14 Chapter 14: Pass Parade

Noctis quickly made his way to the dungeon sporting his new armor. Apparently it was Far East in style as the smith was also from the Far East.

It was black and red. Noctis smiled as he though he looked like a samurai. The only thing he was missing was a mask as the armor did not come with it. Also instead of being open toed with sandals like other samurai this one had strong metal boots.

Noctis noticed many people either looking at him strangely or scared. Not knowing that word would spread that a demon entered the dungeon that day.

Noctis made his way down to floor 12 and started his adventure to floor 16. Noctis was extremely happy when he made it to floor 13 as the mist from floor 10 to 12 was finally gone.

Noctis thought floors 13 and 14 were a breeze. The monsters were easy targets as one of the main monsters hellhounds while in packs of 3 or greater were not fast enough to catch him off guard.

Noctis even ran into some Almiraj white rabbits with a unique horn. While there were many they were all easy to kill. Noctis then finally made it to floor 15.

Floor 15 was pretty big an open. Noctis liked that though as it gave more room for bigger fights. Noctis was also eager because this was the floor where Minotaurs would start to spawn.

Noctis wanted to see how strong they truly were. Luckily as soon as Noctis entered the floor he saw one immediately. Not wanting to sneak attack it Noctis threw a rock at the back of its head to get its attention.

This caused the Minotaur to roar and start to charge at him. Noctis noticed how the Minotaur only had its bare hands. It was also charging at him with its horns down set to try and pierce Noctis's skin.

Noctis smiled as just when the Minotaur was about to pierce him he side stepped and with his blood gauntlets swung at the Minotaurs side. Noctis felt slight resistance showing the fact that it is a level 2 monster. However Noctis was able to break through that resistance and sent the Minotaur flying into a wall.

Noctis then started to slowly walk towards it as the Minotaur got up. Noctis looked at it as if it was easy prey. While the Minotaur was getting up Noctis put both his hands together and slammed them down on the Minotaurs back causing a small crater. Noctis then kept punching it in the back of the head causing it to turn into dust. Noctis picked up the crystal and tossed it in his storage.

Noctis smiled "They are definitely strong. A group of them might prove as a good challenge. But one on one is east."

Further on down the dungeon a group of adventurers were facing just that. They were surrounded by thirty or more Minotaurs. Noctis was heading right for them.

Noctis eventually got close enough to see the fight he was about a hundred yards away he could see a group of four against about thirty Minotaurs. The group of four however were clearly struggling. Noctis saw how the bigger man and leader of the group was carrying one of their injured members.

Noctis used his soul search to identify who they were. He was actually surprised as it was Ouka Kashima, Mikoto Yamato, Chigusa Hitachi, and Asuka. They were from the Takemikazuchi Familia if he remembered correctly. They were all also level two.

Ouka was a tall man standing at 6'3" he was also the Captain of their Familia. He had green eyes with black hair he looked like a basic background character besides that. Ouka was using a greatsword.

Mikoto was 5'2" with black long flowing hair and purple eyes. She was very beautiful and in fact was one of the reasons Noctis decided to help. Mikoto was using a katana.

Chigusa was being carried by Ouka currently. She would normally stand at 5'1". She also had black hair with green eyes. She was a martial artist.

Then there was Asuka had brown hair and brown eyes. She seemed like a mage. She was also the shortest at 4'10".

Noctis sighed "I would usually wait it out like last time but I like Mikoto. She has a nice character and has the most potential out of the group."

Noctis started to run over to try and reach them before they suffered anymore damage. As Noctis got closer however Ouka took notice of this. Ouka then made a decision. "Come on we're running back."

Everyone listening to his orders started to run towards Noctis. Mikoto then asked "Are we going to fight with him."

Ouka had slight hesitation since Noctis was wearing Far East armor. But he shook his head "No we are running past him and out the dungeon."

Mikoto then said "What but…"

Ouka was firm "Those are my orders."

Mikoto was silent and not happy with what was happening. Noctis stopped running as he saw them coming towards him. His eyes widened however as Ouka kept running past him. Noctis then smirked "Well I asked for a group fight I suppose."

Mikoto stopped by Noctis both because she felt bad and because she did pause from his looks. Noctis looked her in the eyes "You sure you guys want to do a Pass Parade that could lead someone to die?"

Mikoto looked back to Ouka who was carrying Chigusa and running with Asuka still. Mikoto then looked back at Noctis who had nothing but a smirk on his face. Mikoto then said "Sorry." As she started to run again.

Noctis shrugged "She cares about the leaders orders too much you should be able to think for yourself."

Noctis sighed "Well in front of the enemy I feel like the only choice is to fight."

Noctis watched as the Takemikazuchi Familia left the floor. Noctis then turned back around to see the thirty plus Minotaurs charging at him. Some with bare hands, some with crude swords, and others with clubs.

Noctis smiled "Well might as well get some free shots."

There were currently three front runners of Minotaurs ahead of the rest of the pack. Noctis activated his King Aura and it caused the three to stumble in their motions and freeze for a moment. Noctis's King Aura can cause more damage then this but when facing so many he wanted to preserve his energy.

Noctis cut his palms using the blood to make his Gauntlets. He then slammed two of the Minotaurs heads together. Then just as the other Minotaur was about to move Noctis grabbed it by the leg and spun around throwing the Minotaur in to the rest of the group that was getting closer. Noctis smiled as it had halted the large group for a moment.

Noctis looked back over to the two Minotaurs that he smashed together and smiled as he saw their horns were interlocked. Noctis then saw his death. So he leaned his head back as a crude sword stabbed through the air where his head was.

This was all Noctis needed to remind himself to focus. Noctis fired a right hook at the Minotaur who tried to stab him. Noctis had a wide grin on his face as the Minotaurs head exploded. He then used the blood from the Minotaur and sent as many jagged arrows as he could at the huge group of Minotaurs. Many targets were hit but the damage was minimal.

Noctis only got a couple of Minotaurs hit in the eyes to blind them a bit. Noctis then ducked out of the way of a club that a Minotaur was swinging at his head. Noctis picked up the crude sword from the Minotaurs head who exploded he then used it to stab the chest of the Minotaur who just tried to hit him.

Noctis then looked around and saw he was now surrounded by 40 Minotaurs. Noctis sighed "This is going to be a long process."
