2 First blood

"Well that took some time but we are here"

When heading to night city I forgot about the border thankfully I used the modded optical camo cyberware to easily pass through security. This modded cyberware will turn me into a ghost literally, nobody can see me or hear me and it has the ability to go through walls and people. I have a little bit of fun messing with the security like tapping somebody's shoulders, picking up random object, whispering somebody's ear, hell even Lola was in it as well taking their shoes. 

Yes for some reason the cyberware affects Lola too, I was worried at first since she doesn't have any cyberware but thankfully that wasn't the case. I don't have to carry her or distract the security to sneak her in, but I doubt any of the two option will work, carrying her will make people see a flooring dog and distracting the security will be futile since there are guards everywhere including cameras. 

When we finish having our fun we exited the border took some distance and spawn the modded car to continue to night city. 

"Well this is dog shit" 

"Grrr" 

"Sorry" 

You can't blame me the outer layer of night city isn't pretty, looking at the map I'm at Pacifica one of the six main districts a places to go for a vacation until it went to ruins now it's a haven for crime and gangs who have taken over its picturesque locales. 

"Let's go rest It's getting late"

Using ghost camo (modded Cyberware) and we went to the abandon hotel without anybody noticing looking for a room with a bed, thankfully we don't have to break windows or doors to get in. 

"This room looks decent" 

Even though I can easily fast travel to the city center it is best to take it slow. I take a good look around the room looking at the sink I decided to see if there's still water. 

"..." 

Nothing happened 

"What did I expect this place is abandoned" 

I went directly to the dining table and open my inventory looking at the list of food I have decided to take the more appetizing looking ones. 

"Here Lola eat up" 

"Grrr" 

"Don't worry it isn't the pre-pack shit we ate" 

"Woof" 

I was curious and decided to take out the cheapest food to see how it taste, that was a mistake it tasted like plastic with seasoning. When it come to fresh real food It's limited to corporates, celebrities and wealthy people. Thankfully I don't have that problem since I have infinite Food and eddies (money). 

"Tomorrow we'll go to city center and buy ourself an apartment" 

"Woof" 

After finishing eating we went to sleep. It didn't last long until I hear gunshots. 

Bang, bang, bang 

I open my eyes to see the situation using my modded cyber optic, what I saw was a man a woman being chased by scavengers. 

"I have to help them" 

Without hesitation I activated my modded sandevistan immediately everything went quiet I stood up and went to the front door. 

"Bang" 

"I forgot the door was boarded up I'm an idiot" 

"Woof" 

The broken door is suspended in the air no surprise there since I literally stop time and as expected Lola can still move. 

"Stay here I will be back" 

"Woof" 

Without hurrying I took my time and exited the hotel. 

"This is so cool and creepy at the same time" 

Looking at the scavengers shooting the man and woman when time is stop it's freaking awesome but creepy since they look like mannequins, it doesn't help that there's no sound when time is stopped. 

"In the middle of the night with no sounds and people that looks lifeless it feels that I'm in Silent Hill" 

Looking at the scavengers deciding how to kill them. They don't deserve to live they kill people and take their origins and cyberware. They treat their victims like pinatas not a living breathing human being. I decided to tie them up and take them to a secluded alleyway since killing them here and in this state of lifeless will now help me grow stronger in this world where killing people is a common thing in night city. 

"Shit" 

(Man and women pov) 

We were being chased by scavengers for no apparent reason we didn't have any eye-catching cyberware maybe they're after our organs or they're doing this for fun either way we've been targeted. 

Man "Damn it I got shot in the shoulder" 

Women "keep running if we stop we're dead" 

Scavenger A "Ha ha keep running there's nowhere to hide" 

Scavenger B "when we catch you we'll open you up" 

Scavenger C "not before we have our fun with her" 

Man "damn it where's the cops" 

Bang, bang, bang 

Woman "Don't stop we have to live" 

Scavenger A "Ha ha live? no you are going to suffer and d-" 

Quiet 

we look back and stop the scavengers disappeared 

Woman "what happened? where are they?" 

Men "be careful maybe they're using camo" 

1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes but nothing happened. 

Woman "I think we're safe camo doesn't last this long" 

Man "thank God let's go to the police station and report this, wait my shoulder is not bleeding the hell?" 

The man's shoulders is completely healed the only way to know that he was shot is by looking at its shirt soak with blood with a bullet hole. They don't know what happened but what matters is that they are still alive. 

(End of pov) 

I called Lola to follow me and took the three tie up scavengers in a dark alleyway preparing to kill them not after I interrogate them first. 

"So may I know why were you trying to kill those two people in the middle of the night" 

Walking around them to see what would they do one of the scavenger spoke. 

Scavenger A "f**k you do you know who we are" 

"Three idiots trying to take two people's lives" 

Scavenger A "f**k you just you wait I will make you scream and beg when I open you and take your organs. 

"You have big balls to say that to me let me get rid of them" 

I aimed my pistol to his crotch without hesitation I pulled the trigger 

Bang 

 Scavenger A "Aaaaaah! you mother f***er I'll kill you, I'll kill you, I'll kill you" 

"Since you want to kill me I have no option but to kill you" 

Bang 

I shot him in the head. For the first time in my life kill somebody and and I don't feel guilty for doing it maybe because he is a scavenger taking people's lives and organs or maybe it was the perk (cold blooded ) which ever it is I know I will not freeze up or hesitate to kill somebody. 

"You why were you trying to kill those people" 

Scavenger B "please don't kill me I'll do anything please" 

"Wrong answer Lola kill" 

Without hesitation Lola bite the scavenger's neck clean off the poor baster is suffering, a few seconds later he died. 

"I'm not going to repeat myself answer me honestly and I will give you a quick death If not I will do what That scumbag said to me I will open you up and feed your organs to my dog while you are still conscious you have 3 seconds" 

"One" 

I took out a knife 

"two" 

Scavenger C "We we we" 

"Three" 

Scavenger C "we did it for fun" 

I looked at the scavenger I crouch down to his eye level and said 

"Was it worth it?" 

Scavenger C "N n n no" 

I put away my knife and took out my pistol 

"That was the right answer" 

Bang 

I kept my words and gave him a quick death 

And just like that I left the alleyway
