38 Chapter 34: Rivira

After taking in the majesty of the 18th floor for a moment, and the fact that we made it here in one piece, our group got a move on again.

Heading straight for the town of Rivira.

The moment we arrived in the makeshift adventurer city we headed straight for one of the local bars.

Since people in them definitely know where the leader of the city currently is, and we need to talk to their ass urgently.

And if they don't know, causing a bit of trouble will get us the same result just in a different manner.

Either way, we get what we want.

Arriving at one of the bars we entered.

The moment we did so all the adventurers inside stopped drinking and looked toward us.

"Yo." I told them. "Anyway, mind telling us where we can find the leader of Rivira?" I asked.

"Piss off kid. Go back to the surface and come back a few years when you're old enough to stop sucking on your mommies tits." One drunk adventurer told me.

Getting a round of laughs from the others in the bar.

"Funny." I said. "I'll tell your mom that the next time I spend the night at her place." I said. Getting a round of laughs from the adventurers and from my friends.

Even Ryuu and Ardi lightly laughed at my joke.

The only one who didn't laugh was the drunk adventurer who bad-mouthed me in the first place.

"Little shit!" He shouted. Slamming his mug onto the table he is currently sitting at. "I think someone needs to show you how to respect your elders." He said.

The man then started walking towards our group.

Only for Millhiore to meet him halfway.

She then pulled a one-kill move.

The puppy dog eyes.

"Mr. please don't hurt my friend." She asked. Wagging her tail a bit as she did so.

The second after this happened all the tough adventurers in the bar melted like warm butter.

"Sure, young lady. I was just messing around." The male adventurer said. A small blush on his face as he did so.

"Ah, I'm so glad." Millhiore mused. "One more thing Mr. adventurer. Do you know where we can find the leader of Rivira, its very important we speak to them?" She asked.

"Sure, I do." The male adventurer said.

He then started giving out information like it was nothing at all.

Seeing this I put a wry smile on my face.

Millhiore knows exactly what she is doing. She's got these guys eating out of the palm of her hand. Makes me pray for her future lover just a bit.

Since they will have quite a time with her.

As soon as the male adventurer was finished telling Millhiore everything he knew she kindly thanked him and then came back over to us.

"Ok guys, let's go." She said.

Millhiore then left the bar.

"Milli, just how dangerous is she?" Rogue asked.

"I don't think that is a question we will ever know the answer too." I said.

The others nodding in agreement with me.

Once they did we followed Millhiore out of the bar.

She then led us through town and eventually we arrived at a rather large government-looking building.

The moment we did so a familiar face came out and greeted us.

Bors Elder.

Looks like even now he is the leader of Rivira.

"So, what are a bunch of kids doing in front of my office?" Bors asked us.

"We need assistance in getting a message to the surface, it's urgent." I said.

"It'll cost you." Bors said. Rubbing his one of his index fingers and thumbs together.

'Looks like he's still money grubber even now as well.' I thought.

"Yeah, we probably don't have the money to pay your prices." I said.

"Then I can't help you." Bors replied.

"Ah, that's too bad." I said in a fake sad voice. "Then I'll guess we'll just have to inform the Ganesha familia that you refused to help us."

"What?" Bors questioned. His eyes going wide the moment I mentioned the Ganesha familia.

Since even now they are one of the most powerful familia in Orario. So Bors definitely doesn't want to get on their bad side.

"Oh yes." Ryner said. He then presented Ardi to Bors. "Don't you recognize this young lady we have with us? She's Ardi Varma, younger sister of the captain of the Ganesha familia, Shakti Varma."

"A-Ankusha's younger sister!" Bors exclaimed.

We all nodded.

As did Ardi herself.

"You see we found her being assaulted by Evilus members on the 14th floor. Thankfully we arrived just in time to spare her from being raped, but unfortunately we couldn't save her fellow Ganesha familia members who accompanied her into the dungeon." Ryner explained. Showing real sadness as he did so.

"So after rescuing Ardi we all made the decision to continue down here to the 18th floor in hopes of gaining assistance from the adventurers who call this place home." I explained. "But I can see our hopes were misplaced." I said.

Showing more fake sadness as I did so.

"Oh well." I said. "Come on guys, let's go and set up camp. Once we are recovered when can return to the surface on our own and explain everything to Shakti and the Ganesha familia ourselves." I said.

We then started to walk away.

Only for Bors to shout out to us in the next second.

"Wait!"

All according to plan.

Stopping in our tracks we turned to face him.

"Yes Mr. Bors?" I asked in an innocent manner. Having a shit eating grin on the inside as I did so.

"Let's not be too hasty now." Bors said. "I'm sure we can work something out."

"Well if you insist." I said.

"I do." Bors said. "I really do."

"Ok then." I said.

Once I did so we all headed into Bors office and discussed things.

Getting exactly what we wanted and then some.

Bors promised to immediately contact the surface, and appraise them of our situation.

He also offered us some free food and medical treatment for our injuries.

Which we happily took.

Then once everything was said and done we moved to set up our campsite.

Since everyone was ready for rest and relaxation.
