4 Jackie Welles

Morning 

I wanted to sleep a little bit more but a certain hair ball with legs decided to jump on my stomach. 

"Lola, come on at least give me 5 minutes" 

"woof" 

Apparently not because she decided to pulled me off my bed 

"bunk" 

"Woof, woof, woof" 

"Lola you, never mind just drag me to the bathroom" 

And so you can see men's best friend dragging its owner to said location 

I got up from the floor and look at myself in the mirror 

"I really don't have any chrome on me not even that ship socket on the head or that USB cable on my wrist honestly, I'm glad I don't have that" 

In the game it looks cool but in reality it's just creepy like seeing somebody pulling off their blood vessel. 

Looking at the mirror again appreciating how I took my time to customize the character to look just like me, as much as I can since customization has its limits not so handsome or ugly just right. I can't imagine looking like somebody else or worse I could have ended as a woman. 

Bite 

"Ouch what was that for?" 

Lola turns around and leaves the bathroom 

Did she bite me because I was thinking badly about woman. 

Whatever the problem I have now is how am I going hack terminals or is somebody hands me a chip with information or coordinates of a target. It's funny really because I can still use operating system modded cyberware and use crazy hacks I tested it with a car. 

I don't want to go to a Reaper dock just to put a chip on my head and a USB cables on my arm hell it doesn't even matter because my defense is at Max. 

"It doesn't matter it's just animation there's many ways to do it, wait a minute." 

I opened the window hopefully to find what I'm looking for. 

"Yes, it's here" 

You know when you play a game and you see the animation and want to make it better. 

"This is so cool and not only that it's a key item nobody can take it or hack it." 

What I have in my hands is a futuristic cell phone with this I can Insert any chip and hack any terminal no matter the distance. 

"To think It was just an animated mod" 

After eating breakfast we headed out not before I tip the person at the reception desk using my cell phone. 

"Thank you for the tip Mr. 8 have a great day" 

The same thing happened yesterday people are watching us but I notice the Valentino gangs are avoiding me I prefer this way since I don't want to keep being assaulted. 

We arrive at the El coyote bar when we enter everybody stop what they're doing and look at us and when I mean us, I mean Lola. I didn't care and went straight to the bartender while also looking for Jackie. 

"Hi what beverages are you selling?" 

"It depends do you want light alcohol or strong or maybe a special coyote beverage" 

"Light alcohol please" 

"You got it" 

The bartender's name is Pepe I remember there was a mission when he ask V to investigate if his wife it's cheating on him, he isn't a memorable character. 

"Oh my God is that a dog?" 

Looking behind me I see the owner of the bar a woman probably in her 40s Guadalipe Alejandra Welles also known as Mama Welles. (Thank you, Google) 

Hi there girl what's your name? 

"Woof" 

"Her name is Lola" 

"Lola what a beautiful name can I pet her?" 

"Woof" 

"She said yes" 

Without me noticing the bar got more livelier Lola became the center of attention surrounded by people who want to pet her or give her some treats. I have to admit the atmosphere of this bar feel relaxing. 

"And what's your name stranger?" 

I stretch out my hands to greet the woman 

"Name's 8 and you are?" 

"Alejandra Welles but most people call me Mama Welles" 

Mama Welles I heard about you you're kind of famous in Heywood. 

"Well, aren't you a polite young man I bet you're not from around here, did you get in trouble coming here?" 

"I just arrived yesterday" 

 I paused for a second scratching my cheek and decided to tell her the truth 

"To tell you the truth I was assaulted by 3 Valentinos gang who wanted to take Lola from me I told them no and to leave us alone they weren't happy about it I wanted to kill me" 

"Oh my God what happened next?" 

"I didn't have a choice I killed the two valentinos gang" 

"Two? didn't you say there were 3?" 

"Yes, two of them tried to kill me and the other one I spared" 

"Spared why" 

"She only wants to steal from me and I didn't have the heart to kill somebody while praying." 

She stood there looking at me, I could not look at her straight to her eyes I was looking everywhere hoping for this awkward atmosphere to end It didn't last long Because what she did caught me off guard. 

"I'm sorry what happened to, you really are a good person" 

She is hugging me no wonder everyone calls her Mama Welles she is like mother comforting a child. 

Hugging her back and saying thank 

After that we took a seat and talk for a while 

[Hours later] 

The person in question finally arrives 

"Mama I'm home" 

"Jackie my boy come here" 

I smile at this because Jackie is still alive 

Mama, am I seeing right is that a dog? 

Jackie is looking at Lola he crouched down and calls her 

"Come here boy come" 

"Grrr" 

"Easy there boy I'm not dangerous" 

"It isn't because you're dangerous is because you call her boy rather than calling her girl" 

"ohh really sorry about that girl I didn't mean too" 

"Woof" 

"I think she accepted your apology" 

"Jackie where were you and don't lie to me" 

"Don't worry Mama I was doing a job just delivering a crate that's it" 

"Ohh really does this crate has anything illegal" 

"No, maybe But it will earn us lots of money" 

"What is it spit it out" 

Suddenly I heard a woman's voice behind Jackie 

"It was a lizard a almost extinct animal" 

In front of me is the protagonist of the game she looks exactly has the cover art but she is wearing nomad clothes.
