13 Hopes Peak Development Program

After everything that happened at Monthly Shonen GonGon we talked about what I would earn, and seeing potential in both of my mangas, with Food Wars being the better of the two she kept it the same for no matter the manga I make now and in the future.

I would be paid 14,000¥ (100$) per page I draw which is generous for a beginning Mangaka as they usually make for their first manga around 8500¥ (60$) per page they draw but that was mostly due to my status as an official Ultimate at Hopes Peak after I had showed her the evidence that it was true along with my extremely great detail for the images I draw in my manga to earn so much.

On top of that I would earn 15% of all the sales on my Volumes sold through them so if the sales are high I would make passive money from there sales and since I had the first volume of Food wars done which had 209 pages for the first volume which was one of the shorter volumes in the series only having 5 chapters for the first volume but it's known for its rather long chapters.

So after some talks and writing down information that was needed for my job included my direct deposit into my bank account and everything set I would gain 2,926,000¥ (21,077$) for the creation of the first volume that would be sold for 2776.39¥ (20$) so I would earn roughly 416¥ (2.99$) from each one sold.

Which isn't a lot but really the most money a Mangaka gains is from what they get paid per page they draw so the Royalties are secondary most of the time and since it's a monthly publisher where Volumes are usually published in a month, but they also have the normal manga magazines that people can buy cheaply to see the next upcoming chapter but Mangaka's will only get paid by the page until they publish their volumes to get their royalties while the company gets the full amount of any and all magazines they sell which helps them recoup their money easily.

But with everything signed and set up I was now a part of Monthly Shonen GonGon, after that I left my manuscript copies and allowed them to to edit them to fit perfectly into the publishing of my first volume for Food award before I headed home for the night.

The next day it was lunch time at my middle school and at this time me and Saki were eating with each other as I was her only real friend by now in our school, we were eating alone on the rooftop eating our bento's with my healthy meal that I was eating like usual, though I noticed that Saki looked at it with a really hungry look.

"Yamada-kun, are you also an amazing cook? Because all of that looks soo good!" She said as she quickly wiped the drool off her face as she had sparkles in her eyes.

"Oh no, no, I'm not that good of a cook, one of my senpais at Hopes Peak is the Ultimate Chef so he makes the best of foods for everyone in his class and he's helping me lose weight by making healthy food for me to enjoy for three meals a day, though it's not as good as when he makes it fresh." I wave it off before I eat some of my delicious karrage that was a part of my lunch.

"Want some?" I say offering her some of my bento to her, she hesitated before she used her chopsticks and took a piece of my Karrage chicken and quickly ate it as her eyes widened in amazement.

"This is some of the best food I've ever had…. I would be nice if I could eat this all the time!" She said as she held her cheeks as she loved the food.

"Well I think that won't be a problem if what I talked with the Principal of Hopes Peak goes through then you will be seeing more of the main course students besides me." I say as I push up my glasses with a glint in them.

'…. Oh, ohhh holy shit! I didn't even think of that! By me wanting to save Saki by getting her a free scholarship into Hopes Peak by setting my plan in motion with Jin's help I made it so that the Main and Reserve courses would be integrated with each other, and because of that I opened the way for Fuyuhiko's sister to be able to stay primarily with her brother in the main course thus saving her from her untimely demise like it would have in the original story!' I exclaim in my head as the shock was clear in my eyes at what I had accidentally done to save another woman, even if it was unintentional.

But Saki didn't really notice as she was subconsciously stealing my food and eating it with a face with pure bliss as she enjoyed the food.

But after getting out of my momentary stupor I finished off the last of my food to Saki's dismay before lunch was over for the day and we went back to class and the day passed in a flash and it was back to working out some more.

"Man this stuff just gets harder everyday…." I say to myself while in the shower as I cool off from all the intense training I went under as Nekomaru pushed me harder with my training while he kept pushing me to my limits everytime as I always need to do a few reps more each time to show my steady progress, though I do notice the loss of weight as my face is beginning to get thinner little by little.

"I'm gonna need to get smaller pants soon." I say after putting on my pants and feeling them being looser than before I headed out to eat.

Everyone was their like usual though it was just me, Nekomaru, Akane, Mikan and TeruTeru today so besides needing to protect my food from Akane I just had a nice average meal.

After that I went to meet the Principal who was expecting me after all, "Yamada-kun, good your here." He says as he looks up at me from his computer as I sit on the sofa in front of his desk.

"Well with your plan and both convincing from me and former Principal Tengen when I brought up the plan to the school board we were able to get the majority to agree with the creation of the Hopes Peak Development Plan to allow the Reserve and Main Courses to merge with each other in some ways to help develop those who wish for skills similar to the other Ultimates and to polish the skills of the current Ultimates and all of their talents as well." Jin goes onto explain to me before pulling out a letter and pushing it towards me, which I get up and grab that.

"That's for Saki Yoshida, that is her invitation to Hopes Peak Academy next year as well as her completely free tuition to attend school here." He says what's inside which I put away into my backpack as I shake his hand.

"Thank you Principal Kirigiri for doing this for me." I say genuinely to him as he was a literal life saver for me for what he did.

"Think nothing of it, it's the least I could do for you Yamada-kun, but that's all I wanted to say and wanted to hand to you today, so if their is anything you need of me just come and ask." He says as he goes back to take his seat while I head for the door.

"Of course I'll ask you if I need anything else Principal Kirigiri, but I'll see you later." And with that I left his office with a happy smile on my face as I headed out of school and went home.

"Happy day, happy day, it's a happy day for me!" I danced around all happy like as I had all the energy in the world as I completed such a Secret Quest completely on accident as to gain an Ultra Rare Gacha ticket that for completing it.

And not only that but I got a whooping 10,000sp as a bonus for completing the mission as well which made even happier.

"Well…. No time like the present! System use the Ultra Rare Gacha Ticket!" I say as suddenly a wheel with a large selection of powers all on it all of them were powerful in their own way, some mind breakingly powerful but I soon realized as it was multiple sets a circles for the types and then worlds related to those powers.

First wheel had four Main types of Powers, Super Powers, Alien Powers, Magic, Religious Powers before it rapidly began to spin before my eyes before it slowly stopped.

"Magic, nice, now it's worlds? Okay let's hope it's good!" I say as I see plenty of different worlds where Magic is prominent within them as it spined and spined before coming to a stop.

"Fate?! Oooo am I getting True Magic?! Please, please, please let it be true magic!" As I begged as I saw the plethora of options available as I just begged to get one of the true magics in the world of fate but-

"Noooo!!! My True Magic! Why have you forsaken me! Curse my shit luck!" I say as I fall to my knees as I see the final result which wasn't terrible and was actually good, but it's nothing in front of the True Magics within the Fate Series.
