Prologue

Year 2020 in a certain basement a girl was sitting . A satisfied yet defeated smile hung her lips.She was barely 20,and not a beauty queen but not ugly either.Her name is Mia, Mia Lockhart . So I really came back 10 years past after dying in the apocalypse,she thought to herself.It was disorienting at first,unbelievable too but it all set in within few minutes .Coz Mia may not have been the mightiest evolver but she has been one of the most adaptable kind of person on earth for sure.At year 2020 earth faced a terrible Meteor strike.It struck at Sahara desert which became the ground zero for the mutation. The rays emitted from the collision was bizarre. All organisms were effected ,although not equally.All types of organisms started mutating slowly but within 10 years the situation became horrible.For humans specifically it was nothing short of the worst nightmare.Ants alone mutated into as big as an elephant,let alone an actual elephant but that was not the case for humans. Coz every living being ,their body datafied and unlocked a game like interface along with a mystical Shop

where everyone could buy powers to items of all kind in exchange of life points.The system even had an androgynous AI.Scientists believe this 'system' belonged to some kind of ancient civilization.and it collected life energy and converts it into points and then materialises it in terms of supernatural power or items for people to buy.There was this panel where every status of body and mind was indicated .You kill mutated beings,get life points and add to Strength - Stamina - Vitality - Agility - Spirit in these stats.10 life points were equivalent to one stat point.You can also select 'Class' like warrior,mage,guardian,assassin etc depending on which the power shop will show selective powers for said class. This ensured humans can develop any way they wanted.The world however was drowned in utter chaos.Killing , Rape and all other kind of crimes skyrocketed among the survivors.In presence of tangible surreal power everyone let loose their inner nature.Only 10% of humanity survived the 10th year of apocalypse.Mia died not in the hands of mutated beasts but in the hands of her own lover who killed her along with her whole family which she painstakingly rescued and brought together through apocalypse.Samuel McGregor, Sam as Mia used to call her lover,killed Mia in the most gruesome way by skinning her whole body alive for a tome of time magic that Mia bought from shop.Little did he knew that,that tome was bound to Mia's life .It brought fourth Mia's memory, all of it at a previous timeline when the apocalypse is still 7 days later. Mia spent few minutes thinking what she would do next.Deciding that she would go down a totally different path than her previous life where she has been a mage.Mia after experiencing the torture in Sam's hand went somewhat mad actually.She decided to embark on the path of a berserker in this life time .She felt the desire of slaughter and revenge like never before.She did not totally give in to those thoughts but she did not deny them either.she decided to face Sam again and kill him at her own pace later .First she needed to prepare for the imminent disaster and thus the story began.
