1 Chapter 1: The Unexpected Meeting

"i need to leave here..." Cypher said as she walked around a strange unknown place full of snow, trees and ice. She heard a noise.. running... someone was running... running towards her! She got up hearing the running and she ran... she ran so fast she thought her legs might give out... "*who is running?!*" she thought as she ran. *"someone is chasing me!! But why?? and how did i even get here??*" she thought as she continued to run. Up ahead.... there was an edge.. a cliff that she didn't see.. she kept running... then.. she ran off the cliff.. "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" she yelled as she fell from the cliff. She hit the ground and landed in a pile of snow with a thud. What must have been hours later she opened her eyes and there was a person... he was a skeleton... he wore a dark blue jacket and he had a huge crack in his head.. his left eye was glowing red and she couldnt completely see his face as it was night and dark at the time... She did however see he had a knife... she covered her face with her hand expecting to feel the slash of a knife across her chest then feel deaths embrace but.. the person burst into tears laughing "wha-...?" she said confused of his reaction "PFFFT HAHAHAHAHAH" the guy laughed as he whiped a tear from his eye "Sheesh kid, im not THAT crazy" still giggling "i saw you and you seemed lost so i figured I'd lend you a hand." he said sweetly "but.. why where you chasing me???" Cypher said kinda creeped out and confused "Well you started walking away while i texted my bro that i was gonna be late coming home so i was worried you would get killed out here since this place isn't too friendly, so i chased you to catch up before that could happen. Don't worry kid, im not a stalker i swear haha" he laughed a bit "oh.." Cypher said. "Then you fell over the cliff and kid ill tell ya, you would be dead if you where human so you are pretty lucky" the guy said sounding a bit concerned. "i can handle myself thanks.." Cypher said with a bit of attitude "jeez kid you don't have to be sassy, Besides when i got down here you where nearly frozen haha. Guess you could say you where... Chilled to the bone" the guy burst out laughing and Cypher snickered a bit. "oh lord i mean it's winter here so you sweater believe it is cold" Cypher said as she laughed a bit. "so what's your name kiddo" Cypher looked at him with a kinda annoyed face "what's yours" she asked "haha ok then. HorrorTale is the name, it's nice to meet you-?" "Cypher..." she responded
