1 Chapter One

The night was beautiful as usual. The blue sky really fitted the event for today, the feast for the goddess of nature, Asta. Everything was literally in the color blue, just like the color of Asta's eyes and hair. This was known as the goddess' symbol.

Alaya arrived at the town center with her father, the ruler of Kalikas. Alaya was exceptionally beautiful but looked really different. Some of the people can't even help but look at her and ignored her father.

Her silver-white straight hair was nowhere near to the curly blue hair of the residents of the country. Even her father has blue hair. The only similarity found between her and the people are her golden eyes. Still, she was the most beautiful woman in the country.

The Kalika or the resident of Kalikasan was known for their beautiful curly blue hair and their great strategies in war. Still, their patron god was not the god war but the goddess of nature as they solely rely on the enormous amount of resources on Hiwaga forest.

When they arrived at the stage, Handog, Alaya's father gave a small speech then let the people start enjoying the festival and some of the sacred dance also started.

Alaya looked at the people's happy faces, thinking that one day she will rule this small but great country.

She was really looking up to bring her innovations and see the nation to flourish and advance, to the point that her country will be difficult to ignore. She really hates how their neighboring country treats them.

Kalikasan was located at the center of the map that's also the reason of its enormous amount of resources that other countries covet. Still, they were treated like they bring epidemic. They were isolated by some powerful countries leaded by Vzaneshka which was their neighboring country.

Alaya noticed that she was left alone in the corner by her parents. Her friend was also missing. Fortunately, she saw her mother from afar. Her mother who she deeply admire. Malaya was her mother, but she didn't have her golden hair.

When she was just a child she even wondered if she's just adopted but when she finally knew better. She realized that she looked just like her mother.

As she was just alone she decided to go after her mother who now entered the meeting room near the town center. She thought that it was weird at first. Like, why would her mother go there in the first place?

As she walks by she started to hear words that she knew but was really weird to hear coming from her father's mouth.

"This might be the last Fiesta that we will be holding. The war we will be taking might not succeed...and if ever that happens. Malaya, you know what to do." Handog said to her wife. Malaya just nodded.

She never thought that all the hardship she endured will just go down the drain. She smiled. At least, her daughter will be safe.

'War?' Alaya asked herself. Just how come she never noticed? She was the heir of the country. If she never even notice this how about the other future problems?

"Alaya? I was wondering where you went to. So you were just here." She heard Baha said. Baha was her bestfriend.

Hearing the loud voice of Baha, Handog and the other chiefs looked at the door. When one of them opened it, Alaya's back was revealed, she was looking at Baha with inexplicable gaze. She looked back at them then sighed.

Alaya looked at her mother who had no expression on her face while her father was looking at her sadly.

Something was really wrong this time and Alaya didn't know what to feel. Its either to be mad that they didn't trust her enough to tell her these problems or to be scared because she was caught eavesdropping.
