1 RUNNING OUT OF STRENGTH
Standing on a branch of a tree in the middle of the night was Andrea Drakos, crown prince of the Galanis kingdom, also known as the vampire race.
His men were waiting for his next order below the tree, they had been searching for a warped hitza witch, for the past seven days without a break, and by then all Andrea's men were tired. Andrea was also running out of strength drastically,
the only way he could regain his strength fast, was to drink blood directly from a female human.
"rest here you all, I'll be back before Dawn" Andrey left on that note.
He leapt onto another tree, from there he could see a small house, a little bit detached from that of the other villagers, the windows of the house were open and shown light through them, meaning there was someone in there.
Vampires were not allowed to drink blood from humans, or other creatures, it was forbidden, only members of the royal family were allowed to do so.
With a few more leaps Andrea was inside the house, he located the room, he saw a very beautiful human girl sleeping on the bed, a book opened on her chest, and the lamp beside her still turned on. She must have slept off while reading.
Andrea knelt down beside the bed and gently shook the girl, who looked to be in her twenties.
He didn't know why he was being gentle with the her, but he didn't fight it.
Damara woke up with a start, why would anyone wake her up, she lived alone, her mother whom she used to live with had died a year ago.
She turned to her side to see a very handsome vampire knight kneeling beside her.
"As you know, I am the crown prince of this kingdom and I really need your blood, just stay still it won't hurt" Andrea showed Damara his royal Mark on his chest, and without waiting for her reply, he dug his already lengthened fangs in her neck, it tasted too good, but it didn't last forever,
Andrea removed his fangs before he sucked her dry. Just as he removed his fangs Damara slumped on her bed, Damien leapt out of the room, knowing she would be fine, all she needed was rest.
