Chapter 12+update

Hello everyone, first of all, I want to thank every one of you out there, the ones that commented, left reviews, send power stones, add my story to the collection, and even the ones that read the story even if it is one chapter.

You see at first when I published this fanfic I was only expecting a handful of readers like 10 or 15 and maybe someone commenting that this shit won't work but again all my expectations blew up as I'm writing this right now we have more than 60k views and more than 250 people that add the story to their collection, until now I'm still shocked by this number.

Not to mention the feedback and the support even the people that didn't like the idea gave the reasoning behind it and I'm thankful for it, and there are even people who pointed out the mistakes I did when writing and suggested better ways to improve it and let me say it again I'm very thankful for you all.

Now to the main point, I apologize as it is almost 2 weeks since I last uploaded and that wasn't planned but you just never know when life hit you.

I did catch a common cold but I was only sick for 3 days and I didn't write anything at that time as I was waiting for any suggestions from you to add to the story when I started writing again I did Write a few chapters ahead but as always I didn't post them as I may change and tweak things in the next chapters let's say to leave a bit of freedom when writing but there was one mistake I did you see.

I had quite a problem with my internet as it was not stable so I chose to just open a Word and write there offline it was all fine at first but Windows needed an update and that was the problem it didn't update correctly(because of the internet problem again) and made lose some new files and the story was one of them I was like (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻.

I didn't try to recover to be honest as it was too much work and I can simply just write the chapters again, and I'm glad I did that as the new chapters came out way better than the ones that I lost.

I apologize again for the late release and I will try to make them frequent but enough of me talking I will leave you with the new chapters

I went back to Orario and ignored the mess I caused and started locating the other 7 spots for the array, by the time I was done it was already the next morning of the next day it was not easy to find a spot where no people will go to and hard to damage at the same time thankfully I'm done finding it, the 9th spot is on top of babel tower I will work there when Freya is out.

For now, I will start the first part of the plan is the array making, well it's securing both energy and money sources first, why and how am I going to do it? well we are talking about saving more than 30 thousand people here the amount of energy needed is not something to joke about, as well as the money after all I'm getting most of the materials from the shop and I'm already expecting to make a lot of errors that will cost me money even though I stocked up a lot of it, the array I'm working on is a humongous one covering the whole city the resources that it is going to consume is no joke.

The perfect place to get both of these is the dungeon but the question is how I can't go and do it myself, the time I have is already tight enough and I can't afford to waste time in getting materials and leaving the array-making in the hold.

I thought about it a lot and I came up with an easy solution which is in the form of an array.

But setting up a killing array is hard enough not to mention that dungeon needs people presents to spawn monsters so I will have to set it on the upper or the middle floor for it to be efficient but this is where the problems come from, where am I supposed to hide it and even if I did, you think it's normal to see monster randomly killed in front of you?.

I kept thinking about it until I remembered something about the dungeon and I was sure it will solve all my problems, so I went to the dungeon and started going down, I was going to phase through the walls but I felt resistance from them when I tried to do it, I didn't want to piss the dungeon off so I just followed the path down thankfully the monsters are not reacting to me.

Upper floor, Middle floor, Lower floor, and Deep floor the 37 I started going around looking for something and I finally did and it was the same as it was described I spent 4 days in the dungeon to find this and without my ghost ability it would have taken way longer but let me tell it was 100% worth it.

The place I found is called the Colosseum it's the largest room on the floor in which monsters constantly fight each other, the room spawns monsters non-stop until a certain amount is reached, which is quickly replenished each time it decreases, being an unlimited supply of monsters exactly what I'm looking for.

I only need to set up 3 arrays here, one to collect the magic stone/item drops and store them in a space pocket and one to convert the magic stone into energy to supply the arrays, and the last one is a simple illusion to hide the array how easy is that, I can even sell these drop items and magic stones for money in the shop although I would get more money if I sold it in the guild why should I risk it again.

I immediately started working on the array here as the more magic stones I have the less I have to worry about it, it took me a whole day to make the design now I only need to engrave it.

At first, everything was going fine but then I noticed that some symbols were getting destroyed because of the strong intensity of these monsters fighting, I tried to engrave some underneath the floor but the dungeon destroyed it I thought for a while, but then I started setting it up in the ceiling although it's going to consume more energy to pick up the items it's better than having it destroyed and needing to come to repair it now and then.

When I started making this array it was only for picking up magic stones and items but then I stopped and thought about it for a bit because I set up this one in the ceiling I will not have enough space to make the energy converter array.

So I decided to combine them with the illusion one as well so this array does 3 jobs at the same time although it was hard to do it was worth it, it took me a whole month to do it thankfully it was working fine.

I started by only taking 20% of the items on the floor to see how the dungeon would react to this I gave it a full day to see what it does of course I didn't waste the day as I was making a Lacrima to store the energy I'm getting in a special space pocket, as well as the ability to transfer energy from one another using this space pocket.

I kept increasing the rate every day until it hit 100% and the dungeon didn't even react to it, well that's fine with me as both my energy and money problems are solved, I can use the item drops alone to fund most of the array cost, oh yeah I change some stuff in the illusion part of the array now it shows the items in the floor even though they have been picked of course they slowly disappear on time.

I finished my Job at the dungeon it took almost 2 months I need to start with the arrays across Orario, I made a small portable concealing array that hide any magic activities at a certain distance so I can work without worrying about alerting anyone.

I teleported to one of the points I marked it doesn't matter which one I start with as they are all technically the same except the one on top of Babel it has the commanding array there, I started working as soon as I got there, there are no activities near this place so I worked without getting bothered.

It took me almost 2 months to complete just one it's more than I thought but thankfully I only need to make the same one for the rest of the points so it's just copying work I don't have to test it or modify it.

It took 2 weeks for each spot to finish now I only need to add the commanding array on top of this existing array and like them all together, there is something worth mentioning while I was working Freya returned to her room before her usual time which scared the crap out of me but it looks like she didn't notice me.

Of course, at first, I thought she was just playing with me so I tested her and increased the intensity of my soul she didn't even react one bit it looks like my ghost ability truly makes me a ghost even for the gods, though I doubt it would work if they had their power back, Oh and if you are wondering why I'm still fine even while seeing the Goddess of love, well I don't know I find myself indifferent when it's related to something sexual or just related to women and don't you even dare think about I'm gay.

I don't really know the reason but then again I'm 6 years old close to 7 it's not the age that I'm attracted to this stuff so I will let the future me worry about this.

Anyway back to the topic I can focus fully on the commanding array knowing that I won't get Freya's attention, but even with it it still took me 3 months to finish it.

After I was done I just concealed everything up and teleported to one of the cities I visited before and booked a room in one of the Inns and went to sleep, even if I wasn't tired physically I was mentally even with the help of pills it still barely bearable and not to mention I was working on everything for more than 8 months straight without getting a wink of sleep, I told the Inn owner to not bother me If I don't wake up the whole day as I have food and water with me thankfully he only cared about money so he was convinced easily, I went to bed when I closed my eyes I was out.

When I opened them again I felt new even though I felt it was a short sleep it still made me recover a lot, when I asked the Innkeeper he told me I was out for the whole week, damn and I thought it was only a day or two I need to get back to Orario.

I paid the Innkeeper for the days I stayed then went out of the city and teleported to Orario I started setting up the power sources of each array so they can work and went to configure the commanding array, for now, I set so it worked for the mouse I went to the Slums and got one.

I'm sorry little one but this is for the greater good I killed the mouse and he turned to light and disappeared out of my hand and when I checked the space pocket I found him there sleeping I took him out and put him down in the floor and after waiting for a couple of seconds he woke up and started running away.

It worked but I realized a fatal error on my part, isn't it weird for people to disappear after dying? thankfully I found out early and even more as the solution to it is easier.

There is an Item in the shop that can replace people specifically dead people it will be in the same position they got killed in as they will get scanned and it will mimic the body 100% even if it had lost limps it will mimic the same injury and it can last a whole month after use then turn into ash, I only need to add them to the space pocket and configure the array to use them to replace dead people, I tested it again on another mouse I found and this time when I killed him he was still in my hand and had the same injure I did to kill him and even the blood is still running, when I checked the space pocket again he was sleeping there when I got him out he woke up shortly after and run away like the other one while I still had his dead replica in my hands.

Now I only need to fill the space pocket with these mimics although they aren't expensive I'm buying around 100 thousand of them, isn't it too much you ask?

Yes, it is, but don't forget that there are Evilus members that are dying too I can't configure the array to tell them apart because even I can't, sure the iconic robes that tell them apart from the rest, it is indeed one sign but there a lot that are hiding between adventurers so it's easier to just revive them as well and just kill them because they can't do anything while they are asleep in the space pocket.

I started selling the drop items in the shop and started buying the mimics and throwing them in the space pocket it was slow as I was doing it manually but I found I can buy it in bulk.

I opened the space pocket a bit wider and flew above it and started buying in bulk and throwing them down it took me only a couple of hours to be done.

I can see that it ate a lot of my money but that's fine as I can simply wait and sell the item drops again so I'm not that worried about it.

Now I'm officially done with phase 1 of the plan it took me almost 9 months to finish it all, but I can finally start going with the second phase.
