The Hallucinations

I fell through the darkness eventually landing in a pool of water. it was dark that I could not see my own hand in front of my face. I remembered the only basic gesture the nuns taught us as I closed my thumbs and fingers and a light formed in my palm.

I should have stayed in darkness as I was not in water, I was in blood that explained the heavy smell of iron in the air. I seen a door in the distance. Slowly I started to waddle through the blood which was up to my waist.

In the corner of my eye I could see shadowy figures, then screams. Each step towards the door caused the screams to be louder by the time I reached the door handle it felt like my eardrums would explode. I grab the lever and pushed it upwards with all my strength *click*. It slightly open as I squeezed through and into a barely lit corridor.

There was two of the goblin servants and they just looked at me, then at each other spoke in an unrecognisable langue as they pulled out two small swords and charged at men. Quickly I pulled the door I came from wide open. The blood empty onto the corridor floor, I opened my palm and the blood turn to a wave and washed the tiny goblins away.

I walked until finally I found a stairs. I took it as high as I can go. This corridor I recognised the décor I must be in the main part of the castle I thought as I walked past familiar suits of armour. I passed the spot where I feel through the wall, then my heart shank I heard screams it sounded like Hailey.

I rushed to the source which lead me to the main staircase with maroon carpet and oak railings. The scream came again, it was coming from quickly running up two steps at a time I rushed to find Hailey. The moment my foot touched the top floor the blonde vampire blew a cloud of smoke.

"poison no work tut tut" she started to laugh "this will make you better ja" she laughed even more as the room went all colours of the rainbow.

I felt myself failing again. This time I landed on something soft, I opened my eyes the sun was shining, and I was lying in a Wheatfield. A ridiculously cute retriever fur as gold as the sun came over two me and lick my face rapidly. I pat it in return "who's a good dog" he barked happily and wagged his tail. The dog ran back through the wheat field then stopped and bark.

It wants me to follow it, I thought to myself as I brushed of my breaches and followed. The golden retriever led me to a beautiful farmhouse with a big barn. The dog disappeared and in front of me was a woman standing churning butter his back towards me. I knew it was Hailey as the sun shone on her hair making it look very blonde.

I called her name, but she did not turn around. Hailey, I said less enthusiastically as I approached her. She stopped churning as the sun went down "why were you late" Hailey said whimpering her beautiful brow-blonde hair was fully black now, blood started to run down her eyes as she leaped onto me. Two large fangs appeared from her mouth.

I tried to shake her off but could not. then I felt as if I was being pushed. I opened my eyes again and I was in a room that I have not been in a long time, it was the shared bedroom of the orphanage. Was it all a dream I wondered to myself as Jim my only friend was standing by my bed "keep up Nak you lazy shit"? I forgot how annoying Jim he was sometimes was smaller than me even though he was a month older than me, with blue eyes and big ears kind of like the goblins.

I told Jim what happened as we were on the way of the choosing. "see I told you should have read that horror book before lights out" Jim exclaimed as we enter the chamber of choosing. In the middle of the room the stone of choosing was there intact.

"Nak you will go first" the head nun shouted 

With nervous glee I placed my hand on the stone, and my heart went down through the floor the stone shattered again. I fell back onto the floor all my peers were gone and the twelve nuns were all now faceless. They all slowly approached me.

"you doomed us"

"we are all going to die"

"get him "

They all said together as the lunged at me however I rose to my fee and ran to the door of the chamber. The walls were pulsing, and I felt like I was going to be sick, but the nuns were catching up to me. I ran and ran until my legs gave up on me. The head nun gripped my throat and snapped my neck.

I awoke and was laying on the spot were the blonde vampire breathed that cloud onto me, dazed and confused I walked along the corridor in which I heard Hailey's scream. It was quiet, my heart lurched in fear as there was a trail of blood leading to the end of the corridor.

With my heart beating faster and faster as I came up to the end of the trail, I took a deep breath and walked into the room. I t was the worst thing I have ever seen Hailey was laying on the bed, in a pool of her own blood. I held her in my arms tears pouring like a waterfall but still the room was silent.

I noticed that there was four pairs of bite marks, the pain was unbearable I couldn't think of anything like my whole world had just ended.my pocket glowed, I looked down and grabbed the glowing object it was the resurrection potion that Akikio gave me. I uncorked the top and slowly brought it to Hailey bule lips.

Surly this wont work but it must as my tears dripped onto Hailey's cheek. I wiped the tear of her cold face, each time it was getting warmer. I thought to myself it was just the heat from my hand but to my amazement her wounds were closing, joy washed over me as colour returned to her face.

Her beautiful ocean eyes opened. "it's a trap" she said quickly but it was to late a sword went right through me as I felt myself being lifted and thrown to the corner. "Someone wants to meet you" Taven said sinisterly.

"what about the girl can we turn her" said a female voice 

"no, her mother wants to deal with her" he said as they dragged Hailey by her long hair as her screams faded so did I.
