Chapter 8 - Angered the boss

Serina left the hospital and went to the office as the walked into the office to the elevator, all eyes were on her as if she was entering a lion's den. When she came out of the elevator she met Richard ana he asked curiously and worried.

"What have you done Serina?". Richard then left . Serina realized she was in a big trouble that explained why everyone was looking at her so. Since she started working there she made sure she didn't get on his nerves but she did it today. She reached the door and stared at the door knob for sometime. After about 2 minutes of standing outside, she gathered courage and opened the door. She saw Nicklaus leaning on the table with his hands in his pockets staring furiously at the door and now at her. Serina gathered courage and said

" I...I am sorry sir I..." Before she could continue, Nicklaus interrupted rudey his cold was as cold as ice.

"Where have you been?!"

"In... In...the hos...pistol"

He looked angrily at her and yelled

"Hospital!?" Serina flinched in fear as tears gathered in her eyes.

"Did I send you to the hospital!? How could you? You kept a client waiting for over an hour?!"

He stood up right and walked towards her he pointed his finger at her but before he could say anything else Laura entered the office and Nicklaus pretended to be putting a strand of hair behind Serina's ears he then asked

"What are you doing here Laura?" Laura hugged him and burst out crying. Nicklaus got angry and asked

" What happened? Who touced you!? Who dared hurt my sister?!"

" No one touched me. It's Ira"

Serina thought Ira? She turned to look at Laura as she continued

" Ira was involved in an accident and she...she is in the hospital the doctor said she needs $ 250,000 for her surgery or else she will die in less than a week. I don't want her to die brother". She started crying again Serina talked towards her and asked

"Do you know Ira?"

"Yes I do she is my friend. Who are you?"

" I am her sister "

"What? You are Serina?"

"Yes and I guess you are Laura the girl she helped "

" Yes I am" Laura who was sitting on the floor with his brother all this while stood up and hugged Serina. Nicklaus watched the two girls hugging themselves and crying. He hated to see his only sister cry he knew he had to help her sister and not Serina but how? How will he do that? Just then he had an idea and smirked.
