16 Chapter 16 - Great Achievements

An extra chapter for today because I felt like it.

====

The next step is getting a Great Achievement.

Although the Fire-Breathing Demon and the One-Horned Rabbit I killed just now are monsters born in the middle level, their strength is not considered Lv.2. It's about the level of B and A in Lv.1. Even for Lv.1 adventurers, they can still handle one with all their strength.

The reason why it's said that Middle Floors require Lv. 2 adventures is entirely because the Fire-Breathing Demon and the Unicorn Rabbit both act in groups. If a group appears together, it requires Lv. 2 to deal with it. Even once the number exceeds too many, Lv.2 adventures can only choose to retreat.

Of course, It's a case of normal Lv.2 adventures. A solitary adventure in that.

If several Lv. 2 adventurers act together, there will be almost no danger from the 13th to 16th Floors as long as they don't encounter a Monster Rex.

Neither the Fire Breathing Demon nor the One-Horned Rabbit can be considered as Lv.2 monsters. From the 13th to the 16th Floor, the only monster Aston is wary about is Minotaur, which is a Lv.2 monster. Ordinary Lv.1 monsters have no possibility of defeating him.

Even Bell, the protagonist of the original work, had a narrow escape from death when facing a Minotaur.

If Aston wants to gain enough Great Achievements to level up, he can only destroy a large number of Lv.2 monsters like Minotaur.

In addition to the Lv. 2 monsters in the Middle Floors from 10th to 17th Floors, the only one that can satisfy Aston's great upgrade is Goliath on the 17th Floor, where the Big Wall of Grief is located.

As Aston's level increased by two levels again, his magic power became much stronger. With Aston's current magic power, Excalibur with full power can still destroy Goliath.

But he didn't want to.

Level 1 requires Goliath as a Great Achievement, so what about the levels after level 2?

Although I have an Upgrade System, and don't need to worry about not being able to get stronger if I can't level up the Status, mosquitoes are still meat no matter how small they are.

Status can be sublimated as long as is upgraded, and it will become a lot stronger all of a sudden. How could Aston not want such a good thing?

Moreover, this is just the upgrade from Lv.1 to Lv.2. Aston is sure that the sublimation obtained from Lv.2 upgrading to Lv.3 will definitely be stronger. After that, there will be Lv.4, Lv.5, Lv.6, and even Lv.9.

Aston can't predict what kind of benefits he will get.

Even if Minotaur really can't accumulate enough Great Achievements for upgrading, Aston will go directly to the safe area on the 18th Floor and brush stronger monsters to accumulate great achievements.

Once Goliath is cleared at Lv.1, Aston doesn't know if he can continue to use it to level up Great Achievements next time.

A good knife should be used on the edge.

The Goliath level should be used when upgrading from Lv.2 to Lv.3.

After that, when Lv.3 upgrades to Lv.4, go for the two-headed dragon on the 27th Floor. When Lv.4 goes up to Lv.5, go for Udaios. When Lv.5 goes up to Lv.6, go for the 49th Floor Boss, Balor.

In fact, if there is no need for Great Achievements, Aston can directly get stuck on one Floor, upgrade his level, and then upgrade his Status after his strength has skyrocketed. Such an upgrade is absolutely terrifying.

However, this bug cannot be done, and the Status upgrade requires enough Great Achievements.

These great achievements can only be got by doing deeds that are praised by the Gods. Although they are praised by the gods, in the final analysis, they are breaking their own limits and achieving something that is almost impossible.

The source of Great Achievements for combat adventurers is basically to destroy monsters that are stronger than themselves.

If Aston accumulates levels and then upgrades, the monsters Aston needed to destroy to get Great Achievements will definitely be excessive.

At that time, even the first two Floor Bosses will not be enough to provide Great Achievement. Perhaps the Third Floor Master, Udaios, and the Fourth Floor Master, Balor, could.

It took a few minutes for Aston to follow the System Map and enter the 14th Floor.

Once reached the 14th Floor, Aston didn't stop, but continued to rush towards the 15th Floor.

The Floors where Minotaur was born are from the 15th to 17th Floor.

Staying on the 14th Floor is just a waste of time.

Soon, Aston crossed another Floor and reached the 15th Floor.

The 15th Floor is different from the previous Floors. The surrounding walls have turned white.

Entering this level, Aston did not encounter a warm welcome from the dungeon. He did not encounter the scene of Minotaur waiting for him as soon as he entered. Which made Aston a little disappointed.

You were so active on the previous Floors, but why did you become so slack after I got to the Floor I wanted?

Speechless, Aston walked around on the 15th Floor, waiting for the dungeon to remember him as an intruder.

Simply speaking, the dungeon did not keep Aston waiting for long.

After Aston wandered around for a few minutes, something strange happened around him. Minotaur, holding a stone axe, walked out of the white wall and stared at him with scarlet eyes.

Seeing this scene, Aston raised his lips slightly.

"Has it finally appeared?"

"My upgrade success depends on you, don't let me down!!!" muttering excitedly in his heart, Aston pulled out Excalibur from his waist and rushed out.

The next moment, a serious battle broke out.

I have to say that Minotaur is indeed a Floor Boss, his strength is certainly very strong.

From the time Aston entered the dungeon to the present, Minotaur was the only monster that could bring some pressure to him.

Other monsters didn't put any pressure on Aston at all.

Because Aston chooses the appropriate monsters to upgrade every time, those monsters are not Aston's opponents. Every time he deals with the monsters, he just chops up melons and vegetables, which does not allow Aston to practice his combat skills.

However, it was only a little bit stressful. After all, the Minotaur with Lv. 2 strength appeared, with more than a dozen of them, surrounding Aston.

If only two or three of them appeared, Aston could easily kill them instantly.

This situation is different now.

Aston didn't have three heads and six arms, so he had to take care of all the attacks around him. While dealing with Minotaur, he didn't chop melons and vegetables like before, but fell into a real battle.

Since coming to Orario, Aston has encountered this kind of hearty battle for the first time, which couldn't help but bring up a smile on his face. It was a fighting smile.

Even Aston himself didn't know this.

In this siege, Aston was injured for the first time. He was hit by one of the Minotaur while was out of defense. Although he recovered instantly under the healing effect of Avalon, Aston was indeed injured.

However, Aston didn't feel any discomfort after being injured this time. Instead, he unconsciously felt a little bit of excitement. Aston, who noticed this, even wondered if he was a masochist.

However, Aston erased this thought soon.

How could I be a masochist? This was clearly the joy of fighting.
