14 014 Evil Lili.

Nahza felt very helpless hearing Bell's words. She simply don't have that money right now! There's only her and the God Miach in their familia so they can't ask anyone for help either. Does she really have no other choice but to give up more than half of those items??

Seeing her like that, Bell knew that his guess was probably correct. Nahza, no, the Miach familia doesn't have enough money to buy all of those wings he has. It's not his problem though. Bell didn't really care much of those wings personally but of course, he's no God nor a philanthropist. He will not simply give his things to anyone for free unless he felt doing so.

" I have to go now. " Bell turned around and head towards the door, ready to leave this place.

" Wait! "

Nahza immediately called out. She can't just let him go like that, can she? " Can we, talk about it more, Bell? We just really don't have enough valis at the moment so.. "

" I know. " Bell replied without turning his head back to Nahza. " I heard that your God and my Goddess are quite friends. If you really want to buy those things then you can tell your God to pay us a visit. Who knows, he might be able to convince my Goddess to agree? I don't know but see yah. "

Bell finally left the shop leaving Nahza there alone and still stunned, staring blankly at the door. Bell's last sentences still echoes inside her head slowly digesting it. Then suddenly, she realized something..

SHE FORGOT TO ASK WHAT FAMILIA BELL BELONGS TO!!

Bell spent the rest of the day inside the biggest library in Orario. When he gets hungry, he will buy food at the stalls outside. For 4 hours straight, he did nothing else aside from browsing each and every corner of the library (mostly). Shelve after shelve, book by book. All for the purpose of making sure that he will not missed the thing he wanted to find here but... he still failed in the end.

Bell's looking for an Alchemy book, a useful one but found nothing like that. He did found some books about alchemy but they are NOT USEFUL for him, honestly. He can only give up and start reading encyclopedias about plants, animals, monsters and more, instead. This world's Alchemy had failed him so he has to study on his own.

There's tons of knowledge inside Bell's head, that's for sure. Whether it's Smithing, Monster Taming, Alchemy etc. But even now, he never really tried doing any of those yet. He even bought some low level potions today, something he should have been able to make normally! Well, not really.

There's a few problems that's stopping him from utilizing those skills and knowledge inside his head. First was time, his biggest problem so far. Bell simply didn't have enough free time in him right now because he's still occupied by his training, to increase his level, his strength.

In the world as dangerous as this one, Bell chose to prioritize getting stronger first before anything else. So he won't be in the mercy of others.

Knowing how to do something and being able to do it are two different things. That's what Bell had realized since the first time he got those memories inside his head. Like smithing for example, Bell knew how to smelt metals, the right amount of heat required, the methods, techniques of making weapons and armors etc. but, his current body isn't ready for that yet. If Bell wanted to create weapons, he has to practice, to make his body get use on doing that first.

That's also the reason why despite having a very high level of martial arts techniques or fighting abilities, Bell still struggles inside the dungeon --- even experiencing life and death battles sometimes. It's because his body and senses cannot keep up with his skills yet.

He's weak.

As for Alchemy, Bell's problem is a bit more complicated because this world is very different from what his predecessors knew.

Not only the ingredients but the whole Alchemy itself is very different.

In this world, people relies too much in their God's and Goddesses's blessings ------------ their Falna. All are dependent on their skills. As long as one has the Advanced Skill - Forge, he/she can be a blacksmith. Even creating magic swords is very easy, easier.

If you have the Advanced Skill - Synthesis, you can become Alchemist or chemist as they called here or potion makers/masters etc. All you need is the right skill and you can easily be one of those masters.

In this world, Alchemy is like a gamble. Gather enough ingredients then activate your skill, it will do the rest of the work Easy pissy!!

No wonder no one has been able to recreate the Philosopher's Stone again after it was destroyed buy a certain God before. Probably because luck plays the major factor for it, not the real step by step method.

That's also what's written in any alchemy books in this library making them all useless for Bell. It's like a world class mathematician not capable of answering an elementary math problem because it's written in a different language and symbols he cannot understand.

" UrrnnnnnNNNNMM... "

Closing his 4th book, Bell stretched his arms, back and legs. Looking at the window on his left, he saw that it's already dark outside --- time to go home. He cleaned the table and returned all the books he borrowed on the shelves before finally leaving the place.

NEXT DAY

Dungeon's twelfth floor.

" OOOOnnnnMRROOOOO!!! "

A group of monsters made out of imps and orcs are currently battling against a party of five adventurers. So far, the odds are obviously on the monster's side due to their overwhelming numbers.

Three orcs around 3 meters high are in front holding landform clubs on their hands. They serves as the tank blocking all the attacks from the adventurers while imps are moving around sneak attacking from time to time. These adventurers are skilled and they even got one level 2 adventurer in them but that didn't help at all because for some reason, monsters never stop coming to them no matter how many they killed. If it will continue like this, only death awaits them for sure.

More or less a couple of hundred meters away from them, on top of a five to six meters rock protruding from the ground. Bell's watching all of that event unfolds while holding a delicious looking sandwich on his hand.

" Meh. This sandwich... why does it taste like swamp? "

Bell complained as he continue chewing the food inside his mouth. The sandwich look very appetizing and beautiful but it taste is exactly different from its appearance ----its far from good. Well, still edible though and he's hungry so he can't really complain.

Syr gave these sandwiches to him this morning when Bell passed through the Hostess of Fertility on his way to the dungeon. He can still remember the bright smile on that girl's face when he accepted the food and said his thanks to her. Hands down, that human silver-haired girl is super cute but her food.... no comment.

" Mmmhh?? Is it starting?? HA-HA-HA. " Bell suddenly burst into laughter, almost choking himself in result. Luckily he brought a small water container with him so he's okay again after a few gulps. " Now now, Lili, ins't that very cruel? "

Bell saw one of the party members, the smallest of them as she slowly retreats little by little before totally leaving the group behind. Her party members are still busy fighting the monsters so they haven't noticed anything yet.

Lili took one last glance at her 4 party members that are now surrounded by monsters, they are about to fall. But there's not a hint of pity in the prum's eyes at all. There's only hatred and disgust.

" Serves them right. " she whispered as Lili turned around left for good.

She hated adventurers, because they are all the same. They always look down on her, beating her for fun, take advantage of her by not paying her service. In all of Lili's life as a supporter or even way before that, there's not a single good thing happen between her and any other adventurers.

Even those four she had partied with just now are not an exemption. Lili had lost count on how many kicks and shaming she had received from them. But that doesn't matter now because they will not see each again again after today.

Potions, weapons, magic stones and plenty of other drop items her party got, -------- it's all inside her oversize bags now. All hers!

Lili knows that her actions are wrong, but she didn't care. In order for a weak like her to continue existing in this world, in order to free herself from her familia, in order to achieve her dream, Lili didn't mind becoming a demon herself.
