Chapter 3 One Good Idea

I get up and do the same routine stuff as usual. This time it was slightly different. I had an idea to start a business writing books on all sorts of topics. Nothing specific so I had to make it up, so that my parents would just leave me alone. The big issue was that I was 30 years old, broke and no girlfriend in sight. Everyone presumed that I was a complete loser and also gay. My uncle once told me he wished he was gay. I also heard that from at least one other person, but it was a woman. I think it is hard to be gay according to the people, who wish they were. I guess it wouldn't be a wish, if they were. You see I could never understand why people wanted to be something other than what they are. I always wanted to be like others in talent and behavior, but never wanted to change who I really am. I loved myself too much to ever have such blasphemous thoughts. So, I could never relate to my uncle, maybe he should've been gay, so he could say he wish he were straight. Or maybe he read about gay orgasms or something like that. I try not to go deep into people's private desires.

That day I felt different, driven confident that I could make it in this world. All I needed, was one good idea after all. You see I was not a real loser, just a determined man to start his own path. I had a BS degree in business and an AA degree in computer science. So, I had a good foundation for the future, of what was to come. I need a good plan and get out of my parents shadows. I knew that I couldn't do it all on my own. I need a second man, or two. My brother wasn't a man, so I tried recruiting all of my friends. They all had dead end jobs, so maybe I could persuade them to join in my quest for true freedom. Most said no, but 2. One was my long-lasting friend from high school. I remember seeing him from a window when I was in junior high, when I was over my other friends house. He was borrowing a controller or game. I could not remember; it was a long time ago. I think he disputes that encounter, oh well I know I'm right. So, we come up with plan to write these books and sell them online. For the first few months the sales are really minuscule. My other friend drops out, says his brother has work for him. Since that point I haven't heard from him in a year or so. Guess he was "really busy" working with his brother. It was either this works out or I was back on the horse working for some asshole who has to prove himself before getting a promotion for a VP position that everyone already has. I needed to succeed, since waking up early and kissing ass was not in my forte. Lucky for me, my friend was also living with his parents. For some reason he didn't want to quit either. He also wanted to be his own boss. We pushed each other in the most non-aggressive way possible. The stress was low even though we had some rough patches.

Two years go by, and we finally started to trickle in some money, so we started to spend some of it on hookah lounges. We started to see some action, when pretty ladies would walk by, and we would stare. That was just the beginning, we started to get some stares back a few months later. We are sitting at the coolest lounge mid-June with mist in our faces, watching basketball. The commercial comes on, buy bitcoin today with us and save on fees. All this while I had forgotten about the cat accident and the vivid dream that night. All of a sudden it clicked into my mind.

Dan- "Bro, that cat is the golden pussy. Look at the price of bitcoin's it is up 500%."

My friend stared at me in a surprised fashion and started laughing.

George- "What the f…ing are you smoking bro.?"

Dan- "Same thing as you man. Listen its my uncles' cat, we have to kidnap it."

My friend was in not liking the words that were coming out of mouth. I'll explain….
