137 Gig: Biotechnica Infiltration

After stopping at Rebecca's place to get Briar all cleaned up from her blood and some new clothes that I keep in my car for her we all went back to Lizzie's a bit later to see Maine and the rest.

When we all came in Maine and Dorio were talking while Pilar was watching a BD while Sasha was still on her laptop.

"You Fuckin limp dick bastard! Couldn't you go find your own room to watch porn and not all around us! Fuck Head!" Rebbeca jumps up before smashing her foot right into her brothers gut.

"GUKAH! The fuck was that for you crazy bitch?!" He cry's out before cutting the BD he was watching before getting all up in his little sis's face while looking pretty pissed.

"Alright you two break it up." Doris said getting between the two and pushing them apart from each other.

"Rebecca shouldn't be jumpin to conclusions, Pilar was watching a BD around our next gig we're about to do, specfically to know what will come up against on this gig." Maine cuts in and tells her the truth.

"Oh? Then why was he drooling if it wasn't something that makes this dumbass horny huh?" And she was right he was drooling which he quickly wiped his mouth.

"Well sorry that the lady who was leading the viewer around had big ass and tits that jiggled in all the right places as she walked arou- GUHKAH! You fucking bitch?!" He shouted out as he got kicked again as they start fighting again as Doris and Maine pulled them apart while we just watched.

"Then get yourself a girlfriend or something already! At this rate you'll fuckin die alone in some back alley somewhere!" Rebecca said with fire in her voice.

"Alright both you dumbasses sit the fuck down! You both can kiss and make up later or some shit! We got a gig to plan out here!" Maine said slamming his huge bionic hand on the table to stop the siblings bickering as they just clicked there tongues and looked away from each other.

"Good, now as I was saying we're doing a infiltration gig for our client through Rogue herself, client is anonymous but most likely another Corp who wants this data, now originally it was going to be just me and Sasha for this job, but I think Hifumi here is a good third person to bring in on this job as cover for Sasha as she gets the job done on site." He goes onto explain before handing me a shard as I insert it into my neural port as it gives me the info of the Biotechnica's building in Corpo Plaza.

"The data center is up on the 25th floor, luckily for us they have gotten us easy access to that floor so all you got to do is get up there and get the data on some financial records on their CHOOH2 use along with info on a new immunosuppressant prototype 0.091." He said before continuing.

"You two will go in while I attach a Jammer to a hidden location on the back of the building so none of the security will notice the data breach allowing you guys to get the data and get out with them being none the wiser." Said before finishing his explanation.

"Seems simple enough I guess, so are we starting this now then?" I say as I get up and crack my neck, it was night time right now and since everything thing is open 24/7 in this city the Biotechnica building should be open at this time as well.

"Yeah, sooner we're done the better and then we can all party at the Afterlife afterwards too!" Maine said with a smile as we all smiled back.

"Well then, let's do this." I say before I walk out of the room while Sasha and Maine came right after as we followed him to his car before heading to our Gig.

A bit later we were at the entrance to Biotechnica as we walked on in, luckily besides some cameras there was no security around, though turrets could pop out of the ceiling and cut anyone down if they so chose.

"Maine, we're in" I said through thought communication on the holo.

"Alright, wait for my signal before taking the elevator to the 25th floor." He said back to us as we walked to the elevator, their was a receptionist but she seemed to busy reading a magazine to give us any of her attention as we past her on by, the lobby and elevators are public space but unless you have the right clearance you can't get to the floors that your not allowed on.

"Annnd…. We're good, now head on up, this thing is only good for 15 minutes, once the times up the security will be alerted and you will have to fight your way out." He tells us as we both step into the elevator and head for the 25th floor.

"Will we get paid less if we're detected or something?" I decided to ask as we made our way up.

"No, all they told us was to get the data, whether it's quiet or loud doesn't really matter from what Rogue told us, but things might get heated if you guys get caught as Corpos don't like it when Mercs of rival Corps are all up in their biz, but you both got Kiroshis that will blur your faces to cameras after all so that will help at least." He says as we reach the 25th floor.

As we step out we see all the robot security and cameras are inactive, "Follow me." Sasha said as she lead me towards the data center before we stepped in and shut the door behind us and locking it tight.

"Cover me while I get the info we need." She says before putting down her bag and taking off her upper sweatshirt leaving her only in her latex netrunner gear as she pulled out a headset while connecting it to the database as she got to work.

I saw plenty of screens change rapidly on the monitor while I see her moving her hands in the air as the screens move with her hands, I guess that's what it's like being a Netrunner after all, but since I'm not all I can do at best is deactivate cameras, cause distractions with electronics and reboot peoples optics at most since I have a very barebones cyber deck on me.

The screens keep changing before we come across the two files we are after, but they had heavy encryptions, but Sasha was a pro at this so she quickly broke through those in only a few minutes before securing the data.

"Got the Data Maine, sending to you." Sasha said as she gave me a thumbs up, but as she was about to put her headset away so we can get out of here she noticed something else.

"Sasha?" I look at her and at the screens I could see before a encrypted file on a drug called Securicine popped up as I looked at her face which got stern.

Soon enough she hacked the file before looking at its contents, "What's taking you both so long? The Jammer only has 3 minutes left! Get out of there now!" Maine shouted at us both while we looked at the data on the file.

"…. Sorry Maine." She says before cutting the line between her and Maine as she saw what the file said on Securicine.

It said it causes Neurodegeneration in those who use it but it's too profitable for the company so it was never taken off the shelves but because of that nobody knew about this company secret, I looked at her and she both deep in thought, sad and angry at this info.

"Hifumi! What the hell is she doing?!" Maine yelled at me wanting to know what the fuck is going on.

"I…. Don't know but if I had to guess this is something personal for her, don't worry Maine I'll get her out of here alive." I say before cutting the call on my end, definitely pissing off Maine but that's not the point right now.

"Hifumi you…. You don't need to stay with me for this…. I don't want you getting killed because of me and-" she goes onto say but I just place my hand on her head as she looks up at me.

I just smile, "Are job is a dangerous one but when one's in a crew you don't turn your back on one another when one needs help the most, that's my creed with whoever I work with." I say before the lights began to flash red as the robotic guards were alerted to our presence.

"Now do what you have to cause no matter what I won't leave you here to die, wanna know why?" I say pulling out a tech double barrel shotgun from under my jacket as I went and aimed at the door.

"Because that's what Chooms are for." I say as I charge up my gun as the robotic guards got to the door ready to bust it down.

"And I Don't Fear the Reaper!"
