Chapter 109: Let's Go Kill A Two-Headed Dragon

(3rd Person: POV)

Inside of Athenas' room Ryuu sat on her goddesses bed, getting her status updated.

It had a few weeks since she had done so, and when Morax noticed this he told her to go and get it checked.

So here she is.

As Athena finished checking and updating Ryuus' status the elf slipped her shirt back on.

"So, how does it look lady Athena?" Ryuu asked.

"Good. You are doing well Ryuu. Also you seem to have obtained a new skill." Athena explained.

She then handed Ryuu her satus sheet so she could see her progress herself.

Taking the paper from Athena Ryuu looked at her current status.

Luminous Wind: An offensive wind and light wide area attack-type magic. The user summons green stardust to attack the enemy. The stardust gathers in several orbs which the user can release all at once to cover a wide area or keep some near to apply them at a convenient moment. The user can make a single orb explode with the chant: Luvia.

Chant: In the sky of a now distant forest. Infinite stars scattered in the endless night sky. Respond to my foolish voice, give me now divine protection of starfire. Give the mercy of light to the one who abandoned you. Come, wandering wind, the wandering traveler. Cross the sky and run through the wilderness, run faster than anything else. Imbue the light with stardust and destroy the enemy.

Aero Mana: The users attack power increases the faster they are running. A blue flash will border their weapon when the skill is in effect.

Fairy Serenade: The effect of the users magic is increased and the effect rises at night.

Mind Load: The users strength stat is increased when attacking using mind. Active trigger.

Whisper On The Wind: Decreases the amount of mind used when casting spells based on how fast the user is running.

After reviewing her new status Ryuu handed her sheet to Athena who disposed of it.

"So, what do you think?" Athena asked Ryuu.

"It's good." Ryuu replied.

Actually her status so good enough that Ryuu came to the decision she is ready to level up.

Standing up from Athenas' bed she left her goddesses room to go discuss her decision with Morax.

(Morax: POV)

Sitting in my office I was finishing up some paperwork when I heard a knock.

"Come in." I said.

When I did do Ryuu entered, closing the door behind her.

She then came to stand in front of my desk.

"Yes Ryuu?" I asked her.

"I just finished having my status updated by Athena." She explained. "After reviewing it I feel I am ready to level up."

"I see. Well alright then, but let's discuss it with the others later." I said.

Ryuu nodded. "Sure, that's fine."

"Great." I said.

Finishing up the last of my paperwork.

"Now then, since business has been concluded its time for some play." I said.

I then stood up from my chair and walked around to Ryuu.

Grabbing her butt I gave it a light slap and a squeeze, making Ryuus' entire body shudder.

Since she really enjoys it when I play with her ass.

Besides her ears it's her biggest weak spot.

"Morax, in your office!" Ryuu cried. Her face flushed. "You really are a pervert."

"Says the person who loves it when I slap and punish her ass." I retorted.

I then picked Ryuu up and sat her atop my desk.

Going in for a kiss my fairy elf didn't protest any longer and we have into carnal pleasure.

Making sure to pick up all the papers that fell off my desk afterwards.

We also checked to make sure none of either of our fluids stained them.

Since that happened once more and we never wanted a repeat of said situation ever again.

Sitting on the couch in the living room I had Ryuu seated in my lap.

The others sitting around us.

Since we are having our nightly meeting.

"So Ryuu told me earlier she feels she's ready to level up." I said.

Ryuu nodding her head. "Yes, I am."

"What a coincidence. I feel ready to level up as well." Leonmitchelli said.

"Me too." Rogue said. "I'm ready to become level five." He stated.

"Me as well." Diluc stated.

"Well then, looks like we need to do something big to get you all what you want. And I just so happen to have the perfect plan in mind." I said.

"What might that be, captain?" Ariane asked.

"We'll fight and defeat the Amphisbaena." I spoke.

Since although we have been to the lower and deep floors a number of times now the only monster rex we've ever fought and defeated is the Goliath.

But if we want go get stronger that needs to change.

We need to push ourselves past our limits.

Thus it's time to go and kill that two-headed dragon.

It's classified as level five and level six if fought while in the water.

A perfect challenge for everyone to gain the excelia needed to reach their next levels.

"Any objections?" I asked.

No one spoke up.

"Looks like the plan is set." I spoke.
