The fateful day (rewrote partially)

BOOM!

CRACK! "Run quick get a bucket of warm water and a towel!" Said a pudgy old maid. You could see the worry on her face but still has enough self control to order everyone into position. "The lords mistress is giving birth get to work and send someone to notify the lord."

"Yes ma'am!" Said a young maid. she looks flustered and inexperienced but as she readies herself with a worried face as she runs to go call the lord.

Seeing the carriage the young girl runs through the rain and makes it inside but still gets drenched in rain. "Surprisingly the carriage driver didn't say anything as I told him where to take me."

Thought the young maid.

After a few minutes of deep anxiety, the carriage driver reached her destination. The young maid hopped out and ran to the main clan building. After a few strides in the rain, the young maid knocks on the main gate.

A old man opens the door who looked like he was melting. His clothes busting at the seems and even when he started to talk what looked like black gas's flowed out of his mouth. This wasn't the first time the young maid interacted with the head butler so she just quickly told him the secrets code the mistress taught her and ran by the head butler.

Finally makes it to the lords room. She straightens her back and does exactly six knocks which signify the lords sixth mistress.

Behind the door the lord was sitting with a beautiful young women laying across his body. The lord was focusing and chanting in a language that has been lost for many millenniums. A obscure pink fog was slowly flowing out of the woman. In the air the pink energy gathered together into a pink fog and continued to grow bigger and bigger.

Until all of a sudden BOOM! An explosion happened. Not your typical explosions but instead an energy explosion. It happens but very rarely and it signifies one of two things. The completion of a treasure or the deviation of Qi.

After finishing her knocks the young maid hears the explosion of energy. Shaking with yet another worry now the young maid intrudes into the room without the lords permission. Yelling "My lord! Are you o-"

Seeing the rude maid rushing in the lords pulls out the new sword he finished refining and made a gentle ark with the blade. Setting his sword down the lord calls for two guards "send the young lady on the bed to the barracks and this one." He looked down at the maid and thought for a second. Then decided on something to himself. "You can leave this one here."

"Who sent you and what do you want?" Says the lord in a calm but frank tone.

The young maid answered just as fast as he asked. "The sixth misstress is giving birth I was sent to call you because the child is giving off deep red energy and you know what that means." Said the young maid. With a stone cold face.

Even though something so ominous was just told to him. The lord couldn't keep in his happiness. For the righteous path sects and clans, a child born with red profound energy would either be killed or crippled. That's not the case for the demonic path. People with red profound energy could cultivate any demonic technique and not suffer from Qi deviation. That is if they don't die early.

The lord quickly sent spirit energy to the girls soul and fixed her ego. "This being a happy occasion I'll let this one slip up pass. It better not happen again." The lord grabbed the maids left arm and quickly flew them both the the sixth mistresses mansion. He quickly pushes through all his servants running around and walks to the sixth mistresses room.

Right as the lord enters the room. Crack! A bright red lightning bolt cracks down from the heavens and strikes the just delivered baby. Running forward the lord just barely late. Screams "My child!" The lord as he rushes forward catching the child. He quickly looks over the child for any injuries but instead what he finds makes him almost drop the child.

The little baby is covered in blood red armor like scales. The scales are continuously pulsating receding under the skin then popping out. What really made the lord scared was the small blue horns growing out the babies head. As the lord held him the child started to struggle and accidentally pricked the lord with his horns.

Instead of feel pain something magical happened to the lord. The horn that just entered the lords skin fuzed with his body and started to suck up the blood, Qi and spirit energy out of the lords body. Screaming the lord tried to detach the child but it just brought him more pain. "Someone come kill this child he's taking my essence blood and Qi."

After a few minutes of nothing changing the lord the servants rush forward. Then an ominous glow covers the lords eyes as he said. "No one is touching my baby if he wants my energy I'll let him take it. Anyone that tries to hurt him is dead."
