2 Molar

April 28th

It was in the middle of the night when I was woken up. I was woken up by the insane pain that was coming from my gaping mouth.

This mouth of mine had been hurting for the past few days. Because I decided to ignore it, I just slept it off, hoping nothing would happen.

But I was very much wrong. The pain had been rampaging wildly to the point I couldn't sleep for a while.

I looked to my left to find my dad who was also sleeping. But I didn't want to wake him up. Especially after that 16-hour drive here from the capital.

Luckily for me, I fell asleep within a short period. But I had to do it with my mouth gaping open so it wouldn't hurt as much.

Yet the sleep was not long-lasted. Eventually, I woke up again, with the same amount of pain stemming from inside my mouth.

Looking for comfort, I looked for my mom. She was sleeping with my little brother in the room next door to ours.

I woke her up with a silent scream of pain that I projected. She told me to take "Panadol". She said it'll act as anesthesia and will help me through the night.

I sat down on the chair in the living room while my mom looked for the medicine. I took a glass that I had previously used and filled it with water as I waited.

After taking the medicine, I offered my mom to sleep in the room with the air conditioner, the room where dad and I were sleeping in.

But my mom declined and laid down on the solid floor with carpet on top. She said it was comfortable for her back.

I didn't pursue the matter any longer and went back to the room and slept. And as my mom had said before, I slept soundly before I woke up for suhoor.

For suhoor, I had sunny-side-up eggs paired with plain rice, possibly that my mom had made it. After eating I then slept again. Later I was woken up again for Fajr prayer and then slept again afterward.

Only this time, I dreamed. This dream was one of those that I could feel. The dream was about me that was back in Australia.

It was about me embracing my primary school crush (embarrassing, I know.). I concluded now that it was probably because I wanted comfort.

When I woke up, it was already late, around 10:00 AM. I woke up to my parents discussing getting me to the nearby dentist.

I agreed with their decision. We then later went by car to the dentist. When we arrived there, I looked to my right to find a rice paddy that was most likely been harvested recently.

It was a quick procedure going in and out of the dentist's office. When I had it checked, they said it was my molar tooth. Mind you, I'm not even of legal age yet, which made the case abnormal.

After we had gotten our medicines that will reduce the pain I'm experiencing, we left. When we were back in the car, my dad made a proposal.

Dad had offered to go sightseeing, he offered the beach or the forest. To which I responded by saying beach.

We went there on small roads. The roads were enveloped with artisans that specialized in wooden types of furniture, such as tables, chairs, drawers, etc.

We knew we were nearby the beach when we saw a sign that translated to "Beach Café". When we arrived, we saw empty seats lining up.

Though of course, the reason for this was Ramadhan, the month that Muslims fast. Other than that, I was honestly disappointed with the beach.

You'll know when you see the picture attached to this sentence.

After taking a few photos, we drove off. After a while, my mom was intrigued by a fisherman fishing by the river. My dad made parked so she could observe for however long she wanted.

When she was done observing, she got back in the car. There, she told us how there was no fish in the net. Even though it had been a while.

Afterward, we dove even further into unknown territory. Then after a while, the road we were on was surrounded by farms. Farms that produced milkfishes and prawns. There were also salt-producing ones.

Photos will be included in this sentence.

We followed google maps further only to find bridges that cars will never cross. So, we had no choice but to head back the way we came. But before that, my parents took pictures

After they were done, we drove again. After a while, we found ourselves on a big road, now headed home. We stopped by a small market and bought a few things.

When we arrived back at grandma's, I rested. I spent the rest of my time before iftar reading manga and writing chapter one of this.

Then iftar came. Once I heard the adhan, I broke my fast with a cup of tea and bread. After eating the bread, I ate my medicines.

As for the meal I had. I had chicken steak, which here is just fried chicken breast. This was accompanied by fried mushrooms on the side, then crackers to top it off.

Though unfortunately, I couldn't sleep. Not until I drink my medicine at around 10:00 PM. While waiting, I wrote this chapter.

I finished up writing this chapter and headed to sleep. The fortunate thing is that I could no longer feel the pain that I had experienced this morning.
