28 Goodbye for Now

After giving Mother Carmel that warning to get her and her Orphanage out of Elbaf it was about time for me to go home.

So I went over to the sleeping kid LinLin and nudged her a little, after becoming a giant again, to wake her up.

"Hmmm….? Oh it's big brother…." She said sleepily as she rubbed her eyes as she started to wake up.

"Hey LinLin, I came to say goodbye, I came to get you your food and to talk with Mother Carmel, and since I have done both it's time I have to go back home." I said as I leaned down and rubbed her head.

But hearing that instantly made her eyes widen before they got watery as she latched onto my leg, "Nooo! Don't leave! We just became friends! You even called yourself my big brother, that means we're family now! I don't want to lose anymore family…." She began to cry out as a torrent of tears streamed down her face.

I had to use my Spiral energy to keep her from breaking my leg from her extremely strong grip, even with my increased endurance thanks to gigantification.

"Oh LinLin don't cry! I really don't want to go but I have too, to tell the truth LinLin I'm not from this world, but I want you to keep it a secret and I will tell you where im really from." I said deciding to tell her the 'truth' as to where I'm from.

"Not…. *Sniff* from this world?" She said as she looked up at me with a questioning look on her face with what I said.

"You see LinLin, there is a race of people that live beyond the planet itself, they exist up in the sky way, way up and when you look at the night sky you will see it, it's the brightest light in the night sky, my home is on the moon, and a little known fact that most people on the planet know is that there are not just one but six moons! Can you believe that?" I say as her tears begin to dry up as they begin to sparkle with wonder in her eyes.

"Your from the Moon! I didn't know people lived on the moon, I didn't know there were more than one in the sky either!" Her sadness was gone by now as she was surprised at what I told her and took it as truth.

"Yes, well most of the moons are just floating rocks with no breathable air, the moon that is furthest from the planet is the only one that can hold life on it, but I need to go home soon or else I'll never be able to go back to my people, so I have to leave, but how about I make it up to you." I say as I rub her head.

"Once a year, on your birthday, no matter where on this planet you are I shall send a gift to you, and when your older, much older than you are now I hope I had found a permanent way for me to come between this planet and the moon, but don't worry the thing about us Lunars is that we age really slowly, even slower than Giants, decades down here could be years up there, but don't worry I'll be able to easily keep my promise and give you gifts." I say as she gets more and more excited.

"Ooooh Okay! But we got to pinky promise on it!" She says holding out her pinky to me.

I smile before I link my pinky with hers and sealing my promise to her, "Oh and I should give you this, this will help me locate you so I can send my gifts to you in the future." I say reaching into my shirt and buying a tracker in the shape of a pearl necklace and hanging it around her neck.

"And this is for your last birthday, think of it as a late birthday gift." I say reaching behind my back to buy a pink hat that looks similar to the one she where's when she was young with the rocks pirates.

"Heehehe! Thanks for the Hat Big Brother!" She said with a bright happy smile on her face as she held onto it.

"Yup, those look good on you, but it's about time for me to go, I'll send you your next gift come your next Birthday LinLin." I say before hugging her and patting her back before letting her go.

"Bye bye Big Brother! Oh wait! You didn't tell me your name!" She called out as she watched me shrink me and my truck back down to normal size.

As I was opening the door I turn back to her and smile, "Hifumi, you can call me Big Brother Hifumi, but goodbye for now LinLin, I'll send you your present on your next birthday!" I say with a smile as I wave her off before hopping in and turning on the semi and began to leave the Sheep's house.

And after getting out of sight of the orphanage the portal opened as I shot through to return to my home world.

"Wooo, alright let's go home, I'll check the rewards when I get back." I say with a grin before I head towards home.

A few hours later I had returned home before relaxing and looking at my reward for completing my Delivery.

My eyes widened at what I received, I knew whatever you delivery to someone you are eligible to gain a trait specifically from them and have it become a part of yourself, sure I would have preferred her level of Conquers Haki or Armament Haki, but in her base state, without strengthening it with haki, her body could easily hold out against people attacking with haki attacks, and only when it was slightly dangerous would she need to activate her own and could easily block the most devastating of attacks coated in the strongest of Haki.

"Well, now I guess I don't have to worry about anyone in this world even possibly hurting me…. Well besides Servants from the Fate series that is…. And maybe those Dead Apostles…. And any Magician that can use True Magic…. But besides that no one can hurt me in this world that way, hell with who I am I could survive the entire execution process Junko went through without being killed by how Unkillable I am." I say to myself as I lean back and relax.

"Now next up is some fun in the sun." I say with a smirk as I begin to anticipate the nice summer vacation we will all have together.

Nothing could possibly go wrong.
