Snitch

Time passed and Joel didn't come out. The manager kept going out and in to the VIP room till the guests left. Every one turned to Manuel as the manager leaves to her office. They all gathered at the bar with an exemption of Joel. " What's up with Connie guys no one head from her and Ali won't say anything too." Manuel said with complete concern. Zoe and Koel turned to Ali .

" She's sick. "

" Oh ! That ain't good." Manuel said

"What's wrong with her ? Is she the hospital or home ." Zoe asked.

" She's at home ." Ali replied.

" Let's check on her tomorrow then." Koel finally said and the others agreed except Ali who did have any more to say .

They cleaned up as the chef's came in to start their round. The manager had asked them to come late . The place became lively again as customers filled the restaurant. " Hey Ali , where is Joel I need his help ." Koel asked with lists of orders in his hands.

"Don't know . Saw entering the VIP with a paper though ask Manuel." He said .

When the place started getting quiet Ali sat at a corner. He received a reply from his brother and quickly head to the control room. He copied everything in the system to his phone and went down . It all went well till the manager called for him. Alis' heart began to race fast . He kept his phone in his pocket and climbed the stairs to her office . He knocked . " come in . ". He head her say before opening the door gently.

She sat on her table with her legs crossed . " Lock the door " She told him and he turned to lock it . She removed her jacket and slowly walked to him . Now what he thought. " What are you doing tonight" she asked pushing him down to sit on a seat . She slowly unbutton her shirt and bent letting him see through the opening of her top. He let out the panick breath he was holding inside him. She wants him . He smiled . How long did she keep him waiting for this. He thought of his brother and his business and decided it wasn't time. She touched the back of his ear and tried to sit in his legs but he stopped her.

" I have a sick mom at him Lisa. Wish I can do this now but ....." He quickly stood up before she makes him change his mind. He could see the disappointment in her eyes . She wasn't expecting him to say no. " How about another time please in your place." Her face lighted up and he walked out. Business is Business. A game is a game . He needs to play his cards well. He cleared every recording of him going to the control room and went back to work.

His colleagues were cleaning up except Koel and Joel. The twins were something he thought. Koel rushed to him. " Bro haven't seen my bro yet. Searched everywhere and he ain't here. Manuel said he didn't go out of that door man. ..... " Ali looked at him confuse . He didn't see Joel leave too .

" Have you called him. " Zoe asked . She walked to their direction and turned to Ali. " Where have you been? "

" The manager called on me and I answered . " He was getting tired of everyone and everything happening around him. He took and deep breath and exhale quietly . Koel was dialling his brothers line . They head it ring for a while and stopped. He dialled again and it wasn't connecting anymore He kept trying . " Let me try it. " Ali took his phone from his pocket and dialled but it was saying switched off. Koel froze. He sat on the stairs near Ali foot .

" He never leaves with out me man." Koel said with sadness in his eyes as his started to dial another number . Some one picked up and they exchanged words in a foreign language before saying "bye" . Koel hit his legs on the floor multiple times with irritation in his eyes.

" So ? " Zoe asked.

" He ain't home and his girl hasn't heard from him.

" Now what ? " Zoe spoke again and Ali sat with Koel.

" I think we should talk to the manager she might have sent him on errands or something cause she was with him in the VIP room.... " Manuel hadn't finished and the manager walked out of her office slowly like she had time in her hands with her jacket on her left hand and phone in the other. She had redone her make up and adjusted her skirt down as it wasn't as short as it while she was with Ali.

The four pairs of eyes were fixed on her and she knew but won't look at them . She knew what they wanted. At least she felt wanted and important not horrible like Ali left her. She swayed her hip making Koel gulped hard and Zoe saw it and hissed within her. Lisa is a crazy woman she thought within her.

" What are you guys still doing here ? Ali can you help me with my car , it's at the parking lot. Ali hurriedly went to get the car. Now facing the other three .

Manuel kept looking at Ali as he walked away. He really fear the woman . She seems to always have everything in control. Even all of them were under her. When he first got the job he thought she was fascinating but after his experience with her, he doesn't think that anymore. He only hopes Ali and the others doesn't fall for her charm because they don't lead to the right road.

" Now what can I do for you ? . " Koel was about to talk same as Zoe but the manager started again looking straight at Koel . " By the way Koel , can you tell Joel to help me with the electric stuff in my office and Zoe There will be changes in the shift from next week and you might have to be covering just day . " She said before walking to the exit door.

" Madam Lisa " . Manuel called . She did not turn . " Anything for me ".?

" Lock up."

"We can't find Joel . " Zoe said.

" Then find him ." Lisa said and left.

"What the hell was that ? She just walk away. What was all that?" Zoe was ranting in rage. She turned to Koel who looked like he just swallowed a frog.
