Chapter 6 Date/Mission

Jack and Mirajane were by a train about to board on their way to the mission.

Mirajane: So the mission is to kill a wyvern and take the egg it has been guarding for experimentation to this group who asked for it. Killing the Wyvern is 500,000 jewels and the egg is 700,000 jewels. Almost seems like they want the egg more than the Wyvern dead. Which is weird since the Wyvern is the one terrorizing the nearby city.

Mirajane does not seem as cheery as she does at the guild.

Jack: Hey Mirajane you can go back to the guild if you want. I just wanted to spend more time with the cute girl at the front desk.

Jack said this with a smile of sincerity. Mirajane was thinking it over.

Jack: You don't even have to fight I can take care of it. I heard that there are some reasons why you don't and we don't have to get into them right now but just know it wasn't your fault. Also if you ever happen to lose control know I can take care of it.

Mirajane: Thanks Jack and don't worry I will still go with you. As for the other stuff maybe we can talk about it later.

Jack: Yeah whenever you want to also thanks your going to make this next part so much easier.

Mirajane: What part?

Jack didn't answer he just smiled as they the train started to pull in. They both enter and the picked a little booth with a door. They both got in and Mirajane shut the door. They both sat across from each other.

In Jacks head: Man I wonder how bad this motion sickness is going to be. I probably should have wished for it to not be a thing for me but I didn't think about it at the time.

The train started to move. At first everything was normal. But then it happened Jack started to feel extremely sick. He had to lay down this motion sickness was so bad he didn't know how Natsu put up with it. He was rushed by it an passed out. Mirajane was very concerned for him she went to check him right away and saw he was knocked out but still alive at least.

Mirajane: I wondered what happened. Oh he is a dragon slayer Natsu told me about how bad his motion sickness is but I didn't think it was this bad. Well at least he passed out I guess. He actually looks cute right now.

The train reached the destination. Jack had finally woke up. When he woke up he felt his head was on something soft he looked up and saw Mirajanes face above him smiling. He realized he was using her as a pillow. The famous lap pillow Jack was so excited.

Jack: Hey I guess I passed out. But this is a great way to wake.

Jack said this with a smile and Mirajane blushed at his comment and looked away.

Jack: Well I guess we should get going to the town and look for an inn to stay at.

Mirajane just nodded. Jack got off of her and they both exited the train.

They made their way to the closest inn. They were currently at Hargeon town. Hargeon town is actually a port town south of Magnolia Town. They started to look around for an inn to stay the night. They would do this and then they planned to look for the person who sent out the bounty.

They got to the inn and went to the front desk to get two rooms.

Mirajane: Hi can we get two rooms please?

Inn owner: Sorry we currently only have one room available right now. However that room does have separate beds.

Mirajane was a little nervous about it but where else could they go. Jack was pumped at first but then when he heard separate beds he got a little sad.

Mirajane: That should be fine. Here you go.

Mirajane hands him money. Then the owner hands her the key.
