4 What a day this was

April 30th

Well, it was like any other day so far. Then again, it had only been six hours into the day so far. Though I said that, there was a difference.

It occurred when I ate suhoor. While eating the leftover KFC from last night, I opened webnovel on my phone.

There I saw it, an absurd amount of notifications coming from my inbox. But before I had opened it, I thought to myself.

"What did I do? Did I make someone mad? Or did someone billionaire go on a gifting spree?"

But then I remembered. Before I went to bed, there was this one author that had promised to read my work. Then again, notifications from them were already coming five minutes before I slept.

So, with that in mind, I opened it. When I opened it, I saw that the majority of the notifications stemmed from "Paragraph Comments".

From what I've read, it seemed like they were having "fun" while reading through. They get mad with other characters, while also getting sad when a sad event occurs.

All in all, it seemed like an enjoyable experience for them. And as an author, what more could I want from a reader.

Then I refreshed the app by closing it and then opening it back. There was another notification, this time it was from another author, they read through this work and left a review.

Then at 06:00 AM, I opened webnovel again, only this time, I opened it via my laptop. I opened webnovel just so I can put a timer on the release of chapter three. Also, to see if any notifications were coming from inkstone.

There was, it came from another author. They were similar to the previous author hat had read this work, the only difference is that they didn't leave a review, only comments. Nonetheless, I appreciated it.

dum dum dum

I was woken by sounds that you'd hear from hitting drums. I opened my eyes to find out it was my cousin (the one who played Minecraft last night).

He came by the house while I was asleep.

"Ah… whatever, I'll just continue to sleep," is what I thought of at the time.

So, upon finding out, I continue my sleep. By the next time I woke up, I found a mouse! …connected to my laptop.

"I guess he played Minecraft while I was asleep huh," is what I had concluded could have happened while I was asleep.

Then I properly woke up and grabbed my phone which I placed above me. Turned it on to see the time, it was already a quarter to ten.

So, I took my phone and got up. But in the end, I ended up laying down on the sofa instead. After that, I had just checked my messages.

When I was checking my phone, another two cousins had come. The older one had done the same thing I did. She woke up and then slept again.

But after they had come, my other cousin booted up my laptop again. Of course, to play Minecraft.

By doing so, he rendered me unable to write as I did not want to disturb their fun. And in the end, I just played with the younger one, who was four years old.

Some time had passed. After they were done, I could continue writing this again, though in the car. Since we're going to visit another relative. My parents said it'd be a two-hour drive.

After a while, we finally arrived at the location. Nothing much happened, we greeted each other. Then my parents conversed with them. Afterward, we prayed then got in the car, and headed back to grandma's place.

The journey back wasn't as smooth sailing as we had expected. At some point in our drive, we heard sounds coming from the back of our car.

dundun dundun dundun

After hearing the sound for a while, my dad stopped the car on the side of the road. When we stopped, we came out to check if there were any damages.

Turned out, the right wheel of the back had sliced open, it was also the cause of the sound that we heard. Fortunately, we got it fixed at the gas station that was in front of us. Afterward, we went back on the road and drove.

While on the road, I got bored and decided to write chapter ten of my other book, "Lunaria". So, I whipped out my laptop from my backpack.

But it was not long-lasting. The road suddenly got bumpy so I had to put my laptop back in my backpack or else it might've broken.

Then I had nothing else to do but watch the sunset. It was beautiful. I also saw an interesting cloud that looked as if it was catching a friend. But I got this smoke picture instead.

But then iftar was approaching. We weren't near grandma's house. So, we had to break our fast in the car. My mom had bought some food at the gas station and we broke our fast with those.

When we finally got back to grandma's, we prayed and dad ordered food for me and my little brother. My Brother ordered chicken steak, meanwhile, I ordered calamari.

We prayed taraweeh as we waited for our order to come. But when it came, I was stunned. The calamari was not what I had expected. It was basically just fried flour with little to no calamari.

After I had finished eating, I went to the bedroom to work on "Lunaria". But a sudden darkness had suddenly enveloped me. Turned out, the whole city had a blackout.

My parents were planning to eat out. They were about to walk around the city, underneath the city lights. But the darkness came, so they had to go by car.

They had offered me to go with them to eat. And since I wasn't satisfied with my calamari, I took their offer and got in the car.

When we were about to drive down the hill, we found out that there were no signals. So, we waited for there to be any.

After it had turned back on, my dad opened google maps and put in our destination. When we got down, the houses were black, with no light.

Then, we had finally arrived at our destination. The food we ate was called "bakso", a dish in Indonesia. I had also ordered mango juice for my beverage of choice.

When we were done, we ordered another portion for grandma to eat. After that, we headed back to grandma's place. Then after arriving, I wrote this, brushed my teeth, ate my medicine, and slept.
