Rock Their Worlds

"I'm going to satisfy my curiosity", Minho replied with a soft smile...the first smile on his face since the incident at the auditorium. Auston was taken aback. He didn't expect Minho to smile all of a sudden. The reason was because anytime incidents like that involving his father happened in the past, Kim Minho would usually become a totally different person. He would hardly talk to anyone and would get lost in thought most of the time. It normally took him weeks to return to normal and smile again, or if his mum was around, then it would take a few days. However, what happened today was a huge blow to him, which was why they were worried to death about him. But here he was, smiling in less than 24 hours.

Auston even remembered the extent they'd gone to prevent any memory of his father from resurfacing. On father's day this year, Minjun and Zane had even pretended to forget all about it just so he and Minho wouldn't get hurt. Auston and Minho later scolded them when they found out, telling them that it wasn't their fault for whatever happened and that they should be free to celebrate stuff like that around them. "Let's leave now so the others don't worry too much", Kim Minho said snapping Auston out of his thoughts. "Yeah let's go", Auston replied with a slight smile. He was happy and relieved to see that Kim Minho seemed to be getting himself back.

After Nari had given Astrol that look of disappointment and hurt, she disappeared into the crowd and Astrol immediately went after her. She realized that Nari must've been hurt knowing that she had used her like that. When she finally caught up with her in the hallway, she reached out and held onto Nari's left shoulder, stopping her and making her turn around. "Nari, listen. I'm really sorry I didn't say anything about this to you and used you like that", Astrol spoke still trying to catch her breath. "Is that all you're sorry for?", Nari asked, making Astrol look at her with question marks in her eyes. "Am I meant to be sorry for any other thing?", Astrol asked still confused and Nari could only let out a deep sigh. "You still don't get it do you. Do you have any idea what the consequences are of what you did back there?. You even brought his dad into the picture, that's too unfair Astrol, you have no idea how much that affects him", Nari spoke making Astrol even more confused. Was Nari talking about Kim Minho?, why would that matter to her. If his Dad's behavior affected him so much, then why did he go ahead to talk bad about someone elses. 'Oh wait, Nari doesn't know about what happened yet', she remembered, and just when she was about to explain her reasons to her, Nari just sighed again and walked away. She tried calling after her but Nari just ignored her and left. Astrol couldn't believe that Nari was this upset with her, and it was all his fault. It was all that prince's fault!, she mused with clenched jaws.

It was the end of the school day already and Astrol waited till most of the students left before heading to the school gym to retrieve all the stuff she had used to make the video and execute her plans. She'd kept it in the spare gym locker that belonged to no one, since her school locker was no longer safe, and to avoid any form of implication.

She soon reached the locker room at the gym, and when she was sure that no one had followed her, she bent down and unlocked the locker at the bottom row. She started packing up all her stuff but paused suddenly. She'd already finished packing up everything when she realized that her flash drive was no longer with her. She then opened her bag and poured out everything as she started to look for it in the rubble. "Shit, where is it?", she muttered worriedly, when she suddenly heard a deep masculine voice from behind her causing her to freeze and slowly turn around.

"You mean this", the masculine voice uttered calmly, and Astrol was shocked to see Kim Minho standing there with the flash drive in his hand. 'Damn, how did he even follow me here?!'. "You're probably really happy catching me red handed like this, huh", Astrol said with a bitter smile. "Why?", Kim Minho asked. "Because now you can ruin me once and for all by telling everyone that I was the one who made that video", Astrol replied making Kim Minho crease his brows a little in confusion. "Why would I?", he asked next. "Why wouldn't you?", Astrol threw back, instead of answering his stupid question.

"Do you want me to?", Minho asked next making Astrol to lift an eyebrow at him. "Why are you here?", Astrol asked visibly irritated by his presence. She couldn't believe this prince was asking her if she wanted to be snitched. What was he even expecting her to say. He probably came here to taunt her face - to - face this time around. "Because I'm curious", Minho replied. "Curious about?", Astrol asked with raised eyebrows. "You", Minho replied unblinking with his hands in his pockets.

Astrol was a bit surprised by his reply, but she was also getting really frustrated. He kept a blank face the whole time and she couldn't read him at all. Even his silver grey eyes remained as calm as anything. So, instead of beating about the bush, she straightforwardly asked, "What do you want?". "Would you give it to me if I told you?", he asked instead and Astrol was already so close to loosing her patience because of his shallow replies.

"I need to know what it is first, don't you think?", she stated with an obvious fake smile. "Okay, let's be friends", Minho said next making Astrol nearly choke on her own saliva. What?! Be friends?...with him?, Ha! Maybe she was wrong, this prince wasn't just cruel, he was also completely out of his mind. She had no idea she was dealing with a mad man all this while. How could he even propose such a thing after all that he made her go through these past few weeks. She felt that he must be really crazy to think that she would agree to that. "Never", she replied in a stone cold voice.

"Why?", Minho asked again making the vein at her temple pop. "Why?, you want to know why! It's because I really hate you so much right now that's why", Astrol replied angrily in a manner full of resentment. The place fell silent for a while, before Minho spoke again. "If it's only right now, then it's fine", he said making the whole place fall silent again. They just stood there staring at each other. Astrol continuously kept on glaring at him with a scowl on her face. She couldn't even describe how much she hated him at that moment. He had made the past few weeks hell for her. He'd nearly made her lose her scholarship, he'd deliberately broken Bora's necklace, and he'd also successfully managed to create a rift between her and Nari to name a few. Her rage knew no bounds at that moment.

Kim Minho on the other hand, couldn't help but get more curious about her as he stared into her blazing crystal blue eyes burning with rage. They stood there facing each other, each exuding completely different auras. At last their two completely different worlds, or so it seemed, had finally collided. It was like fire and ice, a situation where one couldn't overshadow or overpower the other, fire would melt ice, but the water would eventually put out the fire in return. And just like that, they had finally met....a meeting that would soon rock their worlds.

They stayed there like that for some time, before Minho's phone suddenly beeped. He picked it up from inside his pocket, and once he saw the message from his driver stating that they were now in the parking lot, he switched it off and returned his gaze back to Astrol. "It's settled then, I guess I'll be seeing you around", he said with a smile before turning and walking away, leaving Astrol standing there and wishing she could slap that smile off his face so badly.

...

Kim Minho had arrived back home at Kim mansion an hour ago, and had already finished his check up with Dr Su. Dr Su was his psychologist, his mum had hired her, after his father got arrested, because his mental health was badly damaged by his father. Dr Su was also one of his mother's good friends, and had helped him a lot so far, though he still needed to see her occasionally since he hadn't fully recovered.

Ayra had just finished speaking with Dr Su and was glad that everything seemed to be fine. She called her earlier after what transpired at the auditorium because she could clearly see how affected her son was by it. She was happy to know that he'd recovered faster this time. "Are you sure you don't want me to do anything about the incident at school?", Ayra asked. She still felt very uncomfortable about not doing anything. "It's fine mum, really. Besides, everything was bound to come out one way or the other eventually", Minho replied. "Checkmate", he uttered next as he won their game of chess once again. Ayra just smiled widely at her son. Minho was very skilled in chess, her smile wavered, just like his father.
