Chapter 7: They deserved death

"Don't blame me for your death."

Luis heard Vincent words and he knew he was in for a real fight but right now, he didn't care. Throwing out every rationality inside him, his eyes turned red and his nails grew long and sharper. His aura blazed out blood lust and his killing intent was directed towards Vincent.

Seeing Luis transformation, it made Vincent have a satisfied smile on his face. Cracking his neck left and right, his nails and teeth elongated too. "Now we can start the..." He was saying but before he could finish his sentence, Luis had already rushed towards him ready to deliver an attack.

Slightly stepping back to escape being hit, he felt the pressure of the attack. He knew that if he doesn't become serious, he might get badly injured and that was the least thing he wanted now.

Despite escaping that one attack, he still had more to evade as Luis kept on throwing punches and kicks towards him.

"Are you too weak to attack?" Luis yelled. He was frustrated that all his attacks were not having an effect and this made his blood boil in more eagerness.

"Do you really want to die brother?" Vincent asked calmly despite the situation.

"Don't call me that... I stopped being your brother the day you killed our parents." Luis said and threw his fist towards Vincent which Vincent stopped with his hand. Seeing his one hand was held, he used his other hand to deliver a blow but Vincent held it in place again.

Staring into Luis eyes, Vincent saw the hatred and anger but yet he was unbothered. "They're also my parents and they deserved it."

Hearing Vincent words, Luis laughed like a lunatic. He was trying to suppress the pain he was feeling and the tears he was holding back. "They deserved death? Why? You were mother's favourite so why?" Yelling on top of his voice, "Why did you kill them?"

"You heard me... They deserved it." Vincent said in a stoic expression. His voice was dry and plain and he wasn't ready to sympathize with Luis or give any reason.

Understanding that he wouldn't get any valid reason from Vincent, Luis let his blood lust consume him and instantly he nodded Vincent with his head and released himself from his grip. His speed increased than earlier and before Vincent could initiate a defense, he charged towards him and landed a blow on his chest.

Vincent felt Luis fist on his chest and he winced in pain as he closed his eyes again for a brief moment before opening it to absorb the pain.

"You've grew up so much. I guess only defending would be useless." He was enjoying the fight but right now getting careless would do him no good. It was time to get serious.

If Luis was fast then he was four times faster, if Luis blow could cause deep wounds then his could caused death. Without wasting any second after his last word, he charged towards Luis and in one strike, he reduced the pressure on his fist and landed a blow on Luis neck.

That one attack made Luis stagger to the back. He didn't expect that attack and even though his eyes was on Vincent all this time, he never saw him coming. He was in pain but because of his clouded anger, he didn't pay mind to the pain.

"You think that one hit will get me on my knees? Don't underestimate me..." Before Luis could finish his words, he started coughing. Raising his hand to cover his mouth as he coughed, it was then he noticed he was coughing out blood— his own blood.

Confusion stroke him as he tried to ask why he was coughing out blood but nothing came out of his mouth. "What did you do to me?" He wanted to speak again but no words were coming out.

Seeing the confused expression on Luis face, Vincent couldn't help but smirk. He had aim is attack on Luis neck, targeting only one spot in his inter organ, his alveolus, making him unable to speak and feel the pain from within. He had no plans to Kill Luis and this was the only way he could keep him silent.

"Don't try to hurt yourself... You won't be able to speak for a long time." Rubbing his forehead lightly like he was thinking, "Ah! Yes, even your fast healing won't help you on time." Vincent said as he started walking slowly towards Luis.

The anger and killing intent Luis felt earlier was replaced by pain, and as he saw Vincent approaching him, it turned to fear. Fear for the monster in human shape and he stepped back.

"Don't you want to kill me anymore? Are you tired of running your mouth? Where is the hatred and anger I saw earlier?" Vincent shouted and this time he was already near Luis. Sending a kick towards Luis, Luis staggered and fell on his knees.

Moving forward, Vincent grabbed Luis neck and looked into his eyes. This time the fear was shining brightly in them and a satisfied smile formed on his lips. "Where was the strength I saw earlier? Show me... Show me that you're not a coward, bring it on." He yelled and crouched down beside Luis. Whispering in his ear, "You're nothing but a coward... You, father, mother, sister... All of you are cowards."

"You wanted to know what led to mother and father's death right? Then I'll tell you... They were cowards who couldn't protect their selves. They were blinded with protecting people and forgot to see they were hunted..." Pausing for a few seconds, "That's what led to their death. I'll give you an advice if you don't want to end up like them. Don't come after me again... Just hate me like you've always did... Despise me but if you have any opportunity to kill me then don't waste it."

After he finished saying those words, Vincent released Luis neck and stood up. Glancing at him once more, his appearance returned back to normal and he turned around and started walking towards his car.
