Meet the Dragon King

Chapter 10

"Thank you grandpa Gao for treating me well even if you know the truth about me" Flaira said with a smile.

"Young lady I am not someone who didn't honor his own words. When I tell you that I want to adopt you I am really serious with it" said the old man while smiling warmly. "But, are you sure you really want to go in the Elven Kingdom? Going on a journey in that place is extremely dangerous" he added.

"I don't have a choice. My mother needs the herbal medicine that can only be found in that place. I don't want to give up on my mother, she is the only family I have left now" Flaira said seriously. "Don't worry Old man Gao we won't let you in danger with our presence here. I will just fulfill my promise to you to help up until after the Foundation Celebration. Then we are going to leave" she added.

Old man Gao sigh in disbelief "This young lady really think for herself as invincible. Going to one of the most dangerous Kingdom in their world. What a big guts this kid have" he said to himself.

"Now now let's all sleep it's in the middle of the night. We have task to do for tomorrow. You can stay here in my place as long as you like" said the Old man.

Flaira look at the sleeping little White Dragon on her bed. Rei Jin didn't even woke up even if there is a commotion happened inside the room. He is extremely exhausted for the rest of the day.

"What a useless youngling" said Old man Gao while looking at Rei Jin.

Flaira just smile at the Old man's comment to the dragon cub.

The Old man returned to his room to sleep but he alerted all his servants and soldiers to their surroundings. Now that he knows the identity of the little girl he took to his home is not simple.

"Dark Elves' of all the kingdom the little girl would belong to. Why is it she belong to that particular kind? Literally not a good beings" the Old man mumble to himself.

In the morning the Old man still bring Flaira and Rei Jin in the Dragon Palace.

"Young lady the Dragon King wants to meet you. I need to bring you to him first before you continue your task in helping me for the upcoming celebration" said the Old man to the two.

"Ok grandpa Gao" Flaira replied politely.

"What could be the Dragon King look like" she said to herself. She imagined an old man with white hair and white beard full of wrinkles wearing a crown. She forgot the description made by the four Great Dragon General last time before she was brought in the Dragon Kingdom. Speaking of the four Dragon she didn't see them ever since the old man brought them to his place.

"We are here, compose yourself and prepare to meet the King. Remember be careful in meeting with him he is not someone to be messed with" the old man remind the two.

"Don't worry grandpa Gao. I'll keep that in mind" Flaira replied while Rei Jin is silent.

On their way to the Palace a guard guide them to the Imperial throne. The three of them kneel while waiting for the Dragon King to arrive.

In the Dragon King's Chamber....

"Your majesty, Old Gao is here asking for audience with you. He is not alone, he had a human woman and a dragon male cub with him" said the messenger in the Dragon king's Palace.

"Hmmmm….tell them to wait for me there" replied the Dragon King. He just wake up and currently preparing for the meeting regarding the upcoming celebration. He is almost done on dressing up. He is wearing a Royal Blue robe with different gem decoration while his chest is exposed. He looks dignified, sexy and alluring with his clothes.

Flaira felt her knee is aching already same as to Rei Jin. But Rei Jin is really afraid to the Dragon King so he didn't complain a little bit. After kneeling for almost thirty minutes the guard shouted" The King has arrived" he said.

"Good day! To you my King" said the old man politely before he stands. "By the way this is the young lady I am telling you yesterday. Her name is Flaira Sugimoto and these is one is a white dragon cub she saves, he is Rei Jin" the old man added.

"It's an honor to meet you" Flaira and Rei Jin said while still kneeling.

"Lift your head and show me your face. I want to see how human in other realms look like" said the Dragon King seriously.

Flaira was stunned when she heard the Dragon King's voice. "The voice seems younger than what I expect" she said to herself.

Flaira and Rei Jin look at the Dragon King. Rei Jin although he is a Dragon but he didn't know what the Dragon King looks like. He is just a beggar living in the street before she met Flaira so just like Flaira this is the first time he see the face of the Dragon King. Both of them were stunned when they see him.

What they see is an extremely handsome man sitting elegantly at the throne. His hair is blonde and his eyes were golden but sharp. His clothes gives an air of allure and sexiness. His Royal blue robe is very suited to him exposing his wide chest.

"What a very handsome man! In her world this man can be called as a hot guy, whom many women admire" Flaira said to herself.

But Rei Jin shuddered when he saw the Dragon King, it's an innate nature of their kind to feel inferior to those who are much more powerful than them.

On the other hand the Dragon king felt shocked when he saw the face of the woman in front of him. Of all the woman he met, the woman's beauty in front of him stand out the most. She gives a different kind of allure. Although her black hair and black eye color is common but he still could feel a strong charm on the woman's beauty. The same charm that only Elves' possess but no matter what he thinks of it. The woman in front of him is a human.

"You seem very ordinary" said the Dragon King seriously.

Flaira didn't react on what he said and just remain silent.

"My King I hope you let her stay here up until the Kingdom's celebration and allow her to help in the preparation" said the old man.

"Old Gao, I'll grant your request but make sure not to let them be the cause of a ruckus here in the Palace" said the Dragon King indifferently.

"No problem my King. I assure you she is a good person" replied the Old man.

"How about that kid why is he with the human woman?" asked the king.

"My King, Flaira saved him so he stays with her wherever she is" replied the old man. "I hope you could allow that also" he added.

"So her name is Flaira, a unique name not suited for a mere human" the Dragon king said. "No problem as long as he will not hinder the work of others" he added.

"For a mere human not to be attracted to my physical looks. Hmmmm ….. I admire her strong will to maintain her composure while looking at me" the Dragon King said to himself.

"Can we excuse ourselves now my King?" asked the old man. "We still have a lot of things to do for the preparation" he added.

"You may leave" replied the Dragon King.

In the Dark Elves' Kingdom.....

"My Queen we already killed all the people living in the village that you tell us" said the Captain of the Army.

The Dark Elf Queen Hisha is sitting in the couch of her room while in front of her is the Captain of the Army kneeling in front of her. She is wearing a very revealing gown which accentuated her curves.

"Well done! You can get your reward as I have promised" said the Elf Queen. "Guards give him two chest of gold and one chest of gold for each soldier who accompanied him" she added.

"But my Queen almost all the elite soldiers died" replied the Captain.

The Queen was stunned. "What! How can that be possible?" she said.

"They fight back to us" said the Captain.

"A mere human in that realm doesn't have any powers based on the information I had" replied the Dark Elf Queen. "But hmmmm…..it doesn't matter now as long as you killed the bitch and the bastard child of my husband. Is that all?" she added.

"Yes my Queen" replied the Captain.

"You are dismissed" said the Dark Elf Queen.

"Thank you! Your majesty" replied the Captain before he stand and turn away.
