Taking someone from the Heavenly Marks Family, Divine Family wants to do what Part 1

Shen Yue looked over the people that came over from the Heavenly Marks Family. An Elder and two of the younger members that helped the clan. But the most important was the young child with them.

Himself, Huyan Lanruo, and Duan Jian walked out to greet them. Shen Yue was dressed up as Liang Yu which only helped to serve the heresy that a strange master was working behind the Dark Moon Family. It was just another method to weed out dissenters and those he could trust in the place.

His cultivation at the Legend Rank inkled out. Huyan Lanruo was happy she was friends with him and learning from him along with Shen Xiu. Duan Jian already knew he was at the Legend Realm and would not tell Sikong Hongyue.

"I have gained a lot of in my travels and read even more, if you allow her to train under me, I assure you, she will become a powerful Cultivator. As well as a happy one." Shen Yue said neutrally. Disguised voice as Liang Yu caused his people to take a double look at him. They thought him a powerful old cultivator. Which made the matters even easier. 'I mean I am old so.. it kind of fits.'

"The matter of the payment goes a long way." Nie En said. He was a pretty intimidating man but not overall powerful. Just a Fighter class with no real extraordinary skill. Those of the Relm as him could be killed but any above would kill him. "Ms.Huyan stated we will not lose her to you but just a Disciple Master relationship."

"The Physique of Heavenly Marks, is within little Nie Yu. To not use it would be a waste and to exploit it would be even worse." Shen Yue place a mark in the middle of her forehead. Protection as well as the Star Martial God Technique full method. In an instant, she broke through to the Bronze Realm Rank 1. Her cultivation was completely stable as he circulated it for her. "How do you feel?"

"Fantastic!" Nie Yu shouted bright eye and bushy-tailed. The already enthusiastic child had even more energy. With the shouting of her elders, the girl quickly paid respect. "Nie Yu thanks master!"

"Hahaha, nonsense. You are still a child so you should enjoy child-like things. As long as you promise to practice every day for a little bit and treat others fairly, I will never have a problem. OK?"

"Yes!" Nie Yu nodded. She received some robes that would clean themselves as well as adjust to match her size. On the back was the symbol of the Dark Moon Family with the Modern Medical symbol on it. "What do these bracelets do?"

"Allow you to contact me if you are ever in danger. As well as if you need to talk." Shen Yue stated. His voice turning stern a little. "Never remove them as they are also meant to protect your life against those who are jealous."

"We will make sure to guard her as best as possible." Nie En said stepping forward.

"With you strength.. that is impossible." Shen Yue shook his head and flipped over his palm revealing three pieces of Vortex Glass. "This is for each of you. However, they come with a price. It will give me a measure of control over you in case you betray Nie Yu or myself. Family is not an overall guarantee that something will not go wrong."

Nie Xiaori, Nie Xiaofeng, and Nie En took them after thinking it over a little bit. The power and pure Soul Force inside was something they couldn't pass up.

"Nie Yu sit in the middle of the three and I will pass a method over to you that way they can help you understand matters if I am not available. As well as letting you find them if need be." She listened intently as Shen Yue recited a mantra. It took her less than a minute to do so. "Good not active the Array."

"Right!" Nie Yu spread her energy out slowly. Making sure not to mess up. Her three family members doing the same thing as her. As a Connection formed between them and Shen Yue, their Soul Realm linked to one another. "Eh!?"

THe bodies of the three started to heat up. The bloodline of the Heavenly Marks Family was stirred some. Not strong enough to awake to the level of her own but high enough to give them a better state of cultivation.

The Vortex Glass dissolved and entered each of them. The pure Soul Force washing their bodies over. Nie Xiaori felt his Silver Realm Rank 1 change further. His Soul Realm taking a quality change. It expanded and would be able to house Demon Spirit now.

His brother Nie Xiaofeng felt his cultivation Rank drop, as well as his Demon Spirit, get devoured. It was to weak for his current Soul Realm to tolerate. He back at Silver Realm Rank 1 with a stronger force altogether. His Soul Realm expanded much more than his brothers did.

Nie En who was at the Gold Realm Rank 3 dropped all the way into the Silver Realm Rank 1. The drop made his hard struggle to reached that level through the years worth it. Several problems in his body were taken care of. He even looked younger.

"I dropped in Soul Force but I feel stronger and much healthier." Nie En said the moment they finished. Nie Yu looked a little worried. "Don't worry Yuer, I feel much better and I think I can become even stronger."

"And this is Demon Spirit for you. And these two Vortex Horses are for you. They have a bit of a special quality to them." Shen Yue passed over the Snow Wind Great Ape Core he picked up from the treasury. The expedition group had obtained quite a haul while securing the area. "With the years of training as a Fighter, this will suit you more."

"Thank you." Nie En almost came to tears. He never thought he would live long enough to become a Demon Spirtlist with his aptitude and the clan resources going to the younger generation who showed talent. Even with the changes, Nie Li brought to the clan it was not enough still. "I will make sure to never forget this!"

"Us as well!" Nie Xiaofeng and Nie Xiaroi said together. The moment they touched the Vortex Horses, the beasts entered them. They would not act as Demon Spirits fully but allowed them to integrate and use them as such. "What rank are they?"

"THe Vortex Horses Legend Rank and the Snow Wind Great Ape.." Shen Yue vanished on the spot into lightning. His voice training in the air. "..hopefully, you all find out."

After a few more discussions they departed to return back home. Huyan Lanruo excused herself. The moment she was out of sight, Duan Jian asked him the next move.

"Master, the proceedings of the integration are going along well. The fact you pulled so many trees over makes those in Sikong Family happy." Duan Jian was glad things went ok which gave him more time to think matters over with his situation and the family altogether. "My grandfather on my father's side is still alive. I would like to confront him. But fear I do not have the overall strength to do so."

"Then train. Trust me, fights are coming soon. No matter what we do to suppress or stop, human nature will find away." Shen Yue changed his clothes as they walked. "Chen Linjian.. most likely will cause an issue and then we also have Ye Hong who will cause one but not on purpose."

"Should we not take care of the situation ahead of time?"

"No. We need their actions to validate us to the public as well to those in the Dark Mon Family that need their eyes open." Shen Yue moved to the market district in the rea. With those from the Subsidiary Realm working and living life the place was busy. The guards well trained taking care of disputes easily enough. "Hardships helps with growth along with an education of course. But that does not mean no one is watching their actions."

"So even allies are under scrutiny?"

"No one is above suspicion. Even myself." Shen Yue paid for some fruit and passed half over to Duan Jian. "To keep an organization in check and causing to many issues it is needed. Now my strength is vast but I am no invincible. If thousands band to stop me then I defintely need to evaluate what I am doing."

Shen Xiu was moving over to them pretty fast. Some papers in her hand.

"What if those thousands by your viewpoint after you evaluate?" Duan Jian had a pretty good idea of the answer but felt the need to ask anyway.

"Well.. guess it sucks that they died but they should to solace in dying for what they believed in." Shen Yue shugged. Shen Xiu right in front of him stopping him. "What is it now?"

"The City Lord requests a meeting. As well as that of several other Families and Aristocrats." Shen Xiu did not like this. Mainly because she could picture a few people dying I the process if it goes badly. "The meeting is in an hour."

"We can continue this talk later Duan Jian." He nodded and went off to work. "I will go to the meeting with the Officers Three, you take charge here in case things go bad."

"Shouldn't I come with?"

"No. Shen Hong will most likely be there. Can't have him influencing you in any way. A few have stated matters with the Sacred Family have changed for the worse. I doubt you are helping them on purpose now but something is going on." Shen Yue walked off ignoring her protests. "I SAID YOU ARE STAYING!" His voice boomed in the entire compound. "I will not repeat myself."

Shen Xiu stepped back angry. Not that he shouted at her but because he was right. Shen Hong had sent her a letter asking for help in some matters. In a moment of weakness, she agreed to do so.

This compromised her position as a leader of the Dark Moon Family. Punishment was dealt out of course in paying fees and removing some duties to be handled by others.

*Fwoosh!* The Officers Three arrived and fell in step with Shen Yue. They left the gate to head towards the City Lords Mansion. Quite a few stops made along the way to speak with a few members of the Alchemy Association and the Winged Dragon Family contact.

Meeting at the City Lord's Mansion-

The number of families present were plentiful. Both the big families and the Noble families under them. Ye Ziyun, Nie Li, Ye Hong, and the current patriarch of the Heavenly Marks Family, Nie Hai were in the section of seats by the Snow Wind Family.

The Alchemy Association and a few others close to them were in attendence.

Xiao Ninger, Xiao Yunfeng the former Patriarch of the family, Du Ze, Lu Piao, Wei Nan, Zhu Xiangjun, and Zhang Ming were in another section. Some of the classmates having risen enough to have their families moved up to the Aristocratic family level. By the looks of it, they were under the ever-growing influence of the Winged Dragon Family.

The Divine Family had Chen Linjian, Chen Zhenling, and Chen Fei. WIth Chen Linjian having elevated himself thanks to the expedition in the old ruins as well as his recent outing with Shen Yue's group.

The Sacred Family had Shen Fei, Shen Hong, Shen Ning, and Shen Yan were present for them. With a few guards waiting outside the room. More then the others brought with them.

The Huyan Family had Huyan Lanruo, her father Huyan Xiong, and a few miscellaneous elders present. After them, it went downhill the importance of who else mattered that were present.

"I called this meeting to discuss matters in regards to the safety of Glory City." The City Lord announced. "By deepening ties between the families and brokering an end to old feuds and new ones. As well as to announce several new Aristocratic Families. A proposal brought forth by the Divine Family to help start those matters off."

"My son, Chen Linjian has recently brought great wealth to many families as well as a few others." Chen Zhenlong announced. His yellow hair and eyes looked quite funny to Shen Yue. "We would like to offer a marriage proposal to the Dark Moon Family."

The room turned quiet for a bit. Shen Yue was barely paying attention as he was checking everyone out. But the mention of marriage and the Dark Moon Family in the same sentence caught his interest.
