129 Chapter 117: Home Sweet Home (Part 1)

As the wagon continued on its way to Orario I moved over to Athena and discussed adding Haruhime to our familia.

"The girl was the prisoner of bandits, and she won't have any place else to go or anyone to look after her. That's why I think we should take her in." I said.

Athena nodded. "I agree. But let's save the rest of the discussion for when we get home."

I nodded at her words.

Once I did so I moved back over to Ryuu and the others.

Then in no time at all we reached one of the gates leading into Orario.

As the wagon came to a stop all of us were asked to step out.

For formalities sake.

As the guards on duty went through the motions. One of them turned their gaze to Haruhime who is clinging to Millihiore.

"Who is that girl?" He asked.

"We rescued her from bandits and now she under our protection." I explained.

"I see." The guard said. "Very well."

He then let the matter lie.

Once he did we then finished up procedures for admittance into the city and were let inside its walls.

"Finally, we're home." I said.

I hoped you missed us Orario. Since we certainly missed you.

Paying the wagon driver for bringing us home we all headed directly for the Owl House.

As we did so we happened to run into members of the Astraea familia.

Specifically Lyra, Noin, Neze, Iska, and Filvis.

"Oh, look who it is. So you guys are back from vacation huh?" Lyra asked.

Being as blunt and brash as usual.

Though I have to say I really like her personality. It's quite refreshing.

"Yep, we're back." Leonmitchelli stated. "So, anything interesting happen while we were out of the city?"

"Eh, nothing at all. Just normal stuff." Neze said.

"Good. I'm glad things didn't go to hell while we were gone." I spoke.

"Well even if it had we would've handled it." Lyra replied.

"Yes, yes, I know that well." I said.

"Well it's great to see you girls but we must be going." Athena spoke. "Also please inform Astraea I wish to discuss a matter with her at her earliest convenience. Maybe over drinks."

"Please no lady Athena." Filvis spoke up.

"Yes, please don't get lady Astraea drunk. We can't handle a repeat of last time." Noin said.

The others girls of the Astraea familia putting wry smiles on their faces.

I can't blame them though.

Since apparently Astraea never touches alcohol unless she is in the presence of Athena. Who always manages to get her drunk. And well...turns out just like Ryuu Astraea is the touchy-feely type of drunk.

Last time we went out together and it happened she started giving affections with a smile on her face. Not only to her own familia members but to me and my friends as well. Same with a couple of the other patrons of the bar.

It was quite the interesting night to say the least.

At the pleas of Noin and the others Athena just put a smirk on her face. "No promises girls." She said.

Hearing this the girls simply sighed in resignation.

While Athena continued smirking.

The rest of us just put wry smiles on our faces.

"Well, see you guys later." I said.

"Right." Lyra spoke. She then looked at Rogue. "Oh and Rogue I'll let Kaguya know you're back. Since she has been very "eager" to see you." The pink-haired pallum said. Raising her brows as she did.

Then without saying anything else she and the other girls left.

"What did Lyra mean?" Rogue asked.

"You'll probably find out soon enough." I said.

Though I think I know what she was talking about.

Kaguya has gone without Rogue for two weeks, so she probably needs some sweet loving. My friend better prepare himself.

Since he's likely about to be sucked completely dry.

Then again, if I was with a girl like Kaguya I wouldn't mind her sucking me dry at all.

Nope, not at all.

Our group reached our home in no time at all.

Entering we headed into the living room.

"Alright everyone." Athena spoke up. "I know you all have things you want to do or get done. But first I want to propose something to you all." She said.

Athena then walked over to Haruhime and placed a hand gently atop her head. "Since this little lady doesn't seem to have anywhere else to go I was thinking of having her join our familia. Any objections?"

"Eh?" Haruhime said.

"Nope." I said.

"None at all." Diluc spoke.

"I welcome her with open arms." Ryuu said.

"Let's have the little lady join us." Leonmitchelli spoke.

The others also voiced their acceptance of allowing Haruhime to join us.

"Well it's unanimous then. But there is still one opinion that matters above all." Athena said. She then looked at Haruhime. "Little lady, would you like to join us?"

Haruhime didn't say anything for several seconds.

But eventually she slowly nodded her head. "Yes. I would like to join you." She softly spoke.

That settles it.

"Great." Athena said. "Also, what might your name be?"

Since Haruhime hasn't told us her name and we didn't ask on the trip back. We didn't want to overwhelm her.

"Sanjouno Haruhime." Haruhime said.

"Well Haruhime, welcome to the Athena familia." I told the girl. Giving her a smile.

One which I got in return.

Right after I did Athena escorted Haruhime up towards her room to give her falna in private.

Once she did everyone went off to do their own thing.

I got ready to head up to my room, only to hear a knock on the front door.

Going over to it I opened it up to see Kaguya standing right outside.

"Hey Kaguya, here to see Rogue?" I asked. A knowing smirk on my face.

"My Morax, it looks like your face has ended up in a rather nasty position. Would you like me to fix it for you like I did Lyra's a short while ago?" Kaguya asked. A smile on her face. But her eyes aren't smiling at all.

"No, no." I said. Dropping my smirk. "Come in." I said.

Kaguya then stepped inside.

Once she did I closed the door behind her.

That's when Rogue came out of the living room.

"Eh, Kaguya?" He questioned.

But she said nothing.

Instead she ran up to him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. She then dragged him up the stairs as fast as she could.

Though Rogue didn't try to fight her at all.

Instead he looked both happy and scared at the same time.

As a man who is about to be sucked dry I understand.
