Chapter 14

Chapter 14

Dani-

We shifted the conversation.

Well, it shifted itself really.

Talking with her was actually very comfortable.

Brittany: 'Could I make lunch?'

I looked down at her curiously.

Brittany: 'Dani, you've been doing the food, and I appreciate it. You have covered how you doing that for me isn't service, or submission. You've warned me that I'll be drawn to your dominance. I'm fully aware that there is no commitment attached. You've been really awesome. You're going out of your way to teach me, and we both know if you wanted to have your way with me, I would have been putty in your hands. You had too much respect for us both though.'

She sat up from laying in my lap and moved closer.

Brittany: 'I'm not on my knees begging to serve you, calling you ma'am. I'm asking if I can show some gratitude and even if you don't turn me into putty, I'm still hoping you might want me in your hands.'

She winked and leaned in to kiss me.

I gently laid her back on the couch.

As tempting as it was, I was well behaved.

Pulling myself off her but still slightly hovering over her.

'You are truly special. I would absolutely love for you to make lunch. I don't know what all is here, as I've mentioned. As my friend, whom I share no commitment or obligation with.'

She gave me a look and I made a silly face in return.

Brittany: 'Help me find what all I have to pick from?'

'Naturally, but I still feel useful, how about while you cook, you use the time to ask more, like earlier. Not that I minded going off on random high school stories and such.'

She smiled at me.

Brittany: 'I want to ask something now though.'

'Um, OK?'

Brittany: 'I get a comfort, being closer to you, like this. Yes, you laying me back like this, kissing me, it gives me other feelings besides comfort. However, this isn't about that. Why me? I'm not trying to be dramatic, I just don't get it. You approached me. You made conversation. You looked for my information, so you could email me. You met up with me. You invited me here. You were more into sharing time together than the information that was the whole reason behind everything. You could have...'

I pecked her lips to get her to pause.

'You're rambling. It's cute, but this is just a personal preference, and may be something to consider with others too. I'm not trying to make you ashamed of letting your mind wander and expressing the thoughts you have, but maybe, ask what you intend to, with less examples, then if the answer you get doesn't satisfy you, elaborate. I'll handle the examples and analogies.'

Brittany: 'Point taken.'

She blushed a little and I sat up, with her following.

'There aren't definite words to explain. There's some intuition with it. Things you learn to notice. You watched us. Not just gazing at us because we were different. You looked like you were genuinely interested. I did watch, for a good while. While I'm in no way ashamed of the lifestyle I've chosen, I totally respect everyone else and have no intention to force anything on anyone who hasn't expressed being OK with it. If you try to pick someone up at a bar, it could be a good example. You see someone alone that catches your eye so you say hello. Yes someone who wants someone to start talking to them usually shows certain signs but that doesn't totally change things. There is nothing wrong with that on either side, from sitting at a bar to approaching someone sitting there. If they ask to be left alone, you should respect that but if they talk, you're not forcing yourself on them. You offer to buy a drink and they accept, you're not a predator. If they say they aren't interested, that's where you cross lines if you continue. So you were at the bar. You weren't acting crazy, dressed super slutty, or drawing attention to yourself but you were cute, and I saw you looking while you blushed. So I offered a drink. Does that make sense?'

Brittany: 'Yes, actually, a lot. You thought I may enjoy you buying me a drink, so without intimidation or pressure, you offered to buy me one. No strings attached, no obligation. Just an offer.'

'How well you put these things together continues to impress me.'
