The Dragon Palace

Chapter 7

"What a very pretty girl?" said the Dragons who are present aside from the Four Great General of the Dragon Clan and the Oldman Geo.

"Ahem….little girl would you like to become my granddaughter?" asked the wise old man.

All those dragons who heard the old man felt like vomiting blood when they heard what he said.

"Hey old man, what are you trying to say?" Kei Ko asked angrily.

Flaira was stunned with what she heard. The old man in front of her is in human form but when you look at his eyes you will know that he is a dragon a golden dragon to be exact because of the remaining scales in his hands.

"I asked her to call me grandpa, Are you deaf Kei Ko?" answered the old man with irritation.

Kei Ko felt like his blood is starting to boil because of irritation.

"Hey Oldman this little girl is mine. I found her first, why are you deciding for her?" Kei Ko answered the Oldman.

"Hey! brat, what are you planning on doing with this little girl?" the Oldman asked while looking at Kei Ko with disgust on his face "Don't tell me you are planning something outrageous to her. You're still too young and yours is too small to even think about it" said the Oldman straightforwardly without even thinking.

Kei Ko flushed with anger "What did you say? You shameless Oldman! Are you asking for a beating?" said Kei Ko aggressively but Lee Jin and Lei Ru stopped him on time.

"Kei Ko relax Oldman Gao didn't mean it" said Lee Jin.

"Old Gao we will leave the little human girl with you first. Then let's talk next time of what would be the best decision on what to do with her" said Ki Sha.

"Ok but let her stay with me for the mean time. I don't trust you all when it comes to her safety" said the Oldman.

The four dragons that brought her flew away already leaving only her and the Oldman. Even those who are just looking for gossip- kind of dragons are also gone.

"So little girl would you like to come to this grandpa's place?" asked the sweet Oldman.

"Ok" Flaira answered cautiously.

In the woods…..

The shadow guard decided to follow the four dragons who took his mistress away in the Dragon Palace. He used his contracted Dragon whom he hid for a long time to go into the Dragon Palace.

"It's been a long time since you summon me? What request would you like me to do to you?" asked the huge Black dragon in front of the shadow guard.

"Please, can you help to bring me to the Dagon Palace?" asked the shadow guard.

The Black dragon was stunned "What are you going to do in that place?" it asked.

"I want to get my mistress there" said the shadow guard.

"Elves are forbidden to go in that territory. You will just get you're self-killed" said the Black dragon.

"But I need to do it. My mission is to protect her. She is the only hope of our kind to survive" said the shadow guard to the Black dragon.

The dragon sighs first before it decides. "Ok for the last time I will help you in going to that place" said the black dragon.

"Thank you!" said the shadow guard.

"Are you sure you want to use your last wish by helping your mistress?" said the Black dragon.

"Yes" the shadow guard said confidently.

"Ok, after this we are actually even for saving my life" said the Black dragon.

"Yes, you are free to return to your kind" said the shadow guard.

"Ok, consider it done" replied the Black dragon.

"Thank you!" said the shadow guard.

The black dragon let him climbed on his back and then flew away to the Dragon Palace.

"This is my home" said the Old man to Flaira.

After the four dragons left the Old man asked Flaira to stay in his house temporarily before they return her to where she came from.

The house of the Old man is beautiful like a typical mansion's of humans. There are also servants and all of them are dragons in human form. When they get into the dining area, the Old man tells them to bring food.

Flaira was amaze when she looks at the different delicious food on the table. She thought dragons have different tastes when it comes to food.

"Why are you helping me? I am just an insignificant human and you are a noble dragon?" Flaira asked the Old man.

The Old man smiled kindly at her "I can feel that you are not a bad person" the Old man replied.

Flaira didn't respond and just look at him. Her stomach growl loudly. The Old man sees something that she is hugging.

"What is that in your arms?" asked the Old man while looking at the ball of black robe in her arms.

Flaira covered the sleeping white cub with the black cloth. Flaira get another chair beside her and put it, and then she removes the black robe covering the White Dragon cub.

The old man is amaze of what he sees. A small white dragon cub is comfortably sleeping.

"I saw him being bullied by other dragon cubs. They beat him to death and I kind of pity him. That is why I save him" said Flaira.

The Old man looks at the white dragon cub that is sleeping soundly.

"You can eat whatever you like don't be shy" said the Old man.

Flaira eats well enough.

"You can stay here as long as you like. By the way care to tell me what happened why you are in the woods of the dragon territory. How about your family? " asked the Old man.

"My family….are killed by the beings living in this world" said Flaira coldly.

The Old man was stunned of what he heard.

"Are you sure?" said the Old man.

"Yes, that is why I am here" Flaira said.

The Old man sigh do you remember those who harmed your family are" the old man said.

"Yes" Flaira answered.

The old man felt that the little girl is not willing to share about what happened to his family.

"Then if you are done eating you can take a rest" said the old man to Flaira "Give her room to rest with" he said to his servant.

The servant woman in her forties led her to her room. "This will be your room my lady" said the servant to her.

The room is spacious and having a western style decoration. Most of the things present in the room are expensive things.

"You can take a bath first and you can look for clothes in the ward robe" said the servant "if you want anything don't hesitate to ask just call me or any servant for what you need" she added.

"Ok thank you" said Flaira formally.

"You're welcome my lady" replied the servant before she left.

Flaira look at the entire room and open the closet and the wardrobe. There she sees a lot of beautiful clothes that only rich and noble people can have. At her hairdressing table is a box of jewelries and a bunch of cosmetics. All the things that a girl needs can be seen in the room.

Flaira takes a bath first and change her clothes. She wears a simple pink dress. She can't see simple t-shirt and pants.

Then she lies down on the bed and fell asleep. While the white dragon covered by the black robe opened its eyes.

"Where am I?" the white Dragon cub mumble to himself and look at its surroundings. All he could remember is when the five dragon cub beat him. He stops his eyes on the woman sleeping beside him. "Did she save me?" he said to himself.

The white dragon cub transformed into his human form. He turned to a beautiful human boy with blue eyes. He lies down beside the sleeping woman and fell asleep also.

When Flaira wake up she felt something heavy in her stomach. When she looks down she sees a beautiful boy sleeping beside her while hugging her. She is stunned for a moment and removes the boy's hand. She looks for the dragon that is covered by the black robe on the sofa. But to her surprise she can't find the dragon there. Based on her experience on the dragon's ability the child sleeping beside her could be the dragon she save. Dragon's can change its form similar to humans. Only its eyes remain the same.

Flaira takes a bath and change into the robe she see in the wardrobe. She is not familiar with this kind of clothes.

After she finished preparing herself the sleeping boy wakes up. Flaira is mesmerized with the boy's cuteness.

"Hello sister! Are you the one who helped me yesterday?" asked the boy.
