Ori and David abandon the prisoners and run towards the prison's exit with Tanaka on the former's shoulder, they weren't completely alone however...

"David, who's your friend...?" Ori points a thumb over his shoulder at the man.

"Leo, childhood friend, he's trustworthy enough. He'd make a good member too, I think?"

Ori shrugs, "Good enough me I guess..."

After fighting through some small groups of stragglers, the three kick their way into the prison courtyard where Rebecca was firing the side gun to the point the barrel was actually starting to melt from the heat... Her targets? The three Arasaka AV trying to pick them off from the sky.

One AV was already heavily smoking and looking as if it'd crash any minute, but the other two looked fine... Falco's AV however had scratches, scorch marks, and other damage all over it.

"C'mon! Let's get the fuck outta here!" the cowboy shouts as the trio jumps into the rear cabin.

At her words, the surviving couple of Anti-Air guns around the prisoner start up and aim at the Arasaka AVs, firing streams of bullets at them and forcing them to rapidly retreat after one goes down.

"That all the suits sent!?" Leo asks, "I thought Arasaka wanted to nail their asses to a cross!?" the former prisoner asks.

"Don't worry about it." Ori states, unwilling to reveal Yorinobu's aid. While Tanaka was a somewhat important member of the Corporation, some internal manoeuvring had put the company's security teams on other tasks prior to the attack, leaving them with little ability to respond.

The subsequent retreat could be called a number of things... But exciting certainly was not one of them. After the one AV went down the Arasaka forces essentially said "Fuck it" and left, whether or not they knew the crew had kidnapped Tanaka was up the air, but Ori suspected they didn't.

After leaving the AV in the desert and swapping to a number of proxy vehicles, they headed back to their base and tied Tanaka up in the basement... While yes, Yorinobu wanted him dead, Ori wanted to see what information he had first before doing anything else. Their benefactor while 'trustworthy' was not someone Ori would allow to be blindspot.

Trust was one thing, carelessness was another.

"The damage has been utterly catastrophic, John. The Head of the Prison Services claims that matters have been handled, but from what I've heard there are still twenty-six dangerous criminals unaccounted for, likely having escaped during the terrorist attack committed by the 'Zombie Crew' in the wake of David Martinez' imprisonment.

"Can we expect any more retaliation from the terrorists? Perhaps a bombing on the NC Court of Justice? Or maybe other locations such as Arasaka Tower?" the new anchor asks, trying to link the Holocaust to the new rise of terroristic activity.

"As of now we do not know, the prison has taken enough damage to be unusable for months or perhaps even years. Had this not been an attempt to extract someone I shudder to imagine the destruction that could have been caused. Not only to the prison, but to surrounding civilian-owned property.

The bounty on David Martinez has been reinstated, and increased from last he was free. From five million eddies to ten. The capture or death of any member of the terroristic 'Zombie Crew' will be rewarded at minimum one million eddies."

"Ah? And what of the leader, this so-called 'Zombie' mercenary?"

"The city has put twenty million down, and Arasaka has supplemented it by thirty. Fifty million eddies for the man named 'Ori', dead or alive. This is not including the numerous bounties offered by other companies, those in Las Vegas especially."

"Well, I trust you'll keep up praised on the situation." the anchor turns to the camera, "Up next, why is my child addicted to virtual pornography? And why parents should allow it? At ten!"

Leo tosses the remote to the side and reaches back for the plate of nachos, guacamole, quesadilla, and salsa. "Shiet, any chance I can bug out now? You guys are asking to get fucked up by the Corps!" he states.

"You know where our base is so, no." David shrugs, "You'd just get thrown back in prison again too, I don't see you doing that well, things have changed since you got locked up."

"David!" Lucy suddenly exclaims and throws herself into his arms, uncaring of the bloody orange jumpsuit he was wearing.

"Babe, told you I'd be alright."

"Dude, how the fuck'd you nail a girl like that!? Do chicks dig terrorists or something? Shit, I picked the wrong crime to commit!" Leo mutters as the couple kisses.

"Who's the dog?" Lucy asks, laying her head on her boyfriend's chest.

"Leo, a friend before I joined Arasaka academy, he'll be joining the crew."

"You told Ori about that...?"

"I mean, kinda? We could always use more hands."

"Er, I mean, what else is he gonna say? Doubt he's gonna dome me, I ain't done shit to him." Leo says from his seat.

"Yeah..." Lucy drawls, "Ain't like he's had to kill friendlies before." she shakes her head, "But if you think it's okay."

"Where's Ori anyway?" David asks.

"With Tanaka, he and Rebecca are having a 'chat' with him. I'd stay away for a bit unless you like the sound of screaming. Personally not my zone..." she admits.

"So... You got any friends that'd like some company...?" Leo asks Lucy.

"Yeah, but none for you. Shave, put some decent clothes on, and fix those teeth and maybe you'll have a chance."

He chuckles, "Next you'll be tellin' me to change my face too."

She shrugs, "It'd help..."

"Davey, your gal is destroying me... What happened to bro's before hoes?"

"The hoes grew tits..."
