Alex spent five more days inside the thatched hut. He was made to stay inside all throughout. It felt to him like they were hiding something from him.

The only company he got was that of Ava. Zyve came to the hut once in a while, and the thought of what Ava had said about him being younger than her made shivers to run down his spine whenever he looked at Zyve.

"Why do you keep staring at me like that?" Zyve had asked him one day.

Alex just stared at him, having no answer to his question. He found it hard to believe, and it also felt awkward for him to just ask Zyve if it was true.

He kept staring at Zyve, as if that would give him the chance to at least have a glimpse of Zyve's young self.

Zyve was starting to feel uncomfortable as Alex wouldn't stop staring at him. "Keep staring at me like that, and I'll not hesitate in piercing a knife deep into your heart."

"You couldn't, even if I let you." Alex teased.
