The Beginning

After his first encounter with Kronos, years had passed since then. His first appearance which was of a 4 year old child, has now become a 12 year old boy.

He has a spiky bright crimson red hair that styles to his left. His eyes with vertical pupils had a blank gaze. His skin is fairly pale. His outfit consists of a turquoise hoodie, light black pants, running shoes with a yellow toe and blue outlines reaching the middle of the black base of the soles.

During the time-frame that had passed, Alex managed his time very well. He occasionally went to the library to study and widen his horizon and understanding in this world he was currently in.

The Labyrinth City, Orario. Where the labyrinth was widely known as the dungeon that were just beneath the city. Unlike when he first came into this world, he wasn't ignorant anymore.

He had read books about Orario, dungeon, monsters in the dungeon, some books about magic, history and many other more that is available to the public. To fill the gaps in his knowledge, Alex persevered in reading the books and he had no qualms on it.

For him, reading books was way better than spending his life in infinite boredom and solitude. Returning from the library, on his way back home, Alex encountered a young teenager who was covered with blood throughout his whole body.

Intrigued on what happened to him, Alex took a look for a while and decided to continue seeing the teenage boy ran straight towards the guild.

The Guild is an organization that manages the familia in Orario and provides services to adventures. They are the government in other words. The entire economy of Orario is based around the guild and all the gods approved and respected them.

Aside from this, the Guild buys magic stones, drop loots and some other things. It also provides new weapons and armors to adventures who just started out or to simply put, they were giving out a starter pack.

One might wonder why he haven't become an adventurer already. Its simple, the guild doesn't allow children to become an adventurer as that was simply sending them to their death which the guild and the people couldn't tolerate.

So instead of recklessly entering the dungeon, Alex followed the rules and didn't forced his way inside the dungeon even he wasn't really a child but only in appearance.

Suddenly, he remembered something he had nearly forgotten.

"Crap! I haven't bought some groceries yet."

Like his butt was on fire, Alex speed up to the marketplace and bought several stuffs. After his shopping spree, his hands were now packed and full, blocking his sight. When it's almost sunset, Alex made his way back towards his home, suddenly he bumped against someone making the stuffs he had bought fell to the ground.

"Ahhh, sorry for that!"

Looking forward, a young teenager with white hair and red eyes offered an apology for bumping into him.

"No problem. It should be my fault for not able to see you."

Alex replied as he picked up the fallen items at the same time.

"Allow me to help you."

Alex didn't tried to stop him and let the teenager help.

"By the way, I'm Bell. Bell Cranel. Nice to meet you."

"Alex, Alex Uchiha. Pleasure to meet you too Bell."

"What a unique name."

Bell commented hearing his name. Instead of using the name Alex Faust that Kronos had given to him, he decided to use the last name of Uchiha as he had a glimpse of Uchiha Itachi's memory so he took the name of Uchiha as he had a gut feeling he might awaken the sharinggan in the near future.

He also thought that Bell looks familiar but he couldn't pinpoint who. It took him a while to remember as he wasn't able to get his characteristics earlier.

"Hmmm...So you're the boy who was covered with blood earlier."

"Ek. How can you tell?"

Bell flinched at the unexpected comment of Alex. Not really caring about his reaction, Alex simply replied.

"You may have washed already but you still reek the smell of blood."

Bell's eyes widened in realization hearing Alex. He then sniffed himself and muttered.

"You're right. I do still have the smell of blood. I had just become an adventurer two weeks ago so I had made a rookie mistake earlier that nearly got me killed."

Bell but nonchalantly spoke but Alex's expression cringed hearing that.

"Man, are you even alright?"

Alex asked in a tone of worried as he had an idea how dangerous the dungeon is. It is a place that shouldn't be underestimated or else, you'll say farewell to your life.

According to the books he had read, the dungeon is seemingly alive, spawning monsters from walls and ceilings and repairing itself on its own.

Gathering the stuffs back, Alex spoke.

"I would like to have a chat a bit longer but I'm in a hurry. Sorry but let's continue this chat if we meet in the future."

"You're right. I still need to go home where my goddess is. Until we meet again."

With that, Bell ran to his destination while waving his hands at Alex who simply smiled for unexpectedly making a friend simply due to an accident.

Moving on, Alex returned his way back to his home. It took a while for him to arrive due to things he was carrying but he still managed to reach his destination. As soon as he entered the door, he heard a voice called out to him.

"It's surprising that you're a bit late on time Alex."

The man with black hair and black-red eyes. He could be described as being a pretty boy. He also wears white trousers along with a black belt and a metal chain.

"I apologize Kronos. I had encountered a little incident which delayed me a bit."

Kronos nodded his head in understanding. He had refused to be called by other names in the past but simply wanted to be called as Kronos without any honorifics which Alex followed. Unlike the other gods in Orario, Kronos didn't form or created his own familia. He said that he wasn't really interested about it and didn't took anyone under his wing except for Alex.

It could be said that only Alex was the member of his unofficial familia. Instead of having adventures and familia, Kronos simply established a small cafe in Orario to have enough sustainment for him and Alex to survive until this day and to not experience hunger.

As the gods who had descended sealed their divine powers, their bodies in the surface functions just like how mortals do. They now needed to eat, sleep and many more.

"Did you have fun today too?"

Kronos asked Alex if the child he took care had enjoyed reading in the library once again.

"Yeah...Today is also fun just like the other days."

Unlike his experience on the endless loneliness and solitude, even he didn't have much to do, everyday was fun to him and he appreciated it very much.

"Hey Alex, don't you want to become an adventurer?"

Kronos inquired a question to Alex which made the kid look at him with an uncertain expression.

"I'm not sure. I don't dislike being an adventurer but I didn't really think much of becoming one."

Kronos chuckled seeing his bewildered expression. Due to the times they had been together, he had noticed that Alex was enthusiastic and appreciated every single thing but was a bit puzzled about becoming an adventurer.

"Now that you had reached the age you'll be allowed to enter the dungeon, I think becoming one might be a good idea you know."

He knew how Alex had worked hard during the past years. He had asked him to teach him every single thing he could from knowledge, combat and many other more while still enjoying the time of his childhood.

"Now that you said about it, becoming one might be a good idea."

Kronos smiled when he heard that. He had treated Alex like his own son and would support every decision he made to the outmost of his capabilities.

"I know you're knowledgeable enough to not underestimate the danger of the dungeon so I won't say much. Let's start making you an adventurer shall we?"

Kronos said with enthusiasm as he was also excited about Alex becoming an adventurer. Going into the room of Alex,

"Lay down and take your shirt off. I'm going to start the ceremony."

Alex nodded and took off his shirt revealing a slender and thin but a sturdy body which shouldn't belong to a child of the age of 12 at all. After taking his shirt off, Alex also took off the weights he had been wearing that is wrapped around the back of his chest.

Kronos sat in Alex's bed while facing the back of Alex. He held Alex's back and started to engrave hieroglyphs, the language of the Gods in his back.

It is a necessary step in a ritual for a god to bestow their divine blessings upon their familia. After a god engraved their symbol, they can activate falna with their divine blood. After completing the ceremony, the familia member will be a level 1 adventurer and will have their status displayed on the back.

The god's grace or simply Falna, is a catalyst. A catalyst to unleash the potential hidden in the mortal's body. As Alex is no longer a god, he had to undergo this process just like the other mortals.

Falna can quantify these potentials in terms of numbers and let the adventurer to slowly unearth them. The systematic value generated by Falna is the stats that includes, basic stats, development abilities, magic and skills.

The level of the adventurer indicates the overall level of their strength.

"Now you're a level 1 adventurer. All you now had to do is to register in the guild to become an official adventurer."

Kronos spoke as he looked at the stats of Alex.
