14 Dark Rebirth and Supreme Evolution

"You are not a nobody," Nell cupped her cheeks with his hands which were now all healed, and wiped away her tears.

"Now, you are Ember Starlight, my wife, the one and only woman who has the right to rule over me." He continued, and his shirt's sleeves were stained with his own dried blood, however, there were no wounds on his body or the scars left by the injuries.

Because, after defeating the King Dark Zombie, Nellas had used a recovery potion on his wounds.

He had opened the system's inventory and taken out the bottle of potion, then, he dropped some droplets of the healing liquid on his injuries and, the moment it made contact with his wounds, they began to heal.

His cuts, his bruises, his fractures, and even his broken bones, all of them, were healed in a matter of seconds.

Of course, Nell was aware of the fact that his healing process was faster than most of the high-ranked Heroes, and because of it, the potion was able to instantly restore him.

Even the fatigue he felt after using the skills was completely gone.

After recovering, Nell, who was still in the middle of the cave, walked out of the place.

And after getting out of the restaurant Nell bumped into Ember, who was running towards him.

"Eh?" Ember, who was standing close to Nellas, didn't know how to respond, his words were too good to be true, and it sounded like a dream to her.

However, it was all true, and it was not a dream.

The words were spoken with his conviction, and they carried a heavy weight.

Nell didn't have the time to continue his proposal as the sound of a system's notification rang out in his mind, interrupting their conversation.

Simultaneously, two blue holographic screens appeared in front of him and Ember, showing different messages to each individual.

You are no longer single now, you are in a relationship!]

The system's message was straightforward and it made Nell a little embarrassed.

'A relationship... huh,'

He had always been a loner and never had any friends, nor did he ever had a girlfriend.

This was the first time he had ever been in a relationship.

However, before Nell could even begin to think about it, another window popped up, displaying a new message.

[The skill 'Dark Rebirth' has been unlocked.]

This was the message Nell had been waiting for.

[All of your powers, skills, and abilities have also been unlocked.]

After reading the words, a broad grin appeared on Nell's face.

'Finally,'

His powers, they had been unlocked, and he could feel them coursing through his veins.

It was as if a dam had burst inside of him, and a flood of dark energy was rushing forth, filling every inch of his body with strength.

Nell closed his eyes, letting the darkness wash over him, and feeling the power coursing through his veins.

Then, as soon as the system's windows vanished, another one took their place.

All of your powers, skills, and abilities except for 'Dark Rebirth' are now accessible to your wife.

She now has the authority to access all of the system's functions and use them as she sees fit.]

'Huh? What is this?'

Nell was stunned, he didn't expect this to happen. It was completely unexpected.

The system had just announced that Ember, who had not long ago become his wife, had now gained access to all of his powers, and she had also been granted 25% ownership of the system.

He was shocked but, he didn't feel any anger or jealousy.

'Well, this is a surprise,'

'So, she can now use the system...'

'She can use the skill too...'

A series of thoughts popped up in Nell's mind.

'It's fine,'

'It's better this way,'

'At least, now, I won't have to worry about her.'

He didn't mind it, if anything, it was for the better.

He was already going to make her wife strong so that she could protect herself, and the fact that she had gained a part of his system was only going to help her.

'She is my wife,'

'My life-partner, and my other half,'

'She deserves everything I have,'

He was all good with it, and he was okay with the arrangement.

However, a second later, a new screen appeared which made his eyes widen in surprise and his mouth agape.

The moment he saw the text on the screen, he was taken aback.

And, the Supremacy Monster bloodline was something he had never heard before, and it was something he didn't even know existed.

'What the hell is happening?' He questioned in his mind and a second later, his ears caught Ember's gasp.

"Wha-"

The moment he turned his gaze toward Ember, he saw that a cloud of black smoke had enveloped her, and her body was glowing with a soft, yet, intense light.

"E-Ember!" Nell called out to her, as a wave of concern washed over him and he grabbed her shoulders.

"N-Nell..." Ember stammered, "T-this... There is something floating in front of me." She said, pointing in front of her face.
