Shrine of the False God

I'm thinking about him activating one of his many systems and making him have his fourth fully active system.

I have thoughts on activating a system that one author used in a long running fanfic before dropping it entirely and that being the Delivery system, though with some edits as to when it can make a requests for him to do such delivery.

But if you guys have other suggestions on any other system you guys have seen used in other types of media then I will probably implement them in the future.

"Alright lady and gentleman, all aboard my magic ride." Romm said theatrically as we arrived at his van.

"…. You don't go try selling candy to children out of this thing do you?" I say pointing at his sketchy looking van.

"Pfft!" Miko actually had to cover her mouth to keep herself from laughing as she also saw it looked a lot like a creeper van as well.

"…. No I don't, nor do I enjoy such slander being thrown my way like this, I work a legitimate business and sell products that actually help those more spiritually inclined than others thank you very much, now if the jokes are done will you please get into the van?" He said to me as his eyebrow twitched a little before getting into the driver seat where we both just shrugged and got into the van as well.

"Now then, before we go I have to ask, Yamada-kun are you intentionally letting that ghost live off you like that?" Romm said as he turned and looked at me with a slight squint in his eyes.

"Ghost? But I didn't see any-" Miko said a bit surprised that their was a ghost haunting without her seeing it, but as she pulled off her glasses.

"BOOO!" Shinigami decided to play a prank and it actually made Miko jump, but not scream out, as she surprised her.

"Ahahahaha! Made you jump! Master it's so funny to freak out people when they can see me." Shinigami began to roll around in the air from making Miko Jump in fright.

Now I honestly wasn't surprised they could see her, although she is considered a part of my system as it's administrator, she is still a ghost and thus can be seen by them which was the same in her original world as one of the Master Detectives was a spiritualist to find the name of the killers most of the time from the ghosts of the dead and he could see her, so them seeing her isn't surprising.

"Her? Don't worry about her she isn't a problem you need to worry about, she's more a threat to the dead then she is to the living." I say leaving it vague description of what she was which would be all I would say.

"Well so long as it's not a threat to us I don't really care." Romm says as he turns around and starts up the van before we head off towards the location of the False Gods shrine.

A bit later, we arrived at the base of the mountain leading towards the location of the shrine hidden behind the veil of death.

"Come on, it's best we get this finished sooner rather than later." Romm said as he held his top hat before he took the lead towards the shrine while i and Miko followed behind.

There were plenty of these ghastly ghosts around the area, but as I was letting my Spiral powers naturally flow out they were like flys attracted to a bug zapper as they were dying just from coming near us and thus were being sent off properly to the afterlife instead of wandering the earth as they had been.

"….? Oh? Well I didn't expect to see you here master, what? Were you thinking of trying to come and deal with the shrine of behalf of young Miko here?" Romm said as he saw a figure of an old woman wearing a hood wearing many rosary beads on her neck and wrists along with several other spiritual related items on her body.

"Wait, aren't you that old lady who tried selling me those beads?" Miko pointed out and it was indeed the old lady that you can meet at one of the shopping centers downtown who sold real spiritual protections to people and sometimes help people see their dead love ones and get closure as a result.

"I am, but it doesn't mean I'm a hack like you probably thought I was young lady, but it seems you found an even stronger suppressant than anything I could make with those glasses of yours, where did you even get that?" She said in surprise as she could tell that those glasses had a heavy suppressing power on them.

"I was the one who gave them, I won't go into details as how they were made as that's a trade secret of mine, now I think it's best we get this over with before darkness falls, those things are strongest at night after all." I say as I lead the way this time.

Now if this was the original story Romms Master, the Godmother of Downtown or Takeda Mitsue as is her real name, would have argued that Miko shouldn't get involved in this and that they can handle it, but she saw how easily ghosts got ripped to shreds by getting near me, she had honestly nothing to say as we all just headed up the mountain before we felt ourselves pass through something before stairs appeared before us.

"Looks like the shrine is up ahead, Miko, let me handle that False God, Romm and Granny will deal with those Female Fox spirits, all you have to do is when you see the chance, get into that shrine and destroy whatever that sacred object is, it will kill the False god for good and the contract it has on you will break as a result." I say as I look at everyone here.

"Who are you calling Granny? Call me Mitsue-san, but that's probably the best course of action we can do here." Mitsue chides me before agreeing with what I said.

So with that said we all proceeded up the mountain, up the steps of the shrine before finally reaching the top most steps upon which the shrine lay.

Not far from us was an old shrine and infront of it stood the two female fox women who stood there, waiting for us.

*Jingle*

But soon behind them fog began to form and a large presence of a beast like creature appeared before us in its true form.

Seeing it I had to take off my rims on my face as I looked at this thing before us all.

"Your one Ugly Motherfucker."
