ourselves

"Aaagghh"

Pushing open the mouth of the beast, the crazy bitch gets into it and starts her gear expansion, pushing it's jaws to the absolute limit and she is making it go ahead and cross that limit

Sin, knowing the tail can't kill, jumps on the opportunity, litreally, as he hooks the throat and gets a Kata from his second arm guard ready to slice the snake's doomed throat.

"......"

The snake was barbecue ready but we let it sink and got back on our yacht because we weren't too high on reptile meat. Our faces were covered in it's green blood but it didn't bother us since it was just another day for the DC corps. Rather we were more excited on who would get the name for dealing the final blow

"Hey Dre, what's up with stealing my move and spot!!?"

"hehe, I just thought you wouldn't be able to cut it alone"

"huh what was that!? I was the one who killed it, ain't that right Mr Harambe??"

"I am sorry guys I am ken, Mr Harambe's assistant, he had to switch up with me, I told him not to eat pineapple with Pizza but who listens to their junior, well now he paid the price, haha, he is in the toilet, probably sick right now…

Ohh yea, about who killed that snake….

I am sorry we probably switched the exact time you guys finished up, hehe"

"EHHHHHhhhh!?

How could he do this to us, it was a test of our strengths for us!? And who the heck eats pizza with pineapples, that's wrong! And why'd you have to resonate with our timing, you had one job!" shouts a frustrated Hanah and us matching her energy, the rest of our class didn't care for two meals in a dinner so they just ignored us four

Being able to do nothing we just had a good laugh joined by Mr Choube who was having a blast while driving…

" Mooooohhhhhh"

"what, that's the Leviathan again, did batch two mess up??? Guess it's our lucky day then!" said Kdot turning his arm guard to a hammer and having a nasty smile on, "the clout points we'd get in the academy would be immense."

This time everyone on board were interested since Leviathan's were not that much of a common sight even to us.

Everyone was ready, the sun shining on our Black suits bringing out it's brilliance and our energy filling the air.

Ilais turns his arm gear into binoculars to better affirm the speed and size of the creature.

As Uthpal puts his arm down, before he could turn the binoculars back to guards, I snatched them, to get a better look at the exotic creature myself.

Blood

shades of crimson red covered the leviathans sharp grey horns.

It's whale like body had blood stains all over

A mid section with one leg still attached is on the tip of its right horn.

Turning my sight a bit lower, I could see the broken deck of the 2nd batch's yacht stuck in the cheeky fat at the edge of the mouth.

Stuck close to its nose with their ebony gear as a blade piercing the monster's nose was just the remains of the upper body of Hanba.

Utpal fell behind me..

and probably the only reason I was able to snatch the binoculars from him was because he was already shocked by what he had seen.

With an intimidating sound, the beast slowly opens its mouth....

I could say I am seeing hell because I never want to see it again. Stuck in its teeth was Abella who was choked to death in that small clearing.

Andrew was trying to free her with a lost leg and he probably can no longer think enough to consciously agree that she has already died, his eyes were dead.

"AA-ANDREEWWW!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as loud as I could! Trying any possible way that I could make him hear the slightest sound of hope

With a broken, stale smile and unstoppable tears he looks at me and closes his eyes. we no longer needed binoculars to see,everyone saw first hand as Andrew and Abella get shredded as they pass through the leviathan's first digestive pipe.

"kids! Hold on!!!"

Mr Choube kicks the pedal and gets us to max speed, although he just heard me scream Andrew, he could pretty much visualize what might have happened and took action accordingly.

The man on the screen looks all flustered

"Hey kids! What happened? I am trying to reach the second batch's yacht, but it seems unreachable and since you called out Andrew, does that mean they are with you??..... Come on answer me-"

"they've… They've fallen…. Th-The Leviathan put them down" said Sin who got back his composure to a certain level to cope with the situation at hand.

Mr Harambe was also now visible on the screen and had probably heard what we all spoke of

The man on the screen replied on disbelief

"The leviathan!? How is that even possible they aren't strong enoug-"

*CHOMP**SPLAAAAASHHHH*

sinking his teeth into Ken, Mr Harambe ferociously bites off a part of his neck, then separates his toso and his head. The camera was covered in red and a few more people entered the room, walking in lifelessly before our feed got cut off.
