Walking towards the car, Katherine decided to enter the car seat but then Mike said, "Give me the Keys, I'll drive." he said and upon hearing that, Katherine contemplated for some time before then giving it to him.

They entered the car and drove off leaving the Xi's Mansion.

Meanwhile Rena who was upstairs watched them as they drove away. She was more than annoyed, she was upset.

Who did that woman think she is to take the attention of her husband and daughter.

Taking a hold of her phone, she dialed a particular person's number and as the person answered, she said, "I want you to find out everything you about my husband's newest secretary. All her secrets, and don't you dare miss a detail."

Saying that, she hanged up and said, "Just wait and see Katherine... whoever you are, I'm gonna throw you out if Mike's life just like I've done to other women who have tried taking my husband away from me."

And with that, she turned around and left while stomping her foot on the ground.

In the car, Mike was busy driving while Katherine was beside him in the front seat, she was staring at some files.

Being his secretary means she had alot of things to do including knowing his schedule and important works and meeting.

As she was turning over the pages of the document, Mike couldn't help but steal a glance at her.

She looked like she was the boss and he was her secretary. Her Demonia was something frightening if you wanna say it, especially when she was being serious.

From back home, he saw as she shouted and reprimanded the maids and he knew that they were all frightened of her.

Just then, the words that Katherine wasn't expecting to hear, left Mike's mouth, "Katherine, I'm sorry about what my wife said."

Hearing that, Katherine quickly looked at Mike who was a lot swollen. parking the car at the side of the road, he continued, "She can be a brat sometimes and be lawd with her words but I promise that I'll make sure she apologize to you."

Upon hearing that, Katherine started laughing slightly and hearing her laugh made Mike a little confused, "Is something funny about what I said?"

He asked and hearing that, Katherine laughed slightly and shaked her head, "Sorry Sir! I didn't mean to laugh it's just that it's a little funny why you are apologizing when there is literally nothing to apologize about."

"Trust me when I say that words like that, show no harm to me because I'm not weak person who let the words of people change how I feel or ruin my beautiful and happy day and anyway, I've already forgotten about your wife's words the moment we left." she continued.

Hearing that, Mike smiled slightly. Now he felt more happy and peaceful, "Well I'm happy to see that you aren't hurt by her stupid words. on another note, I'll like to thank you for what you did for my daughter."

"Oh common, you thanking me for that? I should be thanking you for letting me talk to that cute child if yours. She is Soo pretty and she has your blue eyes which makes her attractive and cute." she said as a slight laughed escaped her red cherry lips.

"Well then next time, I'll introduce you two in a more pleasant way than the incident that had occurred. I'm sure my wife won't like it but Annabel will." he said with a smile and started the cat once again.

Meanwhile Katherine Just stared in thin air, she didn't know why but she didn't like it when he said that word 'My wife'

It was like he was showing possessiveness of her. 'Katherine what nonsense are you thinking. They are married so of course he has every right to be possessive of her it's not like he married her not for love but for something else'

Katherine thought to herself as she tried to maintain a smile although her minds were having a war of their own.

Because he didn't have his breakfast, Mike then took them to a nice coffee shop downtown.

They took their seat and awaited their food. Staring straight at the seated Katherine, Mike could now look at more nor carefully and calmly now.

Today she wore something more classy than that of yesterday and she looked bossy, and as graceful as ever.

She wore a beautiful White Blouse with a nice bowknot stand at the collar and let's not forget a nice High waist leg pants which looked lovely on her.

She stared at her bright face which stared at him back, but just then, the sound of her phone ringing was heard which completely ruined the moment.

It was Katherine's phone and upon seeing that the caller was Ruby, Katherine felt a little worried because Ruby only called When there was a problem, could there be a problem with the boys.

Standing up, she said to Mike, "Excuse me sir but I have to take this call, I'll be back as soon as I'm done."

She said and upon hearing that, Mike nodded and she left to answer the call. hopefully it wasn't going to be something of a bad news related.
