CHAPTER 10: LONG CHATS

Few days past, she has become attached to Ivan and really looking up to her Whatsapp chat with Ivan as she reads the whole old messages on her Whatsapp with Ivan. She smiles as she reads them through, reminiscing the past, the past that flew by quickly without she's even realizing it.

Even though she just know Ivan for the past days and weeks now, it's like half of her still don't trust him and half of her especially her heart is already hooked up with his love and affection.

This is dangerous, isn't? For her, this is just a regular day at the office where it has become her new normal. Chatting up with Ivan and looking up at his love messages for her has become her daily activities without she even realizing it that she has been hooked up by his charm.

She was wide awake at 6 AM without any reason and decided to text him the first time that she did this first, "Hey, baby." she then added, "I'm wide awake at this hour."

He was still offline so she decided to sleep off again this time.

When she was awake, she checks her chats on Whatsapp with Ivan. Ivan's Whatsapp is a business Whatsapp and she checks his business name and found out a different name by "David Field." and arising suspicions went through her mind. She thought, "Who is this David Field? I have to ask him."

"Baby, why is your Whatsapp name is David Field? What's your full name?

She waits for an hour to get his reply. He then replied to her, "That's my baptismal name. Since I moved over to the States. So here in the States, most people call me with my English name."

She begins to understand them and praises him, "I see... it's a cool name :) So Ivan Dimitri is your Russian name?"

He quickly replied, "Oh yes... It's Russian."

She replied, "I see... So how was your day?"

He asked her in return, "How was your night?"

She replied, "It was good. I woke up at 6 AM."

He replied, "Wow, why so early?"

She replied, "I don't know why... I was just wide awake and think of you."

He replied, "Wow, that's so lovely. So you had me in mind."

She replied, "Yes. I love our conversations. Although most of the times, I don't understand what you are saying because sometimes you are mumbling but I appreciate our time on the phone. Hahaha. It makes it special."

He replied, "Mumbling? I don't understand. Now you are making me feel shy. You don't like my accent."

She replied, "It's not your accent. Sometimes, you are speaking too close to the mics, it's hard for me to understand. Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you."

He then replied, "I guess, I should get an earphone. So you can hear me clearly. It's fine."

She replied, "Cool :), that would be great."

He quickly asked on how she's doing, "So what have you been up to?"

She's having a bi-monthly check to her chiropractor. Her neck is stiff. She had scoliosis. She told him that she goes to the Chiropractor every month to correct her posture. He was confused, "What's wrong? I thought you had a massage the other day. Your posture?"

She replied, "Yes I did, but it doesn't help with the posture and the stiffness."

He begins to understand her, "Wow... ok. So what're your plans for today?"

She replied, "Will be busy today because I have to return the concert stuff to the warehouse."

He replied, "Seems you would be very busy today."

She replied, "Yeah :) Which is good. Your day has been good?"

He replied, "I guess... I have to rest my head now. It's late here."

She agrees with him and added, "Ok. Good night :) Hope you have a nice sleep."

He replied, "Thanks baby and do have a nice day."

She then attached her recent duck face picture with the robe and the glasses, "<attached: 00000471-PHOTO-2020-03-05-12-43-47.jpg>"

He replied, "I love you, baby. Wish I could kiss those lips. You look sexy and different."

She laughs. She thought, 'This is getting intense.' but she replied to him, "Aww... I love you too. <kiss emoji>, Really? What's the different about?"

He replied, "Maybe because of the glasses."

She replied, "I see... I'm wearing glasses every day :)"

He then replied, "Really wish I'm there with you."

She was in awe of his reply. She does miss him. She then added, "Me too :), come sooner. Hahaha."

He then added, "I like your robe."

She's like, "Wow ok... I thought he wants to go to bed earlier?" so she replied to him, "Thanks... I bought it in Sydney years ago... You haven't sleep yet?"

And then he suddenly asked this random question out of nowhere, "When is the last time did you have sex?"

She thought, "Wow. I don't know where this will lead me? I'm scared. Should I be honest and tell him?"

She then replied, "Umm... I forgot, maybe a month ago? with my ex. But why did you ask? How about you?"

He simply replied, "I want you."

She was nervous to reply to him so she just replied with, "I see." and added, "How about you? When is the last time you have sex?" and tease him with, "Come here, babe..."

He then replied, "So you want me as well... Umm, it's been a while tho."

She replied, "Of course... I want you. I see."

He replied, "Your just on my mind, baby. Really wish I could have you all by my self now. Send me more of those pictures."

When he texted her this, she was outside having lunch with one of her friends. So the timing for this wasn't perfect for the both of them to connect more intimately. She was a bit scared as well. Like what pictures? Nudes? Oh no. She thought to her self that.

So she replied to him,"I only have one hehe... I sent it because I took that selfie for you."

He then replied to her, "I'm horny. You should help me out here. I want you, baby. "

She nervously laughed and asked him, "Hahaha... just because of one pic?"

He answers, "Now she laughs at me...."

She replied, "I don't know what to say, Baby... I've tried phone sex before and it doesn't work for me. "

He replied, "So tell me what works for you"

She then replied, "I think when you come here, you know :)"

And she closes her phone. At this stage, her friend has come over for lunch. They discussed things about boys and music in general. She still thought about him and his desire to have phone sex with her. She thought, "Wow, this is getting too much. What should I do? I love him, but I'm not ready to do stuff like that."

After her friend came over, she begins to text him again, "Are you awake?" like nothing is happening.

If you notice, this time she's leading the conversation instead of him. At this stage, she has become attached to him in some ways that she's been waiting for him for all of her days. It still feels weird for her but at the same time, she's into it. Her logic is still thinking that she doesn't trust him but her heart and instincts say otherwise.

After a while, he then replied to her, "Yes baby. I'm up."

She replied to him, "I miss you"

He replied, "Same here."

She told him that she's going to the warehouse to return the concert stuff back.

He replied, "I guess the warehouse is not that far from you."

She replied, "Umm... About 30 mins drive..." and added, "I followed you on Instagram. "

He just replied with shock emoji and then went offline for about 3 hours. And then he texted her, "Hey baby. I went for a little stroll... Just got back. How are you doing? What have you been up to? "

She replied, "Heyy... How was the stroll? I'm at the gas station at the moment."

He replied, "Oh, you are on your way to the warehouse."

She replied, "Yupp"

He then added, "I want to go have my coffee and then plan for the day."

She texted him, "Have fun."

After taking care of the concert stuff back at the warehouse. One hour later, she then texted him, "Hey baby. I'm home now."

Not for long, he replied to her, "Hey. How was it? Much traffic I guess."

She replied to him, "Yes, traffic for one hour but I got to sing in my car which is good....Having dinner now..."

He laughs.

He then asked her, "What are you having for dinner?"

She replied, "It's like chicken pressed mozzarella or Ayam Geprek."

Then she attached a photo of what she's eating to him, "<attached: 00000583-PHOTO-2020-03-05-21-20-33.jpg>" and added, "Food here is cheap."

He replied, "I see... nice camera tho. What phone do you use?"

She's curious what's the motive of him asking the type of her phone was but she just replied, "I use iPhone 8+, how about you?"

He replied, "I used an iPhone 11. Your food looks tasty."

She replied, "It is tasty...That's really cool :) I think you're camera is better than mine. Hahaha..."

They begin to discuss about their favourite food, "Do you like spicy food?" - she asked.

He answers, "Wow I love spicy foods." and she replied, "That's cool, you will blend in with Indonesian food well then..."

He then asked her, "What's your favourite dish in Indonesia?"

She simply answered, "The chicken pressed and Padang food." She then attached the photo of Padang Food to him that she got from Google, "<attached: 00000603-PHOTO-2020-03-05-21-52-25.jpg>."

He texted, "Did you cook this?"

She answers, "Nope. This is just to show you what Padang food looks like. But I can cook some :)"

He replied, "Wow, you must be a good cook."

She answers, "If I follow the recipe right yes... hahaha"

There's no reply from him for about 30 minutes, and then she changes the conversation from food to their zodiac sign.

At first, she thought that he is an Aquarius, just like her favourite singer, Harry Styles, but turns out he's a Pisces and she attached a picture of their compatibility rates, "<attached: 00000612-PHOTO-2020-03-05-22-49-55.jpg>."

He then replied to her, "Wow, that means we are compatible."

She answers, "Yes. Do you want to call me?" She's longing to hear his voice.

He replied, "I can't talk at the moment. Let's chat."

She replied, "Ok. Are you busy at the moment?"

He replied, "Would call you when I get home. I'm somewhere."

She then agrees with him.

She told him about her day, "I bought new clothes today from Uniqlo."

He simply replied, "Wow. I would like to see what you look like on them."

She replied, "It's just a cardigan and one pant. Hahaha. Very casual."

He replied, "Ouuu... one pant? What are you trying to do? Get me excited?"

She laughs. "I mean it's pants. Sorry, bad English."

He replied, "Ohhhh.... don't mind my dirty mind."

She then asked him, "Hahaha... what are you thinking?"

He replied, "Nevermind..."

Time past by quickly, it's already midnight for her timezone. So she's saying goodnight to him.

She replied, "Alright, I'm going to bed... Good night x"

He replied, "Goodnight baby. Driving back home now..."

She tried to sleep but can't so she texted him two hours later, "Heyy... I can't sleep."

He then replied, "I would chat you up once I get back home."

She agrees with him, "Ok, drive safe."

Two hours later, she texted him, "Are you home yet?"

He replied, "Yeah baby... Just finished having lunch."

She replied, "Yay finally... I was waiting for you. Hahaha. Nice lunch?"

He replied, "Oh yes."

She then tells him, "I'm falling asleep but can't sleep because I was looking forward to our chat :)" And she shares a song with him. It's You Are The Reason by Calum Scott and then she added, "Been waiting to share this song with you."

"Awww.... am here baby.."

"Should we do a call?" - she misses him.

"I just got home, trying to put some stuff together."

She understands so she texted, "I see. Chat then."

He replied, "Yeah, that works. I'm feeling too tired to do anything, but I need to shower. Seems like a chore right now."

She replied, "You must have been very busy today."

He replied, "Was a stressful day. Can't complain though, it was productive."

She gave him encouragement, "You can tell me about it?"

But there was no reply from him.

So she texted, "I'm sleepy now... chat with you soon x"

This time he replies, "Love you, baby."

She smiles and replies to him, "Love you..."

And there you go, they've become attached to each other day by day. She even said, "It's hard when you are not online :(" to him when he doesn't reply for two hours or the whole day.

She begins to feel for him deeply as he does with her but with intentions.
