Opening my eyes slowly, I found myself in front of two goddesses arguing. One of them was Hestia, unrecognizable with her double braids and childish behavior. I noticed her with swollen and red cheeks. The other is a goddess with blond hair and green eyes, of divine beauty, I have to admit, her cheeks are also swollen.

Of course, the goddesses were arguing with each other, resulting in each one pinching the other's cheek in this quarrel.

Still, I wonder what the hell Aphrodite is doing here; this is not at all canonical....

They stopped arguing when they saw me move my head.

Said the two goddesses as soon as they saw me awake.

"What's going on here, and still arguing over me!?" I demanded.

Hestia cleared her throat and finally spoke.

"We're still on the eighteenth floor. You got hurt last night, and since then, you've been unconscious. It's been more than 15 hours!" Hestia informed me, and I wanted to know what happened because I cast a spell and got hurt with a sudden explosion. This was very unexpected, considering I used the minimum of the spell! What a horrible situation. My body hadn't fully recovered, so I started casting healing to heal myself as quickly as possible.

"And what are you doing here? And you, I don't think we've ever met..." I asked Hestia and then turned to Aphrodite. I didn't lie; I really never spoke to this goddess other than knowing of her existence.

"Your fencing teacher, Mikoto, informed us that Bell was in danger thanks to Takemikazuchi's group. So, we formed a team to enter the dungeon and rescue my little Bell. But to our surprise, when we arrived, we found out that Bell is fine with his group, thanks to you, Lucius-kun! You rescued them in such a difficult moment, so you have my sincere thanks for that!" Said Hestia sincerely.

"There's nothing to thank, Hestia. We're in the same family, right? I said I would help in any way I could." I said with a smile, and Hestia nodded happily at my sincere words.

"But it's amazing that you could go to the intermediate floors and pass through them so easily! I couldn't believe it when I heard about it from Aphrodite, that you rescued one of her daughters too!"

"What can I say, I have my talents." I shrugged and looked at the second blond-haired goddess while she remained quiet, listening to our conversation.

"Well, Mr. Lucius, I was going to Hestia to ask about you. You helped one of my daughters, after all. I wanted to thank you, of course, but I heard about the issues with another son of Hestia, so I accompanied Hestia and Hermes here!" She said as if she were doing something to be proud of. I noticed that this goddess is as mischievous and childish as Hestia.

"But no one really asked for your help..." Hestia grumbled with crossed arms, turning her head the other way.

"Shut up, ugly loli!" Aphrodite shouted angrily and looked at me, striking a charming pose.

"So, Mr. Lucius? Just my presence already makes you feel better when you see my beauty, doesn't it?" She said.

"A new narcissistic goddess with her beauty appeared," I thought as I looked at this blonde goddess in front of me without knowing what to say about it.

"Well, you don't need to thank me for saving your daughter. I did what anyone with power should do..." I said sincerely, ignoring the fact that this goddess probably cares more about compliments to her beauty than anything else.

She came to my bed, grabbed one of my arms, and began to speak with a presumptuous face.

"How humble, but I still have to thank you, especially since you're such a handsome young man. How about we go out for a date?" She said, trying to sound sensual.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY SON, YOU NARCISSISTIC GODDESS!" Hestia shouted a little before jumping on Aphrodite, and they started fighting, rolling on the ground, once again pulling each other's cheeks.

"Calm down, Aphrodite, you're better than that brat loli! Don't let her provoke you." Aphrodite murmured as she stormed out of the tent angrily, speaking phrases we couldn't hear anymore. Her personality was a bit eccentric; she gave herself advice out loud and referred to herself in the third person.

"Now that that annoying Aphrodite is gone, tell me what happened to you!" Hestia demanded, crossing her arms in front of me when we were alone in the tent, which I didn't know the location of on this floor.

"I don't know exactly yet. I was upgrading my level when I cast an aura spell to test, and the whole place exploded..." I said calmly while scratching my head.

"YOU WHAT?!" Hestia shouted at my words, and I knew what she was referring to.

"I'm level 2 now! HEHE," I said with a smile as I looked at the screen in front of me with the stats.

"I'M SO USELESS! I CAN'T EVEN LEVEL UP MY OWN SON!!!" Hestia began to cry in front of me but quickly composed herself.

"Anyway, this is amazing, Lucius-kun. We have two level 2s in the family! Let me see your stats!" She demanded, and I turned to expose my back.

As soon as she mounted me, she didn't even wait to put a sheet and saw my stats.

"Goddess Hestia, I would appreciate it if you avoided raising your voice so much; someone might hear this..." I said categorically.

"SORRY!" She quickly covered her mouth.

"It's just too much to take in. In addition to the powerful stats that surpass the level limits, you gained a magic ability, and you also have 11 spells! How can I not get hysterical here!" She grumbled, not knowing how to deal with all the information in front of her. I admit she was calmer than the last time she saw it.

"I told you I have my secrets when I joined your family," I said calmly.

"Honestly? I think it's better this way. At least I can still maintain a low profile for now, I hope, and you don't have to deal with a bunch of questions about how your children grow so fast," I said, unknowingly that my name would soon be known throughout Orario.

"I think you're right," she said after thinking a bit. After that, she left to let me rest a little more, seeing that I was well and recovering, just tired.

After a while, even though Hestia asked me to rest, I finally left the tent to check the surroundings, and to my surprise, we were in the Loki family's camp.

'I wonder why this family took me in after our last encounter, maybe it's that favor they owe us?' I thought.

"You finally woke up," said a blond Pallum approaching, Finn. I grimaced.

"I guess... Did I hurt anyone?" I asked somewhat embarrassed about it, after all, the explosion was my fault.

"Fortunately, no one was injured, but the owner wanted to send you to the guild and file a lawsuit for the damages you caused. We managed to convince him not to handle it that way and paid for the damage." I was surprised.

"That's unexpected..." I said to the Pallum.

"Don't be surprised; we owe you a favor, I think we're even after everything that happened." He finally said, and I had to sigh.

"I believe we're on good terms now..." I muttered, but I couldn't complain since this was caused by my actions, after all.

Finn nodded satisfied and went on to ask.

"I'm curious, what happened?" He asked.

"I had trouble stabilizing my magical power since I was ready to level up... I just reached level 2 with Hestia-Sama." I gave an excuse.

"Congratulations on that, but this could be a problem every time you level up... your magic seems to grow quite rapidly." He said curiously, and I nodded under the calculating gaze of the Loki family captain.

'I'm being watched by the Loki family now...' I couldn't help but think.

"I'll have to study magic now, as I'm still very ignorant about it; maybe it will help me control my magical level." I said, never having studied magic, as a mage, perhaps I really need to study in arcane areas.

After seeing that, I continued to walk around the place until I left the camp.

Almost no main characters were in the camp now; Hestia must be looking for Bell or in the city. The girls are strolling around, and as I don't know any Loki family members besides the main ones and some of the secondary team, I walked without talking to anyone.

I walked aimlessly through the forest, trying to think about what I can do now. I have 700,000 points; I can get quite a few spells. I walked for minutes until I found a cliff and sat down to think for a bit. I used my summoning spell, and my goblin reappeared by my side.

"HEEEEE!!" He shouted at me.

"I know, I know... I'm sorry about that." I smiled sadly; he was caught in the explosion and died. But as a summon, I can bring him back.

"A pity that I lost everything in that backpack..." I said regretfully; the backpack disappeared with Riekling, and I ended up losing it since it happened hours ago.

"Now, how can I strengthen myself to face the mutant Goliath..." I shifted my focus from Riekling to ponder my next steps; the mutant Goliath will appear here after the Loki family leaves.

Looking at the system, I became interested in the space spell, Quick Dodge, but fighting against the mutant Goliath would be a waste of time because it would take me too long to chant that spell now. It's a good spell when you don't need to chant... Still, I don't think it can escape the feet of a titan since the range is only a few meters...

I have the card that cancels chanting, but using it on a rank 3 ability doesn't seem like a wise choice; I can train the ability in Orario and save the card for the future, for a more powerful skill or in a life-or-death emergency.
