RIP Akira Toriyama...

Akira Toriyama, creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, leaves us today. I just wanted to express my condolences for the loss of a legend who created a work that made my childhood.

[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]

Third Person POV

Orario.

...

...

The next day, as the rising sun bathes the city of Orario with a new light, Lucius and Hestia meet in a quiet room of the Heimdall mansion to discuss an important matter: the fate of this mansion and the former Heimdall Family's land. The members of the Hestia Family, Welf, Mikoto, Bell, and Lili, are also present, but they remain silent, watching the discussion between the two.

Hestia begins, her expression serious and thoughtful. "Lucius, we need to think about the family's future. Selling the Heimdall mansion could help us pay off a debt and ensure our financial security." Her voice reflects the responsibility she carries as a goddess and leader.

Lucius, leaning against the window, looks outside, contemplative. "I understand your concern, Hestia, and the importance of settling our debts. But the Heimdall mansion and its land have great potential. It could be a valuable site for something much bigger, especially for me." His expression reveals a plan in mind, something he has been considering for some time.

Hestia nods, but still tries to voice some doubt. "But Lucius, what do you have in mind for this place?" Her curiosity is evident, wanting to understand Lucius's vision for the future.

"I have some ideas, but I'm not sure if they will work out, however, I want to try," Lucius speaks seriously, his determination clear in his voice. "This place is not just a mansion; it's an opportunity for something new, something that can benefit not just our family but perhaps all of Orario."

"Are you sure about this, Lucius?" Hestia, seeing her son serious about this, asked. Her concern is palpable.

"Yes," he said and continued, "I propose to buy the Heimdall mansion from you. I am willing to pay 40 million for it." The offer is generous, reflecting not just the value Lucius sees in the land but also his commitment to the future he envisions. He already had 20 million in hand from the money he asked Hestia to bet on his family as a war game; he owed 1 million to the guild due to his episode against Apollo, but he knew he could get another 21 million in a month. It's no surprise to anyone that he is powerful enough to enter the deep floors and get a large number of crystals, so he wouldn't have to give many explanations to the guild for that.

Hestia, hearing this, is surprised and somewhat disconcerted by the generous offer. Her eyes widen, reflecting shock and disbelief. "Lucius, that's a huge amount! Would you really go so far for this?" Her question is filled with admiration and a touch of concern, not wanting Lucius to overburden himself.

Lucius nods, his gaze firm and resolute. "Yes, Hestia. I believe in the potential of this property and what it can offer for the future, and it's almost in the middle of the city near the guild, which will give me a great advantage for my plan. I am willing to invest in it." His voice is calm yet filled with determination.

Hestia, after a moment of reflection, sighs deeply, her face displaying a mix of gratitude and dilemma. "Lucius," she says, her voice laden with emotion, "you have already done so much for us. You were key to winning the war game and saved our family. I can't accept your money." She shakes her head, refusing the offer, not wanting to impose any more financial burden on him.

She pauses, looking at Lucius and then at the other family members. "Instead, I offer the Heimdall mansion to you, for free. Consider it a thank you for everything you've done. Is that alright with you?" Her gaze seeks approval from the others, wanting to ensure that her decision is accepted by all.

The family members present agree with nods and murmurs of approval. After all, it was thanks to Lucius that all this was provided to them.

Lucius, hearing Hestia's response, falls silent for a moment, absorbing her words. "Thank you, Hestia," he finally says, his voice soft but filled with gratitude. "This means a lot to me. I promise to make good use of this property and honor what you and the family represent."

As the conversation comes to an end, everyone leaves the room. Their steps lead them to a room where Cassandra and Daphne are conversing with Riekling on the living room sofa.

"Hello Cassandra, Daphne, and Riekling, good morning!" Lucius offers a warm greeting.

Cassandra, always a bit shy, offers a timid smile. "Hello Lucius."

Daphne, with a somewhat more direct nature, nods. "Good morning."

"Good morning, master!" Riekling seems excited.

"I see you've already met them, Riekling," Lucius smiles.

"Riekling happy to have more friends! More acquaintances!" He announces with a hand gesture, making Cassandra smile.

Lucius looks at Riekling, still getting used to this new version of the goblin. "Yes, Riekling, they are part of the family too."

"Master, master!" Riekling, with eyes shining with excitement and palpable energy, suddenly seems very agitated. His little body can hardly contain the excitement as he sways from side to side.

"Hm, what is it?" Lucius asks, surprised and curious about the sudden excitement of the goblin. He tilts his head, observing Riekling with interest.

"Riekling discovered something fantastic last night! Look at Riekling!!" The little goblin exclaims, and with a quick and precise movement, he raises a finger and snaps it. In the blink of an eye, he disappears, leaving only a light magical mist where he was. Moments later, he reappears triumphantly with a jug of juice he took from the kitchen.

"That's magical teleportation, how interesting," Lucius comments, impressed with Riekling's new ability. He ponders for a moment and then asks, "Let me ask you something, do you feel anything when I call your name?" Lucius asks, trying to better understand the extent of Riekling's magical abilities and comparing it to the logic of house-elves from the world of Harry Potter.

"Yes, master! Riekling's mind vibrates when the master speaks his name!" Riekling responds excitedly, clearly thrilled to share his discovery.

"That's great," Lucius says, a smile forming on his face as he realizes the potential of this new ability. "From today onwards, I want you to use your teleportation when you feel me calling you, understood?" Lucius says, already imagining the possibilities and how useful Riekling could be with this new capability.

"Yes, master! Riekling will do it! Riekling is happy to help the master!" Riekling confirms, saluting comically, and Lucius nods satisfied, admiring the goblin's loyalty and willingness to learn and serve.

Lucius continues conversing with Cassandra and Daphne, asking how they were adapting and how they would fit into the family. He wants to ensure they feel part of the family and understand that, despite the circumstances that brought them here, they have a place where they can belong and grow. They were surprised that Lucius placed them on Bell's team; Lucius has his own adventures, and he acts alone; he would never fit into a team, perhaps in a significant dive into the deeper floors.

The day begins with a late breakfast, where everyone gathers around a table filled with delicacies prepared by the house staff. There are laughs and light conversations, with each member sharing with each other. The atmosphere is warm and comforting, a reminder of the strength and unity that keeps them together.

"So, how is the preparation of Apollo's mansion going?" Lucius asked, turning to Hestia with a knowing look.

"It will be ready in another week," Hestia replied, her voice mixing relief and a hint of irritation. "We were lucky that Apollo had already started repairs on the damage you caused. You overdid it there, Lucius!" She reprimanded, frowning in disapproval.

"It was worth it for me, I have no regrets." Lucius declares firmly, without a shadow of a doubt in his voice.

"..." Hestia could only sigh with her son. She knew well Lucius's obstinate and determined nature and knew that once he set a goal, nothing could divert him from his path, no matter how destructive the path he chose might be. Still, as his goddess and protector, she wished he would sometimes choose paths with less chaos.

The day went by, and Lucius remained at home with his family, interacting with everyone. Today would not be a day when he would worry about points, evolve, buy spells, and face significant challenges; he just wanted to relax.

The day passed, and Lucius ended up playing some games on the ground with Lucius and Welf, while Hestia, sitting in a comfortable corner with a cup of tea, watches her family with a content smile. She talks with Cassandra and Daphne, assuring them that they have all the time in the world to adjust and feel at home. Riekling, always curious and excited, wanders around the ground, and Lucius instructed how he could be useful; with his teleportation, he could fetch many things people might ask for by calling his name.

As the sun settles in the middle of the sky, bathing the city of Orario with its golden light, the family gathers for a peaceful outdoor lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with the table filled with delicious dishes carefully prepared by them. They share more moments together, talk about future plans, and simply enjoy each other's company. There's no urgency, no imminent threat, just the comfort of being together, like a true family, basking in the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze caressing their skins.

However, this tranquility is interrupted when a Guild official, recognizable by his formal attire and distinctive badge, approaches the mansion with firm steps and a serious demeanor. He requests to speak with Lucius, who is notified of the summons and meets the messenger under the shade of a nearby tree.

The official delivers the message with a respectful bow. "Lucius, you have been summoned to present yourself at the Guild. The guild leader, Royman Mardeel, wishes to speak with you personally. It seems to be important. The time is in the letter." He said, handing over the letter and retreating from the place with the same formal posture.

The family members look at each other with a mix of surprise and curiosity. Royman Mardeel, the Guild leader, rarely summons someone unless that person has some issue with the guild or is of utmost importance.

"Lucius, you haven't committed any crime, have you?" Hestia asked, suspicious and worried. Her maternal expression reflected the concern any mother would have upon hearing such news.

"No, it must be some other matter. Tomorrow, I'll explain to you the reason for the summons," Lucius responds calmly. He already imagined the purpose of this summons, and the time mentioned in the letter, which was early in the evening, only reinforced this, as that Elf would not have summoned him if there were no orders issued from his superiors.

He murmurs to himself, almost inaudible to the others, "It seems I will finally meet him, Ouranos..." Lucius said calmly, imagining the meeting with the most mysterious god of Orario, whom few mortals can see.

The family, realizing the seriousness of the moment, offers words of encouragement and support. They knew that, regardless of what was to come, they would be there for each other, facing together any challenge that the future might hold.
