Hanging out with Saiki

"'I still can't get over the fact that you're the one who made this manga…. Haaa it makes me hungry everytime I see the food….'" Saiki mumbled to me as he was reading volume four of Food Wars while I was busy playing on his PS5

"Well I told you, one of my friends inspired me into making this manga, I mean I even leave small real life stories at the end about things me and my friends do as fun little things to see, TeruTeru has been getting a lot of attention from the ladies as a result of his notoriety from my manga and that he's a real Ultimate Chef after all." I say as I keep playing the game.

"'But still, I'm surprised that I'm aquatinted with the actual guy who made this manag in the first place'" he responds back as he keeps reading.

"Aquatinted? I thought you'd at least consider me a friend by now at least." I say as I turn my head to look at him.

"'Well you do get me nice coffee jellies whenever you come over, though it was annoying seeing my parents crying that I had actually gotten a friend in their eyes.'" He says with his face showing a bit of irritation with how his parents reacted to seeing Saiki bringing a real friend home as he had been mostly a loner his life.

*Flashback*

*Knock Knock Knock* I knocked on the door to Saiki's house, it was my first time going to visit him.

This was about a few weeks after I had met him, at this point I was still rather heavyset, but I was thinning out at least.

"Coming!" I heard a woman say as I h and foot steps approaching the door before opening it to reveal a housewife with short black hair answering the door.

"Oh? And who might you be young man?" She said looking at me questioningly, but I saw she didn't have disgust in her eyes for seeing my appearance.

"Is this Saiki's house? I came over to hang out with him, if that's okay." I said as I scratched the back of my head.

"!!! Oh my! Saiki…. My Saiki…. Has a friend?! Honey! I have great news!" She says before she grabs my arm and begins dragging me into the house with immense strength, barely giving time for me to kick off my shoes as I was pulled in.

"Hon I'm busy with important work right now… now which type of shoe leather tastes better for my boss to wear, black loafers or brown?" Saiki's dad says to himself as he begins tasting different types of shoes.

(N) that's not a joke, he actually does stuff like that in the show as he is a huge brown noser when it comes to his bosses or anyone richer then him, he's a major suck up that wishes to succeed in the art of the suck up.

"Forget about that you idiot! Look! Saiki actually got a friend! A real friend that's actually coming to our house to hang out with him!" She says slapping the shoes away before she begins to shake him back and forth in absolute joy.

His eyes go wide in shock as he looks at me, "Is this true?! Are you really that pathetic, introverted, loner, go-"

*SMASH!*

"'What we're you saying dad? I must have been hearing wrong, it's almost like I heard you say you never want me to ever help you with anything stupid ever again? Well don't mind if I take you on that offer.'" Saiki said as he came down stairs after using his psychic powers to smash his dad head first through the ceiling for his remarks.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! Saiki I was just kidding about everything I said, you don't need to be that harsh with me right? Right?!" He says as he wiggles himself out from the ceiling before he kneels and grovels before his son.

"'….'" You can just see the disgust and contempt he has for his pathetic excuse of a father as he shakes his head.

"'I'm not helping with any of your stupid plans for a week.'" He says before walking over him and kicking him off to the side where he lay there defeated as a dark aura surrounded him.

"Yo Saiki, wanna hang out?"

"'Not particularly.'"

"I got coffee jelly."

"'What are you waiting for? Let's go upstairs already.'" He says after catching the Coffee jelly I toss him as I begin to go upstairs.

"Thanks for letting me stay Mrs. Kusuo." I said as I bowed my head to Saiki's mom before I headed up to follow after him.

His mother wiped her eyes with a happy smile on her face, "I'm just so happy my son actually has a friend." She mutters to herself before she goes off to makes snacks.

*FlashBack End*

"But at least your not annoying like *shiver* those people…. I really don't want to have to deal with them in the future…." Saiki says slightly freaked out that everything I said was true.

After we met the first time and I mentioned his future, he went into looking for those people specifically to see what was up with them, and he saw how they were all like and man was he annoyed with their personalities.

And these were the people he would need to deal with for the rest of Highschool as a result if he let things played out as they were, which made him depressed.

"I mean you can just reveal yourself as a strong Psychic and probably get an invite to Hopes Peak Academy like me, though you already know the draw backs of doing that as it's a hard gamble to do." I still gave him that option but it was a gamble when it came to the safety of him and his family.

The thing me and him were worried about was getting attention of the Mage Association as they would no doubt hunt him down to experiment on his body if they got the chance, and would definitely hold his family hostage to make him compliant.

Though at the same time if I pitted Saiki against someone like Tatsumaki from OPM, I would say hands down he would win, because unlike her he has control of all types of psycho-kinetic powers where as she has a limited range of powers but can use those powers to an extreme extent, but he has all of them but also can use them to an extreme extent if he so wishes.

"'I know, and I doubt it would be as annoying as my Highschool will be, but still I want to stay low-profile and just live mostly a normal life for the most part.'" He said as he stated his reasons once again about his powers.

Becoming an ultimate is purposely sticking out in a sense and he doesn't want that attention put on him as it would be even more annoying in the long run for him.

If you had to pick three years of being around annoying people for Highschool or being hounded and annoyed by people for the rest of your life because of what you are and once being at a school that got not just the nations but the entire world's attention? Yeah I think it's no contest he'd rather deal with the three years instead of a lifetime of annoyance.

"Well I'm fine with whatever, just the option is still there, and you can still go their even if your in your 2nd year of Highschool." I say after putting in the combo moves and defeating my opponent before I turn to look at him.

"Hey, wanna go get some WcRonalds?" I say after putting the game on pause.

"'Sure, haven't had any in awhile anyway.'" He says tossing the manga to the side as me and him get up and head out to go get some food to eat.

'…. Why do I get the feeling I'm going to meet other story characters again?' I think to myself, not projecting it so Saiki can't hear me, as we head out of his house and over to WcRonald's.
