Chapter 59: Morax vs Phyrne

(Morax: POV)

As we heard the sounds of weapons clashing in the distance we knew our two groups had begun fighting.

When they did so I made the first move.

Rushing forward I delivered several slashes with Vortex Vanquisher at Phryne.

But she easily parried them all using Gorda.

Once she did so I jumped back.

'Just as I thought.' I thought.

She might be an ugly bitch, but her strength is the real deal.

To win this I need to think smarter, otherwise my chastity will be lost in the worst way imaginable.

Which I do not want.

Under any circumstances.

"Boy you really should stop this." Phyrne told me. "Against me you have no chance of victory. Now if you put down your weapon and submit maybe I'll spare your friends, how about it?"

"Fuck off you toad-faced bitch." I told her.

As I did so several veins popped on Phyrne's head.

"I see we're doing this the hard way then." She said. "Fine by me. I like doing it rough sometimes anyway. Makes the experience all the more enjoyable."

Lifting Gorda over her head Phyrne slashed in my direction, sending out a shockwave.

I dodged it. But as soon as I did so she closed the distance and delivered a punch into my gut.

As the air was knocked out of my lungs I flew back into the surface of a nearby tree. Phyrne closing the distance in hardly any time at all.

Pushing myself out of the small hole I made when I landed I rolled the side as Phyrne delivered a punch into the spot in the tree where I just was. A second later it cracked, falling to the ground after it did so.

Seems just like in canon her focus in stats are on strength and endurance.

If I take too many of her attacks head on I'm done for.

Turning away from the tree Phyrne rushed me again. Using Gorda she delivered several slash attacks. Which I managed to block.

But each time I did I felt the weight of the attacks all throughout my entire body.

"That's it, keep struggling!" Phyrne yelled in glee. Continuing her assault.

Ignoring her I stayed focused and looked for an opening.

When I saw it I steadied myself and then thrust Vortex Vanquisher forward, right towards Phyrne's throat.

She slapped my attack away, but the moment she did so I let go of my spear and flipped over her. Delivering a kick straight to her jaw as I did so.

Ignoring the thudding pain in my foot I landed and quickly retrieved my weapon, turning to see Phyrne holding her cheek.

Spitting a bit of blood out of her mouth as she did so.

'Yes.' I thought. This means I can hurt her.

Shaking off my attack Phyne charged in my direction, slashing with Gorda once again.

But this time instead of parrying her blows I dodged them by a hairs breath, until finally I saw another opening and slashed her Phyrne's left wrist. Making a wound and causing blood to fly as I did so.

Fighting her is just like fighting the Goliath.

Going head-to-head as I am now would be crazy. So instead of doing that I'll go for soft spots like her wrists and ankles and wear her down.

"Agh!!!"

Roaring in anger Phyrne charged at me once again.

Darting around I dodged her attacks as best I could, keeping all my wounds to a minimum or as small as possible.

While also getting in several cuts to her neck, wrist, and ankles as I did so.

Eventually I became covered in cuts and bruises, but so did Phyrne.

Bleeding from several points on her body, she is breathing raggedly looking at me with bloodshot eyes.

Deciding to egg her on I smirked in her direction.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. "I thought you were going to put me in my place, or was that shit all just talk?"

"Fuck!!!" Phyne shouted at the top of her lungs.

She then charged at me, but without any form at all.

All according to plan.

While she got closer to me I began chanting.

{Tear the Earth Asunder!}

[Seismic Burst]

Just like earlier I coated the tip of Vortex Vanquisher with vibrational energy.

Then just as I finished doing so Phyrne reached me. Throwing a punch towards my side.

Getting in close I dodged it, but got hit by another punch on my opposite side. Ignoring the pain I thrust Vanquisher forward towards Phyrne's face.

The spear tip making contact with her right eye.

As it did so a burst of blood happened, and the toads right eye exploded.

"Agh!!!!"

Screaming louder than before Phyrne backed off me and moved her hands up to her now destroyed right eye.

As she did so I coughed up a bit of blood. But otherwise stayed on my feet.

Though I'm certain her punch just broke two of my ribs just now. Still when comparing our injuries I'm definitely in the better position.

Now then, time to finish this.

{Ground and soil, heed my command and come forth!]

[Geo Force]

As I cast my spell a magic circle appeared on the ground in front of them. Then right after it did so an earth dragon appeared and then raced towards Phyrne, biting straight into her body as it did so.

She screamed in even more pain but I ignored her.

My earth dragon continued to bite into her, and eventually pinned her into a nearby tree.

As it did so I walked up to her and looked her in her one good eye.

"Listen well bitch. Keep away from me. And keep away from my friends and familia. Otherwise next time your pathetic life is forfeit." I told her in a cold manner.

I then walked away, leaving her pinned to the tree. Ignoring her shouts at me as I did so.

Honestly I could've killed her.

But given the shit Evilus is going to cause in the future I'll keep her around for now. She's almost a first-class adventurer after all. No need to diminish Orario's fighting strength at this criticial time.

However if she attacks me after the shit with Evilus is done for, then her ass is grass.

That's a promise.

Exiting the battlefield I saw the others all safe and sound.

Having secured Phyrne's Amazonian companions.

As I approached my friends smiled, while the amazon's had looks of shocks on their faces.

"No way, that kid beat Phyrne."

"Impossible!"

"There's no way!"

"Ah, to beat her he must be strong."

"Actually now that I get a good look at him he sure is quite handsome."

Ignoring the comments of the amazons I moved to stand in front of them. "Just to be clear your captain isn't dead. But I did take her right eye for the trouble she caused us." I explained. "I know you were only acting on her orders out of fear so because of that you get a one time free pass. However know this. Should you or that now one-eyed toad you call a captain ever fuck with us again, I will show you no mercy. Am I clear?" I said in an ice cold tone.

The Ishtar familia members in front of me nodded.

"Great." I told them, my voice returning to normal. "So give us 30 minutes to leave the area before you collect your captain." I instructed them.

As I did so they nodded.

"Well then, I would say it was a pleasure ladies but then I'd be lying." I told them. I then looked to the others. "Ok, let's head out."

They all nodded.

But as they did so Ryuu came to stand in front of me. Her eyes looking towards the ground.

"Mhm, what's up Ryuu?" I asked her.

But she said nothing.

Instead Ryuu slowly reached up and pulled down her mask.

She then looked up at me.

Then before I knew what was happening Ryuu placed her arms around my neck and leaned up moving our faces close until....

*Chu*

She planted a kiss on my lips.

The moment this happened my mind was filled with the blue exe. screen.

Since I have no idea how to process what is happening right now.

"Oh, to think Ryuu would be so bold." Leonmitchelli said.

"Nice one Ryuu." Millhiore said. Giving her a thumbs up.

"I second that." Ardi added. Also giving a thumbs up.

"To show such passion in the dungeon. Oh, you are so wonderful Ryuu." Ehidna said.

None of the guys said anything, but the knowing smiles on their faces said everything and more.

As for me I still tried to process everything.

But before I knew it the kiss was over, and Ryuu pulled her mask back up, a massive blush on her face that it couldn't even hide.

Taking my hand she looked at the amazon's.

"As I said before he is taken. So back off." Ryuu declared. "Let's go." She spoke.

Ryuu then started walking, my hand still in hers.

The others following behind us.

All the while I still didn't have an answer to my question.
