Chapter # 22 First Step

"Sir, A boy name Joy wants to meet you" servant informed Kevin.

"Send him here" Kevin replied. He was curious to know what he decide.

"Hello uncle" Joy entered the room.

"My son" Kevin hugged him.

"Cmon have a seat" Kevin present him a chair.

"Jack, bring some cookies and tea" Kevin told his servant.

"You asked a question uncle and here is my answer I want to make money." Joy informed Kevin about his answer.

" That's my brave boy. I know you will make the right choice" Kevin was so happy today his hardwork paid off. Few moments later servant served them with tea and cookies.

"Here. Enjoy the refreshment my boy" Kevin present a dish of cookies toward him.

"Let me tell you few things about the world and how it worked. There is nothing good and bad in this world it only depends on what people wants to think. What do you think about weapons and arms?" Kevin suddenly asked a question.

"Of course they are bad. They are used to kill people" Joy replied.

"For you its a bad thing. But what about the seller of arms? for him it is his business the more he sold the arms the more he get the money. So one thing you thought bad is a good thing for other" Kevin was now playing with the mind of Joy.

Yes, uncle Kevin you are right " Joy agreed with him.

"You know global arms industry is worth hundreds of billions of dollars right now. so why countries are buying them? and some are selling them if the are bad?" Kevin continue his lecture.

"I am getting your point uncle" Joy was completely under his influence.

"How much do you know about Victoria city?"

"Not much I'm very bad in history" Joy told the truth.

"Long time ago Victoria was a small under developed port city. There were other big port cities in the country so government didn't give much attention towards Victoria. After few years country experience economic boom and government felt the necessity of new ports to expand international trade. The government saw Victoria as a potential port which can be utilized for international trade. Soon government started expansion of the port. Thousand new jobs were created people came to Victoria from all over the country to find new jobs Soon the city of few hundred thousands became a city of millions of people. At that time a man name Thomas Shelton came from locava. He was a business man. He came here to start his business. But some bad guys didn't allowed him to work peacefully here. Then he utilized his contact in locava and establish a gang here. He named it Eastern Wolves. A gang to counter other in the city. Thomas Shelton had excellent knowledge of arms and gangsters life because he worked as gangster in locava for a long time. His friend in locava helped him to get stronger. Few year later Victoria became a stronghold of Eastern wolves. Thomas Shelton died after some time and his best apprentice took the leadership in his hand" Kevin stopped his speech here he was very tired.

"Who was his apprentice?" Joy asked.

"It was me," Kevin replied.
