Chapter 3

[Pov Kinshi]

It's been 2 weeks since the incident at the fertility hostess, now there was a rumor going around about me and Rika that the Loki Family had a demon in their ranks....That's some kind of shit, I mean I'm only 10 and even if the guy Rika killed turned out to be a level 3 , it was only thanks to luck.... He didn't know Rika existed, so we were able to kill him thanks to the element of surprise. 

I've also avoided all members of the Loki family and have not appeared in front of anyone except Loki so she can update my status. I'm currently at level 2, so I've beaten Ais's record of 1 year and 2 months, I've also started staying longer in the dungeon since I copied an ability that a level 1 adventurer had, it's called Cursed Speech, which allows me to infuse my words with magical energy to increase the spirit of my commands, forcing all who hear them to obey. What's really incredible is that it works on those at my level or one level lower, otherwise using it on a higher level could render me mute. Otherwise, my day is the same.... I wake up and prepare food for the dungeon and stay there until I run out of food, then update my stats before going back with food, I've been doing this every day for 2 weeks. 

I'm currently resurfacing after reaching floor 17 solo, which is incredible for a level 2 adventurer as most would have gone in a group to avoid dying. I've also mastered Crush Magic, which I can only use on the weakest monsters in the dungeon. Otherwise, I'm forced to destroy everything around me to be able to use Crush Magic on stronger monsters.

When I reached the surface, I looked around and saw that it was daylight, so I quickly put on my hood to hide my face. As I walked along, I noticed that many adventurers were whispering to each other as they watched the Loki family run toward the Twillight Mansion. 

"Excuse me," I asked, looking at the duo. 

"U.... Uh, yeah," the man replied, looking at me quizzically. 

"What's going on with the Loki family?" I looked at them from under my hood. 

"You don't know," the man began, looking me up and down, "I'd say you just got out of the dungeon ... Well, the Loki family was attacked today, we don't know by whom, but their whole manor was destroyed and the executive of the family couldn't do anything," the man explained, turning to look at the Loki family adventurers who were running. 

Hearing this, I headed straight for the manor without the adventurer noticing.

[Fin Pov Kinshi]

"But..." "He's gone," the man said, shrugging his shoulders. 

On the roofs of the houses, we can see Kinshi jumping onto each house. 

"Rika...." Kinshi shouted as she continued to run. 

"Yes Kinshi," Rika replied with a monstrous voice. 

"Throw me in the direction of the mansion....., preferably the room where the executives meet," Kinshi said before jumping. 

As she jumped, Rika grabbed Kinshi's waist, spun around and threw Kinshi in the direction of the mansion before disappearing. 

Kinshi, now in the air, slowly approached the window behind Finn's desk in the executive meeting room. 

In the Twillight Mansion, in a room where the executives of the Loki family were sitting with wounds on their bodies, Kinshi said 

"SHIT..... who was that guy?" said Loki angrily, "He came to attack us and then disappeared, leaving a letter with disgusting handwriting," she continued.

"Ahhhh we don't have any information on him, it's .....," Finn sighed as he spoke. 

"It's like he didn't exist... he had no presence magic or Falna," Riveria continued, looking at the papers in front of her. 

"He had no smell either..." Bete said angrily. 

Swich' heard a noise and everyone looked towards the only window in the room with their hands on their weapons.

They saw a person wearing a long black coat and a hood to hide his face.

Seeing this suspicious person, everyone drew their weapons ready for battle, but Loki, seeing this person, sat back in his chair and sighed. 

"It's you..." Loki began, leaving all the executives with a puzzled look on their faces. 

The figure nodded before stepping down from the windowsill and removing his hood. 

"Kinshi, you've come at just the right time," Loki finished.

Everyone looked at Kinshi with certain emotions that he paid no attention to. 

"Tch just a weakling," Bete said before returning to his seat.

Kinshi didn't answer and turned to Loki. 

"What happened?" asked Kinshi. 

"A bastard attacked us," Loki replied angrily. 

"At least he left a building," Kinshi said, shrugging his shoulders as everyone watched. 

"Ahhhh... What does he look like?" asked Kinshi, sighing as he took off his coat. 

"He's a tall, muscular man with not-too-long black hair that reaches down to his ears and neck. He has blue eyes, thin black eyebrows, and a scar on the right side of his mouth just at the edge of his lips," Rivera said, looking at Kinshi, who had stopped moving. 

"A scar on the right side of her mouth?" asked Kinshi, looking at Riveria to see if he had heard correctly. 

When Riveria shook her head, Kinshi's eyes widened and he looked in Finn's direction. 

"Who fought her?" asked Kinshi in a serious tone.

"Everyone, although Ais fought her more than the others..." Finn didn't have time to finish because Kinshi was already in front of Ais. 

Kinshi then began to touch Ais while inspecting her body, and after a few seconds, he stopped. 

"Phew, you're all right," Kinshi said to a puzzled look from everyone else and a little blush on Ais's face. 

"How do you know him?" asked Finn. 

"Yes... at least I think I do," Kinshi replied, narrowing her eyes in thought. 

"Is there anything that would make you sure about this person?" asked Gareth. 

"Yes, the person I suspect always leaves a piece of paper behind..." said Kinshi, thinking.

 "You mean this incomprehensible paper," Loki said, holding out a piece of paper. 

Kinshi quickly took it before reading it. After a few minutes of waiting, Kinshi lowered his head with a somber expression. 

"So who's the guy who attacked us?" asked Loki. 

There was a few seconds of silence before Kinshi answered 

"Toji..... Toji Fushiguro," Kinshi replied, looking down at the paper in his hands. 

"Toji....I've never heard of him," Riveria said, thinking. 

"That's normal, nobody knows his name, the only thing people know about him is that he's nicknamed the new King of Mercenaries," Kinshi said. 

Hearing this nickname, everyone except Ais widened their eyes.

"Why would someone so well-known attack us?" asked Loki angrily. 

"He's a mercenary, so it's not him who's after us, it's someone else who's paying him to attack us," Riveria explained, earning a nod from everyone. 

"That's not the main question here ....., but how do you know her first name when everyone else only knows her nickname Kinshi?" asked Finn. 

"..." Kinshi didn't answer and continued to stare at the paper before he raised his head to look at everyone. 

"Toji Fushiguro.... The new King of Mercenaries..... is my master," Kinshi said. 

Hearing this, everyone looked at him in shock. 

"Then why is he attacking us?" asked Riveria in shock. 

"Well... we have a good relationship... but the day he took me as a disciple, the first thing he told me was that one day he'd come for me to fight..." Kinshi explained. 

"A fight? "Finn asked, feeling his thumb twitch. 

"Yes, a fight ..... to the death," Kinshi said seriously. 

"Why are you his student?" asked Loki. 

"Toji.... isn't like the others, he took me as a pupil with one goal in mind ..... a fight against the strongest, he always told me I was the most talented person he'd ever seen .... so he trained me with one goal in mind, to become the strongest so he could fight him," Kinshi explained seriously.

"But why not fight Ottar, the strongest adventurer in Otario?" said Tiona. 

Everyone looked at Kinshi. 

"I'm not sure... but I think it's because of my ability..." Kinshi said under the puzzled gaze of everyone except Loki "I have an ability that allows me to copy the abilities of others..." at that moment, the eyes of all the executives widened "I don't know how he knew because I didn't have Falna before, but I think he suspected it..." Kinshi breathed before getting his coat and putting it on. 

"What are you doing?" asked Damanda Finn. 

Kinshi looked at him for a few seconds before turning to climb up onto the window. 

"I'm going to keep my promise..... on the papers, it says he'll be back in 5 months to fight me .... but he'll only fight me if I reach level 5 otherwise he'll kill every last member of the Loki family starting with ....," Kinshi said before pointing at Ai's "you".

".... Me," Ais asked, making Kinshi nod. 

"I know what you're thinking ... what's the difference if I'm the one fighting him when a group of level 4, 5 and 6 couldn't defeat him .... and I don't know what else but on this paper it says so I'll just do what he says ... as for why I killed Ais first I have no idea," Kinshi finished explaining.

Everyone looked at him with different emotions before looking at Ais who walked towards Kinshi, arriving in front of him Ais hugged him which made Kinshi's eyes glaze over. 

Stepping back after hugging him, Ais spoke 

"Good luck..... I trust you..... Kinshi," Ais said with a smile on his face that confused the others. 

"I'm going to the dungeon.....," Kinshi said quickly before jumping out of the window. 

Everyone looked at the window with a small smile before looking at Ais, whose head was tilted to the side. 

"Why did he leave ... so quickly?" asked Ais confused. 

"Ahhhh.... come on, I'm going to learn all about human relationships," Riveria said with a sigh as she pulled Ais by her armor. 

"Nooooooooo, but two preferring to be together ..... it's unthinkable," Loki said curling up into a ball. 

"Tch," Bete said as he left the room. 

"Hahahaha" laughed Tiona looking at Bete. 

"Ahhhh what a familia ....." Finn said with a sigh before heading to his office under Tione's loving gaze, which caused a drop of sweat to fall down the back of his head. 

Further away from the half-destroyed Twillight mansion, two people had the same thoughts. 

"Wait for me ... I'm coming," the two people said, "TOJI / KINSHI".
