CYBERNETIC CHAOS: THE STEEL REAPER

In a tech-dominated society, Xander, once a bright young man, is reborn as the vengeful cyborg, the Steel Reaper, after his scientist mother is killed by heroes threatened by her innovations. Saved and enhanced by the same organization who were after his mother, Xander's new mission is clear: to annihilate the heroes who wronged him and avenge his mother's death using his newfound cybernetic powers.

*That night*

(7:00pm Neotropolis City)

{Xander's POV}

I had just left the arcade and dropped Julie off at her house. I then drove home in my car, feeling tired but still excited from the games. When I got to the house, I took out my keys and unlocked the door. As soon as I walked in, two people grabbed me from behind. One of them covered my mouth and nose, and I couldn't breathe. Everything went blurry, and I passed out quickly.

*****

I woke up in an unknown place, it looked like a large science lab with scientists working everywhere. I didn't know how much time had passed since I had been unconscious.

I was laying flat on a table, tied up. I tried to pretend like I was still unconscious until I understood what was happening. Just as I tried to look around my surroundings some people walked into the lab and I couldn't believe my eyes. They were Starshard, Nova striker and Phoenix, the three top heroes of Neotropolis. If they were here then I knew everything was going to be alright, I waited thinking they were going to shut the place down for having me kidnapped and tied up, I thought there was going to be an arrest.

"How's the kid?" Phoenix asked on of the scientists who looked like he was the head scientist. "He's ready, we can start whenever you want" The scientist answered her "Good we'll start now" Get him ready.

"If this works the boss will be unstoppable" Starshard said. "And if it doesn't?" He asked "Either ways the boy is gonna die" Phoenix said "He's not important we already got what we need from the mother" she added

"Where is it?" The scientist asked and Phoenix handed him a briefcase "5553087" she said.

"All scientists please the laboratory immediately" The head scientist announced loudly and everyone left the lab except the heroes and two female scientists who stayed back. The heroes then took their seats are watched the scientists work.

I didn't get what was going on, 'how were they a part of this and what were they saying about my mom. Weren't they suppose to be heroes, weren't they suppose to save people, what were they going to do to me' many questions filled my head

The scientist opened the briefcase and inside were, two flash drive, a microchip, and two syringes with blue fluid inside "Here plug it in the computer" he said handing the flash drive to the female scientists.

She plugged it in the computer and the contents showed up on the large screen. They played the video that was in the computer, it was a video of my mom.

"I am Nellie Kelman, an engineering scientist, and I've been working on some high-tech genetic engineering to push the boundaries of human-machine integration. Let's delve into the intricacies of creating a cybernetic organism.

First Surgical Integration:

The journey begins with meticulous surgical procedures to implant mechanical components into the body. This involves securely attaching mechanical parts to the skeleton or soft tissue using screws, brackets, or other fixtures. To foster seamless interaction between these components, we establish neural interfaces, connecting the mechanical parts directly to nerves, muscles, or even the brain.

Secondly Neural Interface:

The neural interface is pivotal, enabling the brain to communicate with and control the mechanical components:

- Direct Neural Connections: We implant thin electrodes directly into the nervous system, facilitating bidirectional communication between the brain and mechanical components.

- External Interfaces: Some of the cyborg systems utilize non-invasive external interfaces, like wearable devices or neural helmets, to capture neural signals and translate them into actionable commands. This could be an optional feature

Power Source:

For sustained operation of the mechanical components, a reliable power source is indispensable:

- Internal Batteries: We implant rechargeable or long-lasting batteries within the body to ensure continuous power supply.

- External Charging: Certain cyborgs may necessitate periodic external charging or power transfers to maintain peak performance.

Sensory Feedback:

This advanced cyborg will offer sensory feedback, enabling users to perceive and interact with their surroundings through the mechanical components:

- Sensory Transducers: These devices convert environmental stimuli, such as pressure or temperature changes, into electrical signals interpretable by the nervous system.

- Tactile Feedback Systems: Equipped with sensors, mechanical components provide tactile feedback, enabling users to 'feel' and manipulate objects with precision.

Control Systems:

Sophisticated control systems are pivotal for orchestrating the interaction between biological and mechanical components:

- Microcontrollers: Embedded within the mechanical components, these small computers process sensory input, execute commands, and adjust performance parameters in real-time.

- Software Algorithms: Advanced algorithms interpret neural signals, predict user intent, and optimize mechanical component performance based on user needs and preferences.

Maintenance and Upgrades:

To uphold optimal performance and longevity, regular maintenance and occasional upgrades are imperative:

- Monitoring Systems: Built-in sensors and monitoring systems continuously evaluate the condition and performance of mechanical components, alerting users or medical professionals to any issues warranting attention.

- Upgradable Components: Our modular design facilitates easy replacement and upgrading of individual mechanical components, aligning with technological advancements or evolving user requirements.

In theory this cyborg will operate via a sophisticated integration of surgical procedures, neural interfaces, power sources, sensory feedback systems, control algorithms, and maintenance protocols. The ultimate goal is to foster a harmonious interaction between biological and mechanical components, enhancing user capabilities, resilience, and adaptability in unprecedented ways."

The took the second flash drive from the briefcase and plugged it into a laptop on the desk. He typed something into the computer and then he said to one of the female scientists, "Get everything ready, we begin soon"

Then she opened a locked cabinet and began to bring out numerous cutting tools. Scaples, scissors, blades and she even brought out a saw and began to lay them on the table next to me. Then I started to get scared

"Play the next video" then the female scientist played the next video.
