11 May the strongest survive

The next day, they all woke up at 6:30 because the tests started at 8 am, and the detestable women said that they would be disqualified if they didn't manage to get on time. Having a shower was very delicate because they had to take a shower in the municipal pool's shower. At 7:20, they were all ready, and about to go. Ian's aunt chose to drop them with her van which made it easier for them. Once they got there, the place was crowded. The most surprising was that all the people were teenagers. There were no adults, and there were more to come.

The 4 teenagers chose to separate themselves to see more about the outside of the scho. Before the school gate, there was a big path, as the path in a park leading to it. In other words, the outside of the school' entrance was a sort of park, and this is where the students were waiting to start their exam.

Ian went to the side where most of the students were reading. He was wondering why all of them were reading books on how to deal with stress.

'Maybe they are stressed, I mean everyone's stressed right now.' He thought as he sat down and took his phone out. By now, you must have realized that Ian loved social media a lot.

Ella sat down on a bench and started to make a ponytail out of her hair. As she was about to finish, a boy with blue eyes and blonde hair sat down next to her.

"Hey there," he said slowly and deeply, "you're the one who broke the elemental level's record. You are kinda cute I'm not gonna lie, so how about we form a team and eliminate the opposition?"

Ella was too busy making a ponytail out of her hair to answer the boy.

"Hey, answer me! Do you know how powerful my family is?!" he said offended by Ella's silence.

Ella simply looked at him when she was done with her ponytail, stood up, and left.

'How dare she disrespect me in such away. She'll regret that, I'll make sure she doesn't pass this exam!' he thought

Mandy was following Jason everywhere as if she was waiting for something to happen to him.

"Lemme check how much I got..." he said as he was checking how much money was in his pocket, "Ah! I've got enough for one soda and a big pack of chips."

He was walking towards the store section with Mandy. Of all the sections in the park, the store section was the most crowded.

As they were walking to the grocery store, one girl with a ponytail blonde hair and big boobs walked blocking their road. It seems all girls applying for this school are arrogant...

"Are you the prodigy everyone is talking about? I just wanna know one thing, are you as powerful as people say you are?" she asked

Jason looked at her with an uninterested voice and said: "Can I know your name first?"

"Why don't you give me yours before?"

"If you know about my reputation, then you know my name," he replied with a smile.

She didn't seem affected by Jason's provocations: "My name's Lucy Artfilia, daughter of the red lantern, so I'm ranger nobility. I can't believe such a shitface like you managed to hit 9000 "

Jason, who found what she said very absurd giggled and walked past her: "How is it miss nobility isn't in the recommended list of the school?"

Recommended list is a list in which Dainsleif recruit the ranger's sons who they think, have a bright future.

Lucy started turning red without being able to say a single word. She was feeling disrespected by him but tried to contain her anger

"It's don't feel anything at all..."

"You make it sound sexual," he said as he was walking to the grocery store. However, before she could say anything with her face turning red, an announcement came. It was coming from the school's entrance. Everyone gathered around it, so it was hard for Jason to find Ian and he gave up at one point. A women's voice cam out of the speaker on the top of the big entrance and said:

[Good evening students, welcome to the 17th admission test of Dainsleif... This test will be divided in three stages, the first stage being physical stage, which will evaluate your physical traits such as body shape, muscle, endurance and agility according to your elemental.

The second stage will be elemental power, where you will throw your most powerful attack on a power absorber which will evaluate your elemental power.

The last stage will be combat, our newly invented stage which consists of putting you each in a group of 5 where you will be fighting a demon simulator. This stage has been added because this year, we are receiving a lot of high quality students, and we absolutely do not need the weaker ... Thank you, and may the strongest survive]

When the lady was done speaking, the crowd of students started to panic. Of course, most of them have researched about the tests, and prepared themselves based on that, but this new test that was added scared them.

"Facing a demon simulator?! How on earth am I going to survive that?"

"I never prepared for real combat!"

"I didn't sign up to come back home with bruises!"

"How do they let inexperienced students like us fight a demon simulator?"

Jason was still in the store section looking at the crowd's reaction. He couldn't understand why they were so surprised by the announce, did they think this was a normal or casual school?

'This school is in the top 5 of the most rigorous schools, I don't understand how these dumb fucks didn't think about perfecting their combat...' he thought with one eyebrow slightly up when he looked at the crowd.

Jason went to the grocery store, and got Doritos and a can Dr peckers. Mandy was still beside him, but Jason didn't really mind, as long as she kept her mouth shut.

People were starting to leave because they never prepared for any combat situations. Jason from where he was could clearly see a change in number. Now, they were less than 100 which made it way easier to breathe and look for his friends.

He saw Ella from far acting like Ella, she already had a group of girls following her from behind everywhere she was going. Ian, was on his phone as usual, and surely didn't hear the announcement. Jason walked towards Ian, and Ella followed when she saw him.

Once they were all gathered next to Ian, they all had a small talk about the announcement, and the departure of most of the students.

"People really just left after they heard we would fight..." Ella said as her new assistants were behind.

"Who are they?" Jason said as he looked at the four girls behind Ella.

When Jason said that, the girls couldn't help but blush when they saw his attention was towards them.

"Oh don't worry, they are just a few friends I made," Ella replied, "but I see you made an assistant of your own with miss Mandy here"

"Oh no, it's just that I-I had no where to go so I-"

"Oh just be quiet, it's way better when you just shut up." Jason said ad he interrupted her. He still couldn't get why she followed him everywhere after being so vicious to him.

Ian seemed to be in his old world not listening to what they were saying. His face was looking down directly at the screen. Ella peeked to see what he was doing on his phone, and when she realised he was asleep, she slapped him to wake him up.

"Huh, I'm awake!" he said.

Suddenly, the entrance gate opened, and the voice came back.

[Please, for the students who are still willing to participate to the test enter this room.]
