Chapter 19: God of the Ocean!

2 months had passed by and Baal was preparing to face the overlord of the oceans. Although, a thought did occur to him in these two months, what if it was a Kyogre that he had to fight?

"Fuck, System, you really want me to go up against the god of the sea?!" Baal exclaimed sitting on a shore somewhere in the pokemon world.

[The Host needs to remember he is nearly a level 100 Pokemon]

"Interesting that your first words aren't to deny that it is a Kyogre huh?" Baal said with an unusual glimmer in his eyes before breaking out into a laugh, "Gotcha B*tch"

[Anyway, the host need not worry about The Overlord, you are an Apex pokemon. Apex refers to the levels above 75. Also, do not forget that you are an Abyssal Sage Pokemon.]

"Very true, very well, let's get to finding this Kyogre then," Baal said as he took off from the shore. He flew high up into the sky and pierced down through the clouds, diving deep into the ocean.

I swam deeper and deeper kicking with my powerful legs and tail, flaring my senses to see if anything came up on my radar. I spent a while moving between the Deep and Abyssal zones of the ocean, eating anything that I came across as I continued searching for this overlord of the ocean. I hoped that it wasn't in its primal reversion form or else I may have to use some of these points to gain a new ability to give me a terrain advantage.

However, Kyogre is a very special-based water type. Unfortunately for it, I am its perfect counter. In a few more hours, a large whale-like body entered my radar.

This was it, the final battle before I am overlord of the oceans.

He used electroplate which increased his defence and special defence. It also provided him immunity against burns and poisons. A metallic sheen reflected off of his body as his muscle groups became more pronounced. Then, a collection of white, purple and blue lights began flickering on his body as three-layered pieces of armour began forming. The cerulean Aqua armour formed above his electroplated skin then the rigid dragon armour formed above that. Finally, the white light began shifting into a more...destructive form.

The white light began remodelling itself into a plasma as it started flickering faster.

Zap!

The white light exploded into a beautiful set of white lightning armour with a crystal-white, lightning mask forming on his draconic face and snout. Baal then exploded upwards in the direction of the whale-like body on his radar. As he neared it, a purple-red light formed between his jaws.

Zoom!

"Scorching Poison Dragon's breath!"

A purple-red beam blasted towards the underbelly of the figure that was coming into Baal's view now. Before the beam could leave a wide puncture through its stomach, an obscure shield protected it yet cracks had already formed on the shield.

'Huh, so it has protect' Baal thought before a blue screen popped up in his field of view.

Baal was startled at the level and types of moves that this Kyogre had learned and soon enough, he could see the entirety of this Kyogre's body but one thing he didn't understand was that its colouring was off.

The Kyogre did not have its signature data-like red lines covering its body which he found odd. It was just Blue and white with its sunken, black eyes which now focused on Baal. They became slits in a second before Kyogre opened its maw and a large blue beam began forming in its maw before it got released and went straight towards Baal.

Baal grinned as he allowed the water-type Hydro Pump to hit him.

A blue flame flashed around Baal's body as the water began seeping into his skin, doing very little to damage him. Only the momentum of the beam affected him, causing him to take a step back and yet he was completely unaffected by the water-type move.

Then two different lights shined off of him as his speed, defence and special defence increased from their already high level.

This Kyogre seemed smart as it now understood that it cannot use water type moves and had to resort to other means. However, Baal took the time that Kyogre used to think about his immunity to charge up an ability that he has yet to use. He didn't want to use this move previously as was more of a terrain shaping move.

A multitude of colours collected around Baal's body before a pulse of the colours was sent out. The water around them now became much more violent as waves began rolling around them, forcing both Baal and Kyogre up to the surface of the ocean that they were battling in.

High up above them in the clouds, a unique phenomenon was occurring. Yes, something that we may already be familiar with.

The skies darkened and the sounds of thunder began echoing through the skies as the wind speeds began accelerating.

Boom!

The lightning struck the water's surface, frying any unfortunate fish or birds that were floating near the surface of the ocean. The ocean now became the battleground of two Apex Pokemon and soon enough, they both surfaced to the top of the ocean.

With this, Baal smiled as a familiar light encompassed him to which Kyogre smirked back at him before a familiar light also encompassed it.

Both Pokemon were mega evolving!

The water around Kyogre seemed to be growing icier as its breath took on frost-like properties before ice crystals began elongating out of its back. Its skin colour began changing into a snow-white colour before its underbelly took on a transparent, baby blue colour. Still, though, there were no data-like lines on its body. Baal found this very peculiar.

On the other side, Baal's body grew as it became the same size as Kyogre's. His shoulders broadened whilst the wings on his back grew larger. Eight other stumps began growing out of his broadened shoulders, four on each side of him. His eyes became deeper and sunken as they took on a purple tint. The blue breath that he usually exhaled now took on a menacing purple colour. The water around him began disappearing as his skin now took on toxic properties and the purple saliva around his mouth dropped out, causing the water to sizzle.

Baal was used to his mega evolution as he tried it in his rest period and now he felt very comfortable in it. It felt weird to think with nine brains, he controlled them all. To him now, it was just like controlling 8 other arms.

The scales on his body were now black, interlaced with complicated purple light glowing out of them. Nine malevolent heads roared in different directions. The head in the centre, Baal's main head which had a horn was radiating an incredibly tyrannical aura.

He was now a Nine-Headed Poison Hydra!

[The host has successfully mega evolved once again, congratulations on your Poison/Dragon Typing. Mega Charizard has been registered.]

"Change the unofficial name of this transformation to Mega Charizard H. H for Hydra" Baal whispered.

[Mega Charizard H registered. Currently in Mega Charizard H form.]

Kyogre and Baal now stared each other down as they destroyed the ecosystem before they both rushed at each other. Baal's armours formed around him immediately as his heads began biting down on Kyogre's whale-like body before a white light encompassed kyogre. It suddenly slammed its body into Baal's chest which sent him flying back through the water.

Even far away from this colossal battle, some pokemon with better vision stared at the two immense figures gnawing and attacking each other with fully mastered abilities. Their eyes gazed with tension at this battle. They watched from the shores of whatever their nearest beach was, not daring to step even one foot into the waters for fear of dying. The water became a death ground to anyone watching the battle as they saw the countless dead bodies floating on top of the water. All the bodies were either dead from the lightning strikes or from being unintentionally poisoned by Baal.

Even the overlord of the land, Groudon didn't dare to move towards the ocean and simply overlooked the battle from a high vantage point. It didn't dare to move towards the waters as it feared being ganged up on by two overlords.

Other Pokemon that could be considered Apex such as the little green onion fairy looked over the battle standing next to a large, deer-like pokemon with pronounced antlers. Beside Xerneas also floated a small, pink, feline-like pokemon...Mew. The forest gave the nostalgic feeling of an elven forest with fae inhabiting it with Xerneas being their Queen!

Even high up in the sky, three large white bird pokemon which were Apex also stared coldly at this battle. On a set of islands, two metallic pokemon stared tensely at the two colossal figures before they stepped back into a portal removing themselves from the event.

Roar!

Baal's voice echoed as his main head yielded a final, electrified bite that pierced through Kyogre's top and his head didn't stop. Now all of Baal's heads began worming their way through its top/back which was already covered in scratches and bite marks. Unfortunately, Poison had slowly made The Kyogre weaker throughout the battle and it was too exhausted now, it couldn't even muster up a single movement. Its tail had gone limp and...it had lost.

Baal's heads continued to bite down through its thick fat straight down to its spine before it crunched down.

Groawrrr!

Kyogre gave one final, melancholy cry before...

Crack!

Its entire spine shattered and the light in Kyogre's eyes dimmed as its body stopped making any movements. Today was a memorable day for the Apex figures of the current landscape. Groudon's eyes closed as it sighed wistfully acknowledging its rivalry with the past lord of the ocean. Baal stretched his hand out and absorbed Kyogre's body before...

A loud rumbling noise emerged from the mouth of Baal and yet before he could disappear under the ocean, he heard the sound of multiple things whizzing down to earth.

In the sky, multiple meteorites began falling towards the earth with mysterious marks on them. Some of the rocks even broke off into smaller pieces as they sped towards the surface of the earth. The largest of them fell towards the forest area along with another, one large piece fell towards the mountains and another large one fell towards the ocean...in fact, it seemed to be aiming straight for Baal!

He returned back to his original form and exited Mega evolution as he looked at the sky. Two of the white-coloured Apex flying pokemon had been hit by the mysterious rocks and a strange transformation began occurring.

One of the white flying pokemon began taking on a red colour as its arms elongated and its tail grew. Black lines formed along its body as black horns formed on its head. Five black claws began growing from its tail...

The other flying apex pokemon began transforming as well, its arms expanded as well but it stayed white-coloured. Dark blue plate-like protrusions ran down the length of its back and its underbelly took on a blue colour. Pointed blue or black spikes began forming around its eyes as it gave a final roar. Its wings now resembled large hands.

The third white bird pokemon also got hit by a meteorite and began taking on a brilliant set of red and gold colours. Its feathers became predominantly gold and red. Its tail feathers became stained with a beautiful yellow colour. It also gained a white underside and green feathers at the tip of its wings. Finally, the most predominant thing about it was its feathered, yellow crest that had sprouted on its head.

Baal's eyes widened as he finally saw what seemed to be a pink beam hit one of the meteorites which stopped it in its tracks, it began rotating rapidly...

The pink energy got absorbed by the meteorite before it expanded...and exploded!

A familiar sight greeted Baal's eyes...narrow legs with blue stripes on the upper portion. Its abdomen was black with vertical lines, while the majority of its skin was reddish-orange. One of its arms was a pair of tentacles coiled in a double helix.. whilst the other was a humanoid arm with a five-fingered hand. It had a blunt protrusion with a single blue stripe on either side of its head and stubby tail.

'That was a Deoxys!' was Baals last thought before being hit by his glowing, blue meteorite.
